  1. Won't be hard for them. They're already hypocrites. They'll just pretend like they never said anything and pray that nobody calls them out for it. Plus in the past they usually hide in shame most of the time anyway. I'm a big supporter of Joe. But when has Joe ever been firing on all cylinders throughout the season? He's had moments, but has never EVER been a consistent QB firing on all cylinders throughout the season. I pray for it every year though. Correct, he hasn't. I'd argue you couldn't name a QB in the league that does either for that matter, but that's also irrelevant. The point is that when Joe plays bad, the trolls are out with their "told you so" signs, but when he plays great games, they run and hide like cowards. There's 3-4 consecutive game stretches in every season where we never hear from these folks, and I just want to know why. There are several QBs that are consistently productive, in the regular season. Matt Ryan, Tom Brady, Drew Brees are just a few. The difference with these guys and Joe is that they read defenses better and call better audibles. No one trolls when a team/player is doing well.

  3. The Ravens addressed what they felt was the biggest need in this year's draft. After losing to the Steelers the way they did and going back to our last game in Foxborough. They want to ensure our defense doesn't blow leads in the last few minutes. With that said, there weren't enough picks for the Ravens in this draft to address every need. Can Ozzie get Mangold? If so, that fills a huge hole up front. Would Boldin still be productive if we go out and get him? I think if the Ravens take a flyer on him if the price is right. I just don't want to see Joe constantly dinking and dunking to Pitta for little to no yardage all year.
  4. Ozzie did not draft Humphry because he was the best player available. He even said something in the presser like "we picked the best player at the position" (I'd have to go back and get the exact verbiage). They were clearly looking to bolster the D with their first pick.
  5. No matter what the Ravens do, I think it's going to still be a couple years before we can contend. Too many holes. Although the draft this year really focused on D, how many times do all of a teams drafted players come in and make an impact? Let alone undrafted guys. We better find a few UFAs to fill the biggest gaps we have this year, or we're in real trouble. I think next year the FO will focus heavily on offense, then we'll need a year to see how those picks go. By the 2019 draft we'll be looking for Joe's replacement and whatever holes are still there, which I hope aren't a lot. Just can't feel super positive right now.
  6. Now that I've had a few days to digest our picks, I have decided that the Ravens just had too many holes to fill on both sides of the ball that the best way to address it is with an all in mentality this year on the defensive side. That would forecast a heavy offensive draft next year. I think that might have been the best approach as to the opposite, since the secondary and pass rush were the biggest weaknesses. I still feel like OJ Howard would have been the better pick at 16 though. And with the Humphry's reputation of getting beat deep, I just can't shake that.
  7. I just hope the undrafted class and free agency can bring some depth to the O.
  8. Pretty idiotic post to be honest. We have a grand total of 2 players from bama on our roster including Marlon. everybody wants to throw a fit when we don't draft their guy smh. You still feeling that way after they picked up the flyer on Tim Williams. Look, I'm not saying that isn't a bad place to get talent. But we had OJ Howard on the board at #16. He would have been the right pick. Humphrey is known for getting beat deep. Ozzie had the blinders on, period.
  9. Does any other GM in the NFL have such an infatuation with a college more than Ozzie with Alabama? I'm begging to get tired of it. I feel like he has blinders on.
  10. Corey Davis scares me. The injury could be a blessing though that might allow him to be available at 16. I just hope he doesn't end up like Breshad (IR the first year). Overall both mocks here look good. We need CBs and the draft is deep there. And I am a big fan of the old motto "The game is won or lost in the trenches". So beef up the lines when there is a quality pick available. Go Ravens.
  11. Let's go get those "multiple" championships Joe.
  12. I want to see Brandon back too.
  13. Time to get younger, faster and stronger. Dum didn't live up to the hype in my opinion, but it was fun yelling DOOOOOOOM.
  14. How can a team with the 21st ranked running game have the 9th ranked O-Line? It's like last year when everyone was praising the defense when they never really played against a top tier offense. And when they did, they failed to close out games. Us fans of Baltimore don't need to stats to tell us what our eyes can clearly see. Weak running game, weak pocket for Joe to let plays develop, weak secondary, no returner, weak pass rush.
