  3. Forgive me if i have made a mistake. Posted this info in the ozzie topic, but saw that the people were discussing the front offices choices in this topic. Heres a list i put together of potential players that the Raven's fromt office could have drafted with our draft selections in the 2013 and 2014 drafts.

  6. I Put together a list of players that were picked after our selections in our last 2 draft. This should give everyone a better look at how our front office has been drafting.
  7. "Off man coverage" looks considerably more useful with a competent pass rush.
  8. NFL.com just posted an article on a cornerback technique that is used by Some of NFL's most talented corners. The CB plays 8-10 yards off the WR and watches the QB dropback as he keeps an eye on his WR, and makes a decision based on how many steps the QB takes. This Technique helps to neutralize the short passing game and gives the CB a better chance of intercepting passes. I think pees teaches this technique, as a lot of people on here (Including myself) have questioned the cornerbacks playing 5+ yards off the reciever. I'll have to admit i was wrong, players just arent excuting the plays. Heres the link if anyones interested in giving the article a look: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000562963/article/aqib-talib-among-dbs-using-potent-technique-to-generate-picks
  9. Eager to see what Ozzie can do with a top 5 pick.
  10. ... Why are people complaining about this move? The chances of us getting a crazy, good center next year aren't really high. He is decent depth, can play efficiently in a zone block scheme when clicking, and i do believe he can play guard IF necessary. WHY not keep him around, for ONE more year?
  11. Forums are poppin haha, just playing. Honestly been looking at the ravens coaching roster to see who could replace the DC position. How does everyone feel about Don Martindale(LB Coach)? We might just go with someone out of the orginization. I wouldn't be surprised if we waited till the offseason for options.
  12. I watch a good bit of local highschool football and I haven't seen highschool level cornerbacks fall nearly as much. Webb embarrasses himself atleast once a game.
  13. I went out to grab a bite to eat in the middle of 3rd quarter, thinking i'd come back with a ravens W and a bengals L. I litterally came back to a nightmare. Was excited to talk up the team on forums.
  14. You can create a lot of exotic plays with a 3-4 defense. Pees is pretty conservative for the most part. I can say for myself, I prefer a more aggressive style of play calling in a 3-4, not just rushing 3 or 4 . Safety blitzes with kendrick lewis would be nice, how about more Middle LB blitz packages, showing blitz on conservative plays also helps. In the bengals game i saw Andy Dalton audible to a different play, after clearly reading the blitz and coverage, which i believe resulted in a TD or big gain. Why is there no deception? I honestly believe our 3-4 defensive in our hybrid scheme works well with the right play calling. I personally saw a lot of good calls in the second half of the steelers game.
  15. Speaking of Marqise Lee, he is out for week 5.
  16. I think the steeler game was a well needed confidence booster. The Defense did let Bell run for 100+ yards but i think the gameplan was to shutdown Brown(which they did). At one point it looked like another lost game but we ended up seeing a couple impressive plays from Kamar and Waller to keep us in the game. Bottom line if our OLine plays more consistantly, opens up the run game, i think our whole team will benefit and play with more confidence. Has to start in the trenches.
  17. With Steve Smith likely resting this game, we should get a pretty good look at Marlon and Waller. Would be surprised if neither caught a touchdown. Crocket Gilmore is out as well. Hope to see a touchdown from both the Wr and TE groups.
  18. With joe haden still recovering from injuries and tashaun Gipson(free safety) out with an ankle injury. I expect joe to take more chances down the field.
  19. Go back and watch the past couple games, you can see that Marlon gets open. Idk why the rapport between Flacco and the recievers has been so inconsistent.
  20. Haven't seen anyone mention Smith Sr?
  21. A lot of trade rumors floating around. Ozzie must be busy on the phones.
  22. Jags cut Tandon doss, wasn't a bad returner.
  23. Had a 9 interception year in 2012, 4 in 13.
