  1. Teams will be allowed to trade Comp picks beginning with the 2017 draft. You get half credit.
  2. I will say this, Roethlisberger would have called for the cart. I point this out because the press calls him tough all the time and it's crazy. In my opinion he may be hard to tackle but he's about as tough as wet toilet paper. Tough is staying in a game with a blown knee and not saying anything. Tough is not leaving on a cart and being able to come back. The press should know the difference. I like having a tough quarterback.
  3. Balance is not wanting to run and pass equally but rather, being able to run and pass the ball. I personally hates these articles. They are written like it's just a matter of choice.
  4. 4 and 4, maybe and we lose out on a top 5 pick which means we lose again.
  5. If you ask me, which you didn't but I will say it anyway, John Harbaugh lost this team with that idiotic west coast 10 day trip. That for me was the beginning of the end. We never recovered. It was arrogance. Spend a million dollars, keep the team out west and away from there families just two weeks into the season. From the outside looking in it really appears that Harbaugh is a my way or the highway kind of guy. He ran off every player with a strong personality. He surrounds himself with weak coaches. Kubiak was the exception but Kubiak was not his choice either. He even had a sit down with Steve Smith before he was signed and tell him the type of player he had to be. Based on this, I would expect an undisciplined (rank in top 10 for penalties) and poorly coached (player consistently out of position, no 2 minute offence, poor clock management) team. We are doing nothing well and I do not believe that will change. John Harbaugh needs to take a lesson from Tom Coughlin and admit that he is a big part of the problem.
  6. Bad luck...bad coaching...bad team. In that order??? The year is over. If you think otherwise than I admirer your optimism. I am a Ravens fan for life and this team lacks talent. We need to hit on a few draft picks and it is for that reason that I am fine with losing. I also hate both of our coordinators. Trestmann has no clue how to use double TE's, RB's, or the FB. Did Juice even play today? He just kept calling pass plays to out lame receiving corp (sss excluding even though he dropped a couple too). Pees has no clue...period.
  7. First off, I like John Harbaugh but Ray Lewis and Ed Reed were the heart and soul of the defense. How many Head coaches did Ray Lewis make. Help me out if you want but here is a list of Raven defensive coaches that went on head coaching positions. There was Marvin Lewis, Mike Nolan, Rex Ryan, Jack Del Rio, Jim Schwartz, Mike Smith, Mike Singletary, Chuck Pagano, Mike Pettine... Here is the problem, all of the old guard players are gone and the team appears to lack coaches that inspire great play. Ray always used the term, "going into battle". This team is not battle hardened, they are battle weary. John Harbaugh and his staff were good when the team won. Now we get to see if they are good when the team loses. It is not easy to hold a winning team together but a losing team is a flat our challenge. It will be interesting to watch.
  8. I say "let's play the rookies and see what they have, if nothing else they will get some experience, the team can find out what they have. Let them lose a lot of games, and move up in the draft. Ozzie has not hit on anything in the late 1st and 2nd round the last few years. Maybe that will change if we move up. We appear to have a lot of holes (secondary, receiver, pass rush, ...) and I am afraid that it may take a couple years to address as it is. The more games they win, the longer it may take to bounce back"
  9. he closer to being a bust then he is a #1 or #2 receiver.
  10. 68 months?
  11. Perriman reminds me of an old Ford Pinto. You tap the bumper and it blows up.
  12. I am hoping they beat the crap out of each other. I do not want to see anyone badly hurt but I would not cry if a player or two goes down with a hamstring or a groin. I never like to see concussions or knee injuries but something that could nag at a key player would not come as a disappointment. In the end, I have to pull for NE. I'm looking at this game as a win..win because somebody should lose.
