  1. This is in our hands. Our division sucks this year! It seems every division has gone through this and it will continue to go around! It will hit another division next year. Remember 7-9 playoff contenders? NFC West NFC south, has all been in recent years. We usually carry three to the playoffs! Not anymore. Besides we should make it because we are 3-0 in the division and play pitt one more time and cinn twice! Remember aj green is gone!!!!!!! Cinn has nobody and they play like it! So I believe we are blessed to be the best of the suckest division?
  2. I thought the same thing until I factored in the Penalties. The Offensive Line Just couldn't hold up, but they could hold onto the other team for penalties. I saw many penalties that were not called on the cowboys! Plenty!
  3. That's why it pays to be deep on that front 7 line at least 10 deep. The regulars couldn't keep it up! Dummerville playing hurt dosent help us either! More importantly Wright and Powers should not be on the team next year. They have too much experience to play like they play. We need to stop this free agency picking up secondary and draft! should have kept Monroe and osem and draft hargraves, or some damn body. It could not hurt us any more. Weedle is not that good either. WE need to stop digging in other peoples garbage and go to the super market!
  4. While I agree, it's not as easy as it seems. The Ravens need O-line, pass rush, Cornerbacks, explosive RB & legit #1 WR. Considering that 90% of all players drafted in Rounds 3-7 are BUSTS and considering that 50% of all 1st Round picks are BUSTS - it's difficult to fix glaring needs and can take several years. To me, it's a salary cap issue - the NFL put the salary cap in place so that the league is full of a bunch of 8-8 teams. Sure you have a couple of really good teams and a couple of stinkers, but for the most part you can group all the other teams together. Every team has the same issues. The NFL wanted parity and this is the result. You have a point! Look at Greenbay! They look like the raven Arron Rodgers looks like flacco? Cant tell the difference except Rodgers is very mobile still
  5. This is what happens when we are used to winning! Losing in the past was not an option!
  6. true he is a waste of money no advantage there! It is time for him to retire. He does nothing for us. He is done. Just taking up roster space?
  7. That just goes to show you He is not interested in winning! Its just a job to Joe. He is a millionaire. He could care less about a superbowl he got his dream already and his family is set for life. What he does from here on out really dosent matter, he is rich!!!!!!!! He had passion, money took it away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. I really think it is time to try Mallet. I am sorry I have been a Flacco fan for 81/2 years now and I must say for 9 years in the league he SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! He has gotten too comfortable with the money we need somebody hungry. Perhaps he wants to spend more time with his family in Jan. Joe must kind of like being home ? We are used to winning and we are spoiled! Cant change that but really Joe? Sharice wright! sounds like a girl and he plays like one another one who should be benched. He has no clue and I don't know why the coaching staff plays him or how they gave him money. Powers another one who should not be on the roster next year! Man these guys are vets and they play worse than first year rookies! One play powers didn't even know where #11 he turned all the way around!!!!!!was and they were running towards the sidelines!! Comon man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. How in the devil does Asa get on injury list? He just got there! Man this is a trip!
  10. Ok here we go again! Injury to an important piece! Next man up! Damn this sucks! Tavon Young will step up! Please no Wright he is washed up! However, Tavon is our future he has the talent no question.
  11. Very good post couldn't agree with you more. I look forward to hearing more from you! Great Post!
  12. Hey at work are you a good team player? Do you hang out with co workers? Is where you work a top flight company? So if you work together on the same job you have to be friends?
  13. Yanda DOSENT LACK passion com on! so who would say it! All all pros have passion and show it! Name one besides Barry Sanders. Oh could Joe be that Barry sanders type?
  14. DARN GOOD POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that's the way it is!!!!!!!!
  15. How do you really feel Slowboater ? The truth is, Joe has never been "that guy" ! So for Ray to call him out on him being a quiet leader, is really just not fair. On the other hand, Every season Joe seams to regress from the previous season in some way. When he is still throwing off his back foot or just making, as he says "bone headed decisions" at this point in his career is a bit unsettling. Add to that, the picture of him sitting on the bench by himself, and it's hard not to think he could be doing more ! If there are so many players that "have Joes back", maybe they should sit with him on the bench and encourage him while the defense is on the field. After all this is a team sport. And Ray Lewis, in my opinion should stick with the pep talk speeches ! That was a pep talk!!!!!!
