  1. anyone else read that we'll be transitioning to a more traditional 4-3? I think defensive end is a must, if these reports are true.
  2. Always been a fan of Webb, I just don't think he can be relied on as a starter anymore. Like someone stated above, I can't see him staying healthy if he is tackling with a full head of steam every other couple of plays. I would rather have weddle at free safety and sign Donte Whitner to play in the box. Whitner plays, and presents himself like a Raven. Would be a good pick up.
  3. Josh Norman, Eric Weddle, and Jimmy Smith would be a terrifying secondary.
  4. Not sold on Floyd as a full time 3-4 OLB. I would rather play him in the middle, or outside in nickle. Can't deny his athleticism, or football IQ though. I project him being a better pro than Dion Jordan and Mingo.
  5. I think Juszczyk is the new breed of FB. He's a very versatile athlete, i don't think we use him to his full capabilities, but that could be because we haven't had a deep threat.
  6. Fooled me. Last time I look at a SBnation/BaltimoreBeatdown rumor.
  7. Just read, Joey Bosa intends to holdout if drafted by Ravens, because of his relationship with Jim harbaugh. The most ridiculous thing I've read all off season.
  8. Since the Browns just signed RG3, I can't see them taking another QB in the first unless they are fully committed to rebuilding. Let's just hope Cowboys take a QB. Would hate to settle with Stanley. Looks like Hargreaves and Elliot will be BPA. Can't see Buckner, jack, or Bosa dropping to us.
  9. Actually this was just posted not too long ago on nfl.com, lists the most overrated offesive players in this years draft. "Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame: Stanley certainly possesses the athleticism and size to be a starting tackle in the NFL for years, and possibly a very good one. But comparisons to Hall of Famer Walter Jones and others are patently unfair. Sure, Stanley could end up a top-six pick like Jones. He has great length (35 5/8-inch arms, 84 1/4-inch wingspan) and flashed brilliance on the edge for the Irish. Remember that Eugene Monroe and D'Brickashaw Ferguson were similarly ranked coming out of college, and I'd expect Stanley to have a career somewhere between those two veterans." 10. I feel like the FO has been hinting at Ravens going big this offseason. I just can't see us picking a tackle at 6 who has an issue on run blocking and getting to the second level with intensity. If Tunsil, Ramsay, Bosa, Jack, and Buckner are gone, we will probably be trading back. harbuagh wants instant coffee, and we're going to get someone who can compete day 1 and make a difference.
  11. Jake Lampman(WR) out of Ferris State just had his pro day. Never heard of him until today. Weighed in at 200lbs, 5-11 1/4. Ran a 4.47 40, a 37 inch vertical, the 3 cone drill in 6.76, and benched a whopping 27 reps! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kYmPcognRw4
  12. Franchise tag on KO would have been foolish, who's to say we would have got a deal done if he was franchised tagged. I think tagging tucker with the franchise tag was smart and stopped any thoughts of tucker getting a outrageous payday. I also feel like everyone has forgotten how unreliable KO has been in the past. I wont be surprised if he misses a couple games if not a majority of the season next year.
  13. Hoping Perriman is out working on his routes as we speak. We really need him do something big this year. I think Wallace will fit right in with this offense. Him and Smith Sr. will be talking a lot of trash and scoring TDs
  14. Hoping Webb can turn his career around at Fs.
  15. Very disappointing, he had a chance to develop nicely here.
  16. Ozzie doing what Ozzie does best.
  17. I can only imagine those days.
  18. Thanks, I've just seen several websites state that it's a possibility and I just can't see it. I've been very impressed with how he's played and carried himself since joining the organization.
  19. Couldn't relate with the steelers growing up, happened to be flipping through channels and came across a Ravens game, first thing I thought was how cool the uniforms were, then out of no where I see this player( Of course Ed reed) Pick off a pass, juke out a couple of people and run it down the field For a good bit of yards. Hadn't seen anything like it, till then. Influenced me to try out football in school, and I had a really good time.
  20. Might be a little off from the current discussion. But I've seen reports of Hill possibly being released to make room for weddle. I thought he was one of our best defensive players, why are people even considering it an option?
  21. We might be able to get Noah spence in the second round.
  22. I think Wallace would be dumb not to atleast put some serious thought into signing with the Ravens. Hell, if Perriman gets hurt again we wouldn't have to sign a no name deep threat in the middle of the season. Hope Ozzie and Co can influence him to sign.
  23. This is turning out to be an interesting offseason.
  24. Ozzie would need a Christmas miracle for tunsil to drop to us. I think his combine locks him in at #1. One of the most athletic tackles I've seen coming Out of college
  25. I find myself to be a fairly postive man, but also a realist. Without a nucleus of experienced, battle tested players, and leadership on the field, it's hard to upset really good teams. Our defense during the superbowl run was mediocre(in my opinion), what made it work though was a lot of the players on that defense played with tenacity, grit, and BELIEVED in the bend but not break mentality. Hope the 49ers loss sunk in and lit a fire underneath this team.
