Wasn't a big fan of Castillo, the run game was awful under his tenure.
Such an overrated defense. Terrible, terrible. Idk if you put the blame on the play calling or the defensive players. Suggs allowed several big plays. The pass rush was NON EXISTENT.

Flacco and Harbs garbage? The defense Just had to make a stop, dean pees called zone plays, and it lost the game for us
CJ is the man, that's 4 ints for the season.
24 minutes ago, ravens rule said:Jerraud Powers has been an underrated signing imo. It keeps Wright on the bench where he belongs.
In my opinion, Powers hasn't played very well. He's allowed some big plays and TDs. But he is definitely an upgrade over Wright.
I think with the return of Doom, we might just see an extra sack or 2 on the stat sheets every game. Even if he can't finish and get the sack he has been pretty good with causing pressure. Acquiring another linebacker will only help the rotation.
Just now, ratedr said:That 4-0 division record is why we might make the playoffs. But good lord if we do make it we'll make a quick exit with this pathetic offense. The defense is unclutch as usual but the offense can't even score 20 points.
A lot of people are counting on Playoff Joe. Let's hope he shows up during the playoffs, if we make it.
I think the offense could actually compete if we had a Line. I just think the oline is messing with the rest of the game plan. I think it might be time for Castillo to leave. He had ONE good season, and that's when Kubiak was the implementing his own zone blocking scheme. Love his motivational skills, and assume that might be why he has been kept here so long but we have had some major oline trouble the past couple years with him here.
Got to get jimmy back and continue improving on DLine. We might just be able to ride out the season with Special teams and the Defense.

It is time to change the chemistry of this team. Mallett brings a different wrinkle to the offense and may be just the spark to ignite the offense. Mallett is strong armed and healthy. Ravens must give Mallett a shot or suffer the consequences of ineptitude. Ravens' chemistry is dependent on leadership. They are desperate for leadership. Do not allow another week to pass without Mallett leading this team forward. It is not about Joe's injury; it is about chemistry - a change is required. Mallett will help the Ravens regain their signature.
O my gawd what is this crap.

Uhh yes? A blitz can put linebackers out of position and open up plays. If Flacco doesn't think he'll have time to throw to a receiver that is the best decision.
1 hour ago, rmw10 said:Again, without me reading through the thread as I'm sure it's been discussed, but Za'Darius Smith was absolutely awful today. We've seen the deficiencies in all facets of the game all year, but he was so bad at setting the edge. Way too many plays that he had no business being inside, but he was there. He's been such a disappointment this year.
I had high hopes for Smith. He's big, uses his hands well. He is just too slow. I think he does well against the run, but he is too slow to keep out there on 3rd downs. To be honest I don't know how he played this game, I was to irritated to pay attention to any specific player. But If you watch his past games, he beats his blockers, he just can't finish the play.
There is a reason the CBs plays a little off. You guys need to read this article, http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000562963/article/aqib-talib-among-dbs-using-potent-technique-to-generate-picks
We just don't have the talent to execute. Young is a promising CB, but he was playing out of position on the outside and he was going against 6'0 receivers. This team needs to do a better job at finding depth and playmakers. The Cowboys secondary was injured, and they did a good job nullifying the receivers. We have to do a better job drafting.

Best news all day
Just now, Afchris2006 said:How do you expect town with 136 yards in penalties????? The coach has lost his authority over the team!!!!!!!!
Get out of here, have you seen some of these stupid penalties. We aren't a big household name So we are going to get penalized when we play popular teams.
7 minutes ago, Wildabeast88 said:Have you watched this D since Pees has been there that is what he does. It isn't the CBs it's the DC
And it can work, some of the best defenses use this stratagy. We don't have a pass rush, or playmakers, and we sure as hell don't have any emotion. They made some big plays even when we did press. This team sucks. I think the coaching(maybe not pees) but as a whole has kept this team together. Pees isn't the problem, if you think he is the reason this defense sucks you are lying to yourself. I've seen pees call some terrible plays. But I've also seen him call a couple series flawlessly. He isn't the main problem.
2 minutes ago, Wildabeast88 said:Hard to be physical and press when Pees wants them to play 10 yards off.
You can't put a 5'8 receiver in press against 6'0 + receivers. There is a reason he has it like that. Cornerbacks like talib who use this are able to read and react faster. Our corners just make him look stupid.
Just now, 443hurricane said:Nothing he can do.. Magically make a player come our on roster taller than 5'11
Hahah
Just now, kennethyamini1989 said:IDK why people think this D is special..they arent. Yall act like the Giants didnt carve up this D..or the Raiders didnt carve up this D lol.
We were fooled, I think a lot of us knew in the back our head though, this defense is incomplete and lacks, emotion, and playmakers.
Just now, Militant X 1 said:Where is the physicality of our CB's to press and jam up receivers man? All of this cushion mess is trash!
Wright has played with 0 energy, he walks around, doesn't want to tackle or hit anyone. Ozzie's biggest mistake of the offseason was giving this dude money.
1 minute ago, JO_75 said:Cole Beasley...... tired of letting third string guys do damage against our defense.
I can't believe it either, he is not special. People want to say he plays similar to Edleman, I disagree completely.
Just now, The Mom Gene said:Dude... he has said... he loves Joe.
I was talking about how he feels about the The team in general, has to be frustrating. I personally don't think the problem on offense is Joe, it's just about everything else.
I read that Steve smith was really hard on cam when he made mistakes, it's one reason they let him go. I can only imagine what he think about here lol.
Can't even put all the blame on flacco, where is his run game? If I'm calling the defense against him I'm calling pass every time. This team has never been good at producing Wrs. I can't remember the last time we had a wr that could constantly get open. Wallace isn't playing bad but he isn't a WR that can get open consistently.

Connor Barwin from Eagles, he's 30, coming off a down year playing in a 4-3. If eagles release him I wouldn't mind picking him up. Not a bad pass rusher in a 3-4.
JC Tretter from Packers, move well for a Center and is a good run blocker.
Tony Jefferson at SS, he was one of the best run defenders on the cardinals and held up well on coverage. At 24 years old this could be a great pick up.