  16. Oh Man! Great post couldn't said it better myself! This is exactly how I feel. Since he got that money there has been no fire! It is like a regular job to him. Do you like your job yes? Then it would make sense for you to have Passion for it? No ? then there is none! He does miss a lot of throws to be an 8 year vet! I think you were right with the Kyle Boiler thing we are just glad, or we were glad that we had someone who gave us a chance. It used to be if Ravens had the ball last and we were behind 7-3 points the odds were Flacco would prevail! More often than not it has been disappointing to say the least. But like with every play in football forget the last and focus on the next is all we can do and watch! If Ravens win this one and Joe has a 250+ passing game maybe more then I can say he has turned the corner. I just consider us blessed that our division is having serious problems Just hope Pitt and Cinn problems remain worse than our own.
  17. Purple Dawg good post He dosent want the keys! He has never had the keys high school college pro! In the league 8 years and you still play with regression? In order to be a leader you have to be on your game! Who will listen to someone who sucks at their position, super bowl is gone this is a prove it now league! talking about com on guys we can do this. It is no secret that it is our "team leader" who is not holding up to his part of the bargain. So how can he lead any body? I stood up for Joe many times and have caught hell here in NC about he is not elite and I believed he was! But I get beat down every Sunday when they constantly bring up flaws from him that should not exists after 8 years! This is crazy! How come we never hear about Matty Ice and his problems? Same draft class. Just saying!
  18. How do you really feel Slowboater ? The truth is, Joe has never been "that guy" ! So for Ray to call him out on him being a quiet leader, is really just not fair. On the other hand, Every season Joe seams to regress from the previous season in some way. If there are so many players that "have Joes back", maybe they should sit with him on the bench and encourage him while the defense is on the field. After all this is a team sport. And Ray Lewis, in my opinion should stick with the pep talk speeches ! Come on people this was a pep talk. How many of you out there have been in team sports? Ray said nothing wrong he just told the truth what is the problem? Why would he say something about his former team that would insult them???????? He had a reason and sometimes people need to hear what they don't want to. Any body that has been watching the raven games could see Joe was not motivated up until the second half of Cleveland. You saw what I saw He sucked! Plain and simple. Ray did the right thing, got some people blood flowing and pumped up! Go Ray!
  19. I am glad you said this. You are right he is not a leader! Out right any way. But leaders are born and he is not a leader in our standards with the team. Nevertheless there will be some people who will hate you for that comment?
  20. oh man would that be great!
  21. we need that fire! I think its good! Get some bodies moving energy flowing! Its a good thing in football! Don't you know it is a physical game and sometimes an individual needs to have that fire stroked real hot! Watch the response during the game today. Every offensive player will be there to prove a point and to help Flacco the best they can. Ray knew what he was doing and the results will show
  22. Injuries don't make no sense! I am tired as well.
  23. Don't we like to be done this way? We thrive on being forgotten or left out or just plain being the under dog. This is our swag and I love it. I don't like to be the favorite we never hold up to expectation.
  24. Why is he peed? Maybe Ray had something to do with that fire being lit? Its a good thang lets hope it works
  25. I am beginning to see that there is a misunderstanding about Passion and how it distinguishes it self . Passion is the desire want or drive for something anyone can have passion for anything. Once that passion leaves the desire leaves for what one was once passionate for? Ray Lewis dance can be interpreted as passion, his speeches definitely! His play on the field no question. However something almost extinguished his flam and his passion grew which was good for himself and the team. One has to have a passion to be a true leader! Would we expect the locker room to react any other way? Are most of us saying Ray is a trouble maker? I believe his statement to be true and just. Can you command with no passion? No one was describing Flacco not to have once possessed it but to the fact he might have at one point lost it? That was all that was meant to be said. And it was necessary to obtain it again. Plain and simple. Example: Does Jay Cutler have passion? (for the Game)
