I hope that whatever team Jack lands with that he has a long and productive career, whether it be with the Ravens or whoever. However, this article does nothing to change my mind that it would be best to give him a pass. For one thing, it was already pretty obvious that all the chatter about his knee being that bad might have been planted by another team or teams, but so what? That doesn't negate the fact that there is still a risk of him either reinjuring it, having difficulty playing to his potential, or worst not being able to take the field period. Didn't La Canfora say that he spoke to different execs with different opinions? Does this mean that the ones who might still be concerned with the injury are automatically wrong? Also, why isn't this so called nefarious team being called out if La Canfora is so certain that they weren't on the up and up with their info? As far as Jack himself is concerned, of course you want what's best, but there's also the good of the team that takes him too. Eighteen months, what about further down the road? Shouldn't we be more concerned with four to five years and even beyond that? Should he be the pick, then I will be a fan and cheer accordingly. If he goes to another team, it's pretty much a catch 22: Worst case scenario: Jack stays healthy and becomes a pain in the Raven's side for years to come. Best case scenario (Jack's sake) Jack stays healthy and becomes a pain in the Raven's side for years to come. Wish him the best either way.
