  1. If this is an example of Trestman's offense; I'm scared. I think we should have at least tried running a few times.
  2. Went for the pass too often once we were inside the twenty. Still encouraged with this defense. Gotta get these guys healthy again.
  3. If that's the case then maybe Harbaugh will give Waller a chance in the 2nd half.
  4. Oline seems to be sleeping. Joe has no time to make reads. Where are our TEs? Where's Campanaro? D looks great though.
  5. Saw that. Analyst didn't even complain about it. What's gotta happen before this guy gets penalized, fined or suspended?
  6. Actually, after giving it some thought I still have to disagree. This doesn't make them look good. For that, they have to do their jobs which they didn't do. The coach isn't going to say good job. He's going to put in someone who will. Again, maybe I'm being dense, but thanks for trying. Good luck to us.
  7. Okay, thanks.
  8. To be honest, with all of the question marks concerning the game; the biggest one to me is how bias will the officiating be?
  9. Probably just me being dense.
  10. How to watch Ravens Broncos: With good food, good friends and maybe some antacids.
  11. If you're having to go from your 1 to your 3 read, then they're obviously being covered, or not in position; again, chemistry. In other words, The QB and the receiver have to be doing their job. If Rothlisberger is being mobile, then it's a good indication that (not always) his oline is breaking down. I don't think that he makes them look good as much as saving their butts from being embarrassed if he completes a pass.
  12. I might agree with the receiver part, but how exactly does a QB make an Oline look good? I mean isn't it the other way around? Isn't it the Oline's job to give the QB time to take apart the Defense, and as far as receivers go, haven't we been saying that Joe needs a #1 who will go after the ball? Hasn't SSS made a huge difference? As disappointing as Dalton has been for the Bengals; how much worse would he be without A.J Green? Not saying you're wrong. Just saying I don't get the logic. Thinking it's more about chemistry.
  13. Just a thought, but wouldn't 7 TDs from Joe be super sweet? Just a thought.
  14. YUP.
  15. What would we do with Boyle? Would he be able to remain on the 53 man roster? If he went on the PS, would he be subject to being picked up by another team? If that's the case then how would we feel if Pitta got hurt yet again, plus we lose Boyle?
  16. Hats off to Brandon Marshall for at least trying.
  17. As soon as I saw Kraft smiling on the field last night, I changed the channel. The only thing more disgusting than watching an organization celebrate a championship that they knowingly didn't deserve is knowing that a better team could and should have won instead. Whether it was the Ravens or someone else. As far as Denver goes; I think we go mostly with our TEs, SSS and Camp with short to intermediate passes. Screens to Buck, maybe a couple of bombs to Marlon and Waller and a multitude of sacks on Manning. 'Mr. Manning, meet Mr. Davis.' Ravens 30 Broncos 21
  18. Perhaps thinking too hard about too many things at one time.
  19. What bothered me the most about Jacoby last year wasn't so much the drops as much as the bad decision making. Taking the ball out of the end zone and not getting to at least the twenty seemed to happen too many times. If Jackson can keep a hold of the ball then perhaps this is a good move. Especially if it keeps Camp out as PR and or KR but I am going to miss not having Brown as a possible fill in or future wide receiver for this team.
  20. Could be that the FO is worried that the injury bug that happened to the secondary last year will happen again, but who's to say that it can't happen to another position, like say WR.
  21. To each his own opinion and there are some on this board who may have legitimate concerns. There are a lot of factors to consider just like any other game. Will Denver's wideouts be too good for our secondary to handle. Will our Dline be able to put pressure on Peyton, will Suggs be able to leapfrog over the entire offensive line and sack Peyton (that would be cool). If we win, great, and if we lose fine. However, I don't think that just having a bad feeling is enough to cause me to give up on my team, whether it's one game, the season or all together. Considering that there isn't any significant reason to think that we will definetly lose this game, then I would rather believe that we win. Flacco isn't injured, our TES look awesome most of our starters are playing, and it's a new season. There's no reason not to be positive. I'd rather take the glass is half full than the WE'RE ALL DOOOOOOOMED approach, but to each there own.
  22. Not to mention the added frustration of losing their first game of the season at home. BWAHAHA!!!
  23. From what posters have stated about Peyton having trouble with Kubiak's offense and the fact that Peyton is used to calling the plays himself, I'm starting to think that there is, and will remain a lack of chemistry within the team. If true then I think that will greatly help our chances. I believe a team with little chemistry will more than likely have a losing season regardless of the talent they might have. JMO. Then again I might be wrong.
  24. If Elway knows by now that Peyton likes to run his own offense, but also knows that Kubiak is the same way, then why did he hire Kubiak? My first prediction on the boards: Our D is gonna scare the hell out of Peyton. (I know it's not as daring as Climatic's scoring more points theory, but I'm sticking to it.)
