  1. "They should ignore Smith when penciling in their wide receiver plans for 2016" - and probably Perriman too. Time to change the WR scouting personnel/system? Were Diggs and Austin playing way too far from Baltimore to be properly evaluated?
  2. We should win next game. But wouldn't be surpised - ouch - if we lost by 20.
  3. I would change the WR scouts. Not only we hardly draft a WR worth to play in the NFL, but didn't they watch Stefon Diggs for 3 years in M&T Stadium or wherebouts, and then told Ozzie he wasn't worth a 5th round pick?
  4. Why do the playcallers forget - regularly at some point in the game - that we have TEs on the field?
  5. Put Urschel in. We need some smarts. And someone who feels like playing too.
  6. Are the DBs we have had or recently signed any better than Melvin? Gift the Patriots???
  7. I guess in the preseason I, or a friend of mine, said that we have only 1 QB, 1RB, 1WR, and maybe 1 TE. That's proven too true, and the offense too shallow - specially when 3 of those are banged up. And let's not even talk about the secondary - they were torched in the preseason, and they'll be torched all season long. If our 4 (5? if ever Perriman shows up???) playmakers score 40 points we may add other wins.
  8. Crazy as it may sound, I'd like to see Crockett Gillmore as punt returner: smart, sure-handed, and somewhat hard to stop if he gets going...
  9. Alshon Jeffery has a hamstring injury. Maybe now we'll trade for him! [i know, that's not funny]
  10. Perriman = Kindle? Please, no.
  11. Come on. This whole thing is clearly a well designed scheme so that we can be the first 0 and 3 team to make the SuperBowl in NFL history!
  12. We might draft Fournette next year, if he declares.
  13. Eisenberg is perfectly right - and the Ravens must listen. Yesterday, in the Rugby World Cup [great games by the way - if anyone wants to see really complete athletes] South Africa was a 43-point favorite against Japan. And Japan won 34-32.
  14. We don't need the offense to win it. It would be enough they don't turn it over to lose it. Defense will take care of business, and score the few points we need.
  15. If our O-line plays like in Denver, it's not going to be fun.
  16. Now let's see if the Browns pick up Renner. He's way better than the QBs they have.
  17. What I fear is that, against this Peyton Manning, both the Steelers and the Bengals will pick up a win.
  18. I really liked our #45 in the preseason.
  19. T-Sizzle, we love you more and more. Get well.
  20. Wait and see - Perriman still has to kindle [o no, what did I just say?]
  21. Toussaint will be asked a lot of questions by the Steelers ("tell us the difference between last year and this year practices", "What about the playbook?" etc.), and then let go.
  22. If this young man, as someone has published, has this condition (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osgood%E2%80%93Schlatter_disease), I fear we won't see much him on the field. However, we all hope that the team doctors and scouts and managers didn't really overlook something like this.
  23. Glad Aiken did not get hurt. He was lucky that the tackle left both his arms free, and he could land - by just a fraction of an inch - on his forearms first, and only then on his head. With one arm tied up in the tackle we would not be here talking about suspensions and fines, but rather jail-time!
  24. We have just one QB, one RB, one WR, one OG, the FB and maybe one TE and the C that we can rely on, on offense: with the "ideal" lineup the team looks good - but how many times will that lineup actually take the field over the 16 regular-season games? We looked terribly thin behind the first stringers.
