  1. Connor Barwin from Eagles, he's 30, coming off a down year playing in a 4-3. If eagles release him I wouldn't mind picking him up. Not a bad pass rusher in a 3-4.

JC Tretter from Packers, move well for a Center and is a good run blocker.

Tony Jefferson at SS, he was one of the best run defenders on the cardinals and held up well on coverage. At 24 years old this could be a great pick up.

  2. I think the offense could actually compete if we had a Line. I just think the oline is messing with the rest of the game plan. I think it might be time for Castillo to leave. He had ONE good season, and that's when Kubiak was the implementing his own zone blocking scheme. Love his motivational skills, and assume that might be why he has been kept here so long but we have had some major oline trouble the past couple years with him here.

Ryan Mallett was drafted by the New England Patriots in 2011, they know something about the importance of quarterback chemistry on the entire team's motivation.  It is time to change the chemistry of this team.  Mallett brings a different wrinkle to the offense and may be just the spark to ignite the offense.  Mallett is strong armed and healthy. Ravens must give Mallett a shot or suffer the consequences of ineptitude. Ravens' chemistry is dependent on leadership.  They are desperate for leadership.  Do not allow another week to pass without Mallett leading this team forward.  It is not about Joe's injury; it is about chemistry - a change is required.  Mallett will help the Ravens regain their signature.

O my gawd what is this crap.

Again, without me reading through the thread as I'm sure it's been discussed, but Za'Darius Smith was absolutely awful today.  We've seen the deficiencies in all facets of the game all year, but he was so bad at setting the edge.  Way too many plays that he had no business being inside, but he was there.  He's been such a disappointment this year.

I had high hopes for Smith. He's big, uses his hands well. He is just too slow. I think he does well against the run, but he is too slow to keep out there on 3rd downs. To be honest I don't know how he played this game, I was to irritated to pay attention to any specific player. But If you watch his past games, he beats his blockers, he just can't finish the play.

  5. There is a reason the CBs plays a little off. You guys need to read this article, http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000562963/article/aqib-talib-among-dbs-using-potent-technique-to-generate-picks

We just don't have the talent to execute. Young is a promising CB, but he was playing out of position on the outside and he was going against 6'0 receivers. This team needs to do a better job at finding depth and playmakers. The Cowboys secondary was injured, and they did a good job nullifying the receivers. We have to do a better job drafting.

Have you watched this D since Pees has been there that is what he does. It isn't the CBs it's the DC

And it can work, some of the best defenses use this stratagy. We don't have a pass rush, or playmakers, and we sure as hell don't have any emotion. They made some big plays even when we did press. This team sucks. I think the coaching(maybe not pees) but as a whole has kept this team together. Pees isn't the problem, if you think he is the reason this defense sucks you are lying to yourself. I've seen pees call some terrible plays. But I've also seen him call a couple series flawlessly. He isn't the main problem.
