Good win, but could Harbaugh please stop trying to run on fourth down when it's obvious that we're not running that well to begin with?
Proud of our D. Adjusted very well and shut em down for 3 quarters and that was without Doom.
Rookies are just going to get better.

Not just that but don't forget we hired a new db coach in Leslie Frazier. As good as the d line was, the secondary to me was the most surprising.
The good:
Well worth waiting for after all these months.
Webble looks good at safety and a definite improvement from last season.
Perriman's catch: beauuuuutiful.
On defense, players were swarming to the ball like old times.
Great pass rush.
The bad:
Is it me, or does it seem like once a team adjusts to our scheme, be it offense or defense, we have a difficult time readjusting?
Offense looked a lot like last year's. Mostly quick drop off passes and not much gain.
Hester could have stayed in end zone for touch back to 25Yrd line twice, but instead decided to bring it out for less yards. This was one of Jacoby's problems his last year with us.
All in all an exciting game and a win.
Get home from church around eleven o'clock.
Remind my family for the hundredth time that the game is on today and to not disturb me.
Put on Ravens shirt.
Probably order Dominos. Thinking maybe some honey barbecue wings this time around, or bacon pineapple pizza.
Again remind family.
Get out of the way whatever wife wants done before game time.
Get up occasionally to yell at either ref or Harbaugh.
Try not to cuss.
Sit down for a 1/2 minute before getting up to yell again.
Try to remember that I love my wife when she forgets it's game day and calls me for something.
Also, my middle son who is autistic likes to root for whoever the opposing team might be just to get under my skin.
For me it's more about what Treastman will do THIS season, especially with all the weapons he has at his disposal. I don't think that last season was a good indicator of his ability as an oc with all the injuries we suffered. Also, the only way Treastman leaves is if he's hired as a head coach elsewhere.

Actually somebody did Win. And guess who it was?
Yep, this guy.
Just received confirmation. Absolutely cannot contain my excitement right now. Honestly didn't think I had a chance after the Forsett fiasco but obviously that threw everybody off.
Congrats.
Cut Butler, but kept Mathews. Both looked good but I think Butler stole the show.
Has Allen been used as a returner yet? I can't recall, but if not I think he should be given a try. If he works out well enough it would not only give us a returner, but an excuse to have more depth at the RB position in case of injury.
Good:
Our second string defense holds the NO's first string offense to 6 points.
We sweep the preseason.
Perriman looks good and can't wait to see his speed with Joe throwing the ball.
We have even more speed with Chris Moore who was able to get open consistently.
We have more weapons now than last season when we were picked to go to the superbowl.
Judon looks like a force to be reckoned with.
Bad:
Stupid penalties.

I'm sorry, Larry who?

Thank's, now I know.
I think Weddle might have had a lot to do with Elam's turnaround. Sometimes all it takes is the right person to lift you back up. I also think that maybe Elam was part of the reason for signing Weddle. Just a guess. Btw: People are talking about Stanley missing cut blocks, but weren't they outlawed this season? I dunno.
Loved the body slam tackle by Elam.
Judon is a beast and I hope a keeper.
Feeling a lot better about the running game with Stanley Dixon and West making their presence felt.
Interesting to see who gets the back up qb spot.
Liked what I saw in Canady for first time on field.
What happened to Wallace? Was he ever targeted? Don't recall.
Forssett should be worried.
Camp makes the team even if it's only on K/R and P/R duties.
Didn't realize Joe wasn't fully healed so have to take back my previous post. Keep him on the bench. Just hope he's ready come September because no matter how good we look, we still need our quarterback. If he's not 100% healthy, then what percent is he?
Steve Smith and Mike Wallace on the same field at the same time with Joe once again throwing the ball. Somebody pinch me.
With the number of RBs we have, why not try Buck as a returner. I would think that with his vision and elusiveness he'd be perfect. Then if Dixon, Forsette or West go down, we still have a back up back if needed.

Thanks, I'd forgotten the significance of their suspensions.
Anyone else concerned about Pitta's injury? You can stop laughing now. My point is that even though it's only a finger, he still needs to be out on the playing field competing against opposing teams to see how well his hip holds up. I don't see how we're going to keep all these TEs, but it would help in deciding who stays or goes if we could make a true evaluation of Pitta before the regular season begins. Otherwise we could make the mistake of cutting someone such as Waller or Boyle who would be picked up, only to find out later that Pitta actually won't be able to play. For what it's worth, I think he's the best TE we have.
Off topic: Just want to say thank you to all the mods and posters who've contributed to these boards and helped keep me somewhat sane during the off season. FOOTBALL'S BACK BABY!!!!!
Flacco looks healthy again. The problem now is getting him back on the field under playing conditions. Remember, because of his injury he's missed more time than usual including otas. So now there's more rust than usual. I know we've seen a lot of people go down due to injuries, but football players gotta be prepared not only physically but also mentally to play the new season. So put him out on the field.
Just a thought, but since it's mostly rookies who seem to be getting the most banged up from our workouts and training; that maybe we should tweak it a bit for them. You know, not expect so much, bring em into the physical curriculum more slowly. Again, just a thought.
LOL! Had to pull myself away from the KC video. This after watching it bout ten times. Hilarious.
A few games may be lost due to rookie mistakes, especially on the defensive side, but afterward I think we go on a tear and wind up 10 - 6, take the NFC north and make the playoffs. Then anything's possible
Flacco breaks Manning's single season td record with 53. Just think how frustrated all the Flacco bashers from the media will be.

Stop selling alcoholic beverages, or limit people to only one. The real fans will still come to the games and the idiots will stay home.
