  1. I hear you. I, on the other hand, am not predicting any wins for the Ravens until they can actually win a game first. But I am hopeful based on the returning players and will be cheering from my couch with a cold IPA on Sunday.
  2. @MetalRaven I've made several posts recently about how the FO put us in this position. They knew Joe was coming off a major injury, so what do they do? They draft a RT. Great. Oh, but they let go of Osemele and started the rookie. NOT GREAT!!! Now Stanley's injured and I'm sure Yanda is hurt from over compensating at his position, or as a result of Stanley's performance. What the heck? was the FO thinking on that one??? Biggest mistake since letting go of Boldin IMO. I could go on about the lack of quality draft picks since 08 as well. This team stinks because the FO has lost it's touch.
  3. Lool it's not the prediction as much as its being 100 percent focused on your next target. Thank you Halshayeji. I don't know what they are smoking at the castle, but Sarah, please don't let them pass it to you. I appreciate your optimism, but how can you pick the Ravens to win a game with the way they have looked over the last 4 weeks??? I don't care who they are getting back from the injury list. This team is in the toilet and they need a major plunging job to get them out. Here's my prediction for the remainder of the year. I predict all losses until they can prove on the field they can win a game. We'll go from there.
  4. I 'd rather the Ravens hone in on getting things right with themselves before they worry about anything else.
  5. Glad to hear they broke down the entire game, play by play, with the entire team. Seems like this could be a good tool every 3 or 4 games throughout the season.
  6. We are stuck with Joe so I see them getting O Linemen in the draft because Joe's contract and bad playing is making them go back to the drawing board! Sincerely The Troll Lol They should always be drafting linemen high in the draft. The game is won or lost in the line of scrimmage. Invest properly and the rest of the players can do their jobs. But the Ravens don't get it. They do get it, they drafted Stanley and Lewis for the left side of the line and they were strong the first few games before they both got hurt. They invested in Yanda with a big contract as well. You get Stanley, Lewis, Z, Yanda and a RT then our line would be solid. They may have gotten it to a certain extent by making those picks THIS YEAR. But they didn't get it fully. Why would they stick a rookie LT in the starting lineup right out of the gate? They also let go of last year's LT in Osemele. That is 2 bone-headed moves right there (starting a rookie LT and letting go of his mentor) and to give you the trifecta on how bad the judgment was on this move, they are supposed to be protecting a franchise QB coming off a torn MCL/ACL. What the heck is our FO thinking???? Now Stanley is battling injuries because he was forced to acclimate to this game without a proper transition. The Ravens are making mistake after mistake here.

  8. Harbaugh is the reason this team continues to fail. We'd be 4-2 if he wasn't so stupid on 4th downs in the red zone.
  9. Right now, there isn't a single word that can come out of the castle to make me think that we have a chance at winning any more games. I don't care if we have the entire team back from injuries either. This team is poorly coached. Games are poorly scripted. There is no quality in-game management. The list goes on and on. All I keep hearing are excuses.
  10. FO is to blame here. Everyone knows the game is won or lost in the trenches and the FO has done very little to provide quality depth on the lines, both O and D. Might be time for E.D. to take over as GM.
  11. Too bad the game doesn't mean squat. Shoot, I could coach the defenses.
  12. Good luck getting back on the roster Matt, we need you man. With that said, good luck to all the injured guys. The last 1 1/2 years have been brutal on us.
  13. Harbaugh is the one who rode the coat tails of Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and the rest of the legendary Ravens that made this team what they are. When Ray left he even said there was no leadership in the locker room any longer, and I believe he meant that as a jab at Harbaugh. Harbaugh has had time to make this team "his" and the record speaks for itself. It's a BIG FAT LOSING RECORD.
  14. Josh Johnson? What a Bozo statement. not even Bozo would make THAT statement. Actually, Bozo did make that statement. In all seriousness, his overall statement was perfect up until the JJ part.
  15. Harbaugh is the problem, the Ravens need to clean house. he's not the whole problem.. look at the draft picks Baltimore has picked up in the last 10 years.. how many pro-bowlers are in there? Not very many huh? guess whoever is making the draft choices is pretty bad at their job. I think bscotti needs to fire everyone not named biscotti and start over. I have been screaming about Ozzie Newsome's blown high draft picks for years and all I get is grief from those who think he can do no wrong. Ever since Ozzie drafted Sergio Kindle, it has been all downhill. I watch the NFL draft and no one, absolutely NO ONE, had Matt Elam rated as a first round pick. Same with Perriman. A ball dropper in college and a ball dropper in the NFL. OH, he is sooooo fast. Yeah, right. If he is so fast, why can't he get behind cornerbacks, and even if he does, there is a 50% chance he will drop the pass. Yeah, real value Ozzie. Our drafts have killed us. Completely agree with you. And when Oz does hit gold, we let those players walk out the door. I still think we should have done whatever it takes to keep KO. We won't find another player like that anytime soon. And because we have no left side of the O-line now, our QB who is getting outrageous amounts considering the quality of his game, is so afraid of getting injured he is literally flopping on the field. Flacco would be decent, if he had protection. Instead we let arguably the best young lineman walk - the only recent draft pick who has been worth a damn. It'll take 2-3 years at best to get out of the hole we are in. I've been clamoring for ONE thing over the years, ONE. Stockpile the offensive and defensive lines. We ALL know the game is won or lost in the trenches. We need to be deeper than we are at those positions. And it shows, painfully, every week that Yanda and Stanley sit out. We only have 2 O-Linemen on the injury report, that's it!!! And look how bad we are. 6 yards rushing this week!!! Are you kidding me. PATHETIC!!!
  16. Time for a new OC I'd imagine LOL. John is "never" to blame.
  17. Pass the pipe man. LOL
  18. John could be on the hot seat. He is turning into Billick, where he wouldn't sit Boller. What a horrible effort by the offense today. Horrible.
  19. Forget that Jernigan. The Defense was doing everything for the team today. It's not your fault Joe and offense stinks to high heaven. Keep ballin' brother!
  20. I'm assuming we will have a decent draft pick next year when I say this. If there is a quality QB available with our first pick, we should take him and groom him until he is ready and then let Joe move to backup, or trade him. I commend him for having the stones to turn down an offer by the Ravens before he won the SB, but he hasn't done squat since and his regular season stats have always stunk.
  21. I'm not knee-jerk reacting here. Joe, your decision making and blank stare on your face frustrates the living daylights out of me. I feel like you are clueless. Perhaps you are done. 5 kids and a big paycheck may have done you in. John, Billick sealed his fate when he stuck with Boller through thick and thin. You might want to instill some tough love on Joe and sit him when he's not performing. Maybe you should call out your O-Line like Zimmer did with a 5-1 team! Defense, Thanks for keeping it respectable. you made lots of plays and turned the ball over for the offense, but they did nothing for you. I honestly see one win on the schedule, and it is a big maybe. Keeping my faith, but it is not easy today.
  22. What players are Kelly and Amanda? Not sure I understand where you are going with this?
  23. Why bring a guy in that can't make the cut after 4 years??? There has to be a load of untapped talent out there somewhere. We'd be better off tapping into that then wasting our time on something we already know the outcome of. It's like we're the Bad News Bears or something. SMH
  24. Did you watch that game? The Cards ran it 35 times for 171 yards and 3 TDs. David Johnson was barely touched on the 2 TDs I saw before I turned the game off.
  25. Coach John, I feel like you're out coaching yourself. This team isn't setting the world on fire offensively. Take the freaking points when you can. You have an ALL WORLD kicker - USE HIM!!! You can't predict how the rest of the game is going to work out. Be smart for crying out loud.
