  1. I will agree with you if you remove "knee brace is" from your statement.
  2. You should be deeply ashamed. Ashemed...Yes...Wrong...No...
  3. That's a crappy thing to say. I agree that it may be a crappy thing to say but what if most of the problems on offense are related to Flacco. Remember, the Ravens floundered behind Kyle Boller for years. I will never have patience like that again for the QB position. I would really like to see what Mallett can do. I can not believe that he can be much worse. So far this season (thru 8 games) he has a whopping 6 TD's which ranks his at 31st. It would be worse but the QB's with fewer TD's have missed games due to injuries.
  4. So what has changed? The offense generated 274 yard of offense with 95 yard coming on the only TD scored by the offense. The Defense scored a TD as did the Special Teams unit. The Ravens Offense is anemic and Flacco is just terrible. I know I should not say this but I was hoping he hurt himself on that slide (if you can call that a slide). I did not want him hurt..hurt. I just wanted to see what Mallett could do.
  5. This team has a lot of problems, lets name them. #1 - the offensive line is in shambles. I believe Stanley has now missed 4 games (Ravens lost all 4), Yanda has missed games, and Wanger has missed games. The players that have not missed games have been terrible. #2 - Flacco has been terrible even when he has time, which is not often. There is no excuse for all the back foot throws. He needs to step up and take ownership of his poor play. #3 - When Flacco gets time and is not terrible, the offense either drops passes or doesn't get separation. They are really missing Steve Smith Sr. which details a whole other problem. When a team is missing a 37 year old receiver than the front office has not done their job. #4 - Pass rush or should I say the lack thereof. I really would not beat on the defense. They kept it close while spending a majority of the time on the field. I would be concerned about speed on defense. They look slow.
  6. Go luck getting the 6...
  7. The only thing that was going to get me to watch this game was Ryan Mallett. It would have been interesting to see if the offense was just as flat with Mallett under center as it is with Flacco.
  8. John...Is that you?
  9. Since Ray Lewis retired in 2013, the ravens have gone 26 and 27 and the Ravens are on their 5th Offensive Coordinator in less than 4 years, Cameron (dismissed 12/10/12), Caldwell (dismissed 1/1/14), Kubiak (left 1/18/15), Trestman (dismissed 10/10/16), and now Mornhenwig. Maybe the problem extends beyond the OC position. Maybe, just maybe, John Harbaugh has no idea what he's doing. In 8 plus years, he still can not manage personnel, the game, or the clock. He is pretty good at doing press conferences and telling us they they need to get better. I wish someone would throw tons of money at me for mediocrity.
  10. It has probably already been said but I will say it again. Having your right handed/footed place kicker line up to the right of center for a field goal is almost as stupid as accepting a penalty and giving the opposing team another shot at a first down. It did not fool anyone. If that was not bad enough, Harbaugh blamed Gilmore for the play not working. What a jerk.
  11. It could just as easily be said that we should be 1-4 or even 0-5.
  12. I don't believe the players don't try to win. Its a lack of coaching. Harbaugh is horrible. completely abandoning the run game when its working, no balance offense whatsoever. keeping a ST coach who constantly gives up big plays and has a penalty on every punk/kick return. passing the ball 90% of the time even tho Joe has no time to do anything before 2 or 3 guys are in his face. theres things good coaches do to neutralize that. like run the ball so defensive line cant just sprint to the qb, like leave RBs in to block or chip with a TE, or run a couple draws or screens. Harbaugh does nothing! he just continues to throw throw throw and expect Joe to make something happen when he cant even drop back before there is 2 guys running after him. Not to mention his in-game decisions that have cost us the last 2 games. Its coaching! the talent is there, its up to the head coach to do the rest PERIOD! How about a screen? It's terrible. The opposing defense is in attack mode and Trestman does not even think to set up a screen pass. The play calling is atrocious. I do not know how these guys continue to get jobs. Maybe they just choke on gameday.
  13. I'm not sure the calls for heads are really calls for heads today. I think history has demonstrated that little good comes from in-season changes. The Ravens were extremely lucky (in many ways) to win a super bowl after firing their OC but I think I am not alone when I say, that there should be some coaching vacancy's if this team continues to digress. The offense under Harbaugh has ranked at 18th (based on yards, over his tenure) while this is not at all good, the fact that they are currently worse than that should at least throw a cloud over his future.
  14. Harbaugh is part of the problem. Does not know offense. Does not know defense. Hell, he's a Special Teams coach but he does not seem to know special teams. He make bad decisions (why pay Tucker all that money to have him throw passes? Then there was last weeks stupid decision to accept the penalty when your defense held after a turnover). Let's continue, he can not manage the clock, he's terrible at challenges, he does not make good choices when it comes to coaches, and he does not get the most out of his players. To me, that makes him a terrible head coach. This is his 9th year with the team. It may be time but lets say we keep him and he brings in another [ profanity deleted] Offensive Coordinator. Then what? Flacco will have his 5th OC in 6 years and the Ravens will continue to disappoint.
  15. The only reason Kubiak came to Baltimore was because of Harbaugh - Kubiak said that. You're just making stuff up at this point..... You are dead wrong. Kubiak was a front office hire, and forced on Harbs. That was absolutely NOT his call. I read it the same way. Harbaugh and Kubiak put a big smiley face on it after the fact but it really appeared to be a front office deal.
