  1. I had been under the impression that Perriman had surgery of some kind. A bit disappointed actually, thinking surgery may have fixed the problem maybe for good once healed. Now I'm back to thinking that this may be a reoccurring injury. Then again, we have enough injuries on this team to be concerned about already.
  2. Joe needs to put the ball up where Waller can reach over the db and bring it in. I know we're talking WRs but did Forsette seem a lot quicker when he attacked the line of scrimmage last game?
  3. From previous post: Could be that the FO is worried that the injury bug that happened to the secondary last year will happen again, but who's to say that it can't happen to another position, like say WR. Called it.
  4. Would not only like to see a win, but one with a lot better point spread. Maybe build up some more confidence.
  5. I'm not so sure the raven fan had done anything wrong, but I'm pretty sure he didn't deserve getting hit with a beer can. Alcohol sometimes makes idiots out of people, or maybe bigger idiots than they usually are. I stated before in another post how a couple of twenty somethings tried to start a fight with my dad who was close to seventy. Real brave huh? I would love to see management stop the selling of alcohol but that will never happen.
  6. I hope this means Harbaugh will be using Waller more. For pete's sake do something with this guy besides STs.
  7. I still wouldn't call him a bust. Maybe for this season, but he still has a lotta football years ahead with this team. Hopefully.
  8. Had arthroscopic on my knee back when I was in my mid twenties. Small tear. Out for abouts 2 months. Never had a problem since.
  9. Okay, okay, Harbaugh's the coach. Stupid, stupid, stupid! Fighting a cold. Not thinking straight.
  10. I said between the of and coaching staff. Not Oz and Harbaugh. The front office is allways looking for good results. Especially when they're used to getting them in the past. I doubt that they will find fault with the players as much with the coaching. Something has to done to save this season. And yes, maybe turmoil was too strong.
  11. More than likely you're right, but when you think about it, this current organization has never faced this kind of situation. They've almost always been to the playoffs, never had a 1st round pick come up lame for so long, and never been 0-3. Actually it was Pees I was thinking of when I posted before. On second thought; I think Ozzie would more or less have to let somebody go in order to keep the team from imploding. Hope it doesn't get that far. Unless of course it is Pees.
  12. If Perriman's out for the year or worse and we go 0-4, then look for some inner turmoil between the front office and coaching staff. I'm not saying it will happen for sure. I hope not, because then that may transfer over into the locker room. So unless there are some really good options to get us back on the winning track, someone's getting canned. Believe it or not, I'm still optimistic that he'll be back. Just a matter of when.
  13. I think I like watching Crockett more than any other player. Watching him run through and over defenders. Can you say wrecking machine.
  14. What concerns me more is after he returns to the playing field, will this injury be something that may just pop up from time to time during his entire career. How reliable is he going to be? Let's hope this is the only time and when he heals, that's the last time we hear about this and any other injury.
  15. It was nice to see Boyle and Williams making some plays as well as Camp. Hopefully we'll start spreading it out more. Aiken needs to get open. At least it got to be entertaining. Thought for a while there it was going to turn out being a slaughter. Would like to try Waller at db; can't be much worse. Fire Pees.
  16. Great post. Also, I think Pees is gone before the season's half done. JMO.
  17. Pees is feeling the pressure. Ozzie might be getting ready to make a move, but for who?
  18. I understand all the, if only we had played better and done this instead of that and I'm not trying to disagree, but what really annoys me has been the lack of challenge flags near the end of the games. Pass interference should have been called in the Denver game because the defender didn't turn around to look for the ball and the holding call should have at least been challenged, although I think Hill probably did cough the ball up to Oakland. Should have just went down himself. As far as Pees is concerned; I tried to give the benefit of the doubt after how the defense played against Denver, but that seems to have been a fluke. Colts, Seahawks and Eagles are all 0-2, but still have hope. There's still hope for Ravens too.
  19. My dad and I went to see one of the early games when Vinny and Jackson were playing. I remember we left early because it looked like a blowout and wanted to beat the crowd. Yeah, they came back and won of course. On the way out my dad who was a bit up in age stumbled into some guys beer and knocked it over. He and his young buddies wanted to take on my dad who was pushing seventy at the time. Thought I was going to have my hands full but nothing came out of it. Good thing, I really don't like getting hurt. Do wish they would cut the alcohol from the stadium though. People can be real idiots.
  20. Joe Flacco = Great quarterback = Johnny Unitas Ray Lewis = Great general
  21. I was one of the people who were upset with Pees. It just seemed odd that so many often the dbs were playing way off the receivers. With that said, this is a new year. No sense looking into the past and even though it's only been one game, this defense looks scary good. Excellent play calling. Shame about Suggs though.
  22. On a good note, we adjusted very well in the 2nd half. Just couldn't get it in the end zone, but also went up against a great secondary. Even better, kept Peyton from getting a touchdown. Even if he is getting older, I think that says a lot.
  23. Maybe, but I think if Allen could have broke for close to a 1st down and brought us inside the ten, it would have made Denver try to guess what was coming next. But instead they pretty much knew we were going to pass.
  24. I meant running it in.
