  1. Until we're mathematically eliminated, I'm not giving up. Need a Bills win tonight. Raiders could win again, Chiefs likely have a close one with Denver. Texans lose, Phins lose. Jags better lose.
  2. So, how long until we get word that Perriman is on IR? I've been defending him up until the bye, but this is ridiculous. Sounds like if he isn't out there next week, he's done for the year.
  3. Sad, but have to imagine he'll be cut this offseason. There's no incentive for him to retire, and it's better for us to take the cap hit and move on. While we would save money doing this post-June 1, it would still push dead money into 2017. I don't see him lasting past the early off-season. Gotta assume the Ravens will take the cap hit and move on quickly.
  4. Which then leads me to believe they expect him to start practicing by early next week, if they want him to get four games in. If not, IR maybe? What a weird series of events.
  5. Ironic, but he's been pretty bad outside of his stint with us. Who knows, maybe he gifts us a fumble in a few weeks. He's always been prone to helping us out.
  6. There's a pretty solid chance that 9-7 will win the wildcards, with 8-8 being quite possible. One game at a time.
  7. He's already saved us a couple times, and came damn close a few others. Him and Tucker are by far the best weapons we currently have. I'd venture to say that if we win 7/8 games, he saved us from a complete nightmare of a season. At the very least he's saved us from going 1-15.
  8. Carr has nowhere to go but up. Barring injury, that team could be stacked in the next couple seasons. They have like $40-50 million (maybe more?) to play with next year. Crazy.
  9. The "tank for draft picks" crew are as bad as the "Perriman is a bust" crew. Annoying.
  10. As if it wasn't bad enough that every bandwagon clown in Denver went from calling Manning done, to saying they won't lose a game in the last 24 hours... Now they trade for Davis. For ever and ever, I hate you John Elway. Go Ravens.
  11. We've got LT problems. This may be becoming a position of need.
  12. I highly doubt that. We need the depth, and there's also still a chance he could end up getting us a comp pick.
  13. I feel like almost every fan had this idea roaming around in their heads before the game. And then, it happened. That was a terrible day.
  14. So, then what do you suggest we do? Continue the carousel of corners, never allowing any to get comfortable with the team/system? Keep picking up scraps off the street? We don't have the luxury of drafting top tier players (we will this year) ... and even the best prospects don't always pan out. CB is tough position to learn at the NFL level, and expecting your draft picks to come in and be amazing is just as much of a crap shoot as paying someone who can play at the NFL level, who may get injured. You could draft the best prospect in the world, and he could be a bust, or have a terrible injury before even playing a snap. Jimmy is still injured, so I'm not going to throw him under the bus like Pees did. If we don't lock-up Jimmy, someone else does. Look at the contract Maxwell "earned."
  15. There's a great reason Perriman isn't going to be IR'd unless he's done for the season. It's simple, they need to see what the kid can do, so they can go into the draft with a proper evaluation of talent. The difference between spending another first round pick on a WR and a pass rusher/cb could be the difference in winning for the next 2-4 years. He'll play, or he'll be IR'd after the bye. Let's hope he plays.
  16. You guys and your excuses. Watch the money pit drain when we don't turn it around next season. Biscotti can't be happy.
  17. This is a playcalling/personnel issue. No OL, no big recivers, no good play calls in these situations. Joe just lobs it hoping for the best. I'm not going to crucify him for it, he's the reason we were in it on the last drive. It's a bigger problem than just his lobs.
  18. Let's get to 2-5 first, and then have this conversation.
  19. Haha, we can all share that dream.
  20. Right there with ya. Considering how poorly rookie TEs typically play, they are both well on their way. Maxx just needs to bulk up and he could be a Heap-style player.
  21. Saw this last night with the Giants too. No pass rush will allow your secondary and LBs to get hammered in coverage.
  22. You guys talking down on Maxx do realize him and Boyle are the top rated rookie TEs by PFF, right? http://imgur.com/mZDKrHa That was before last week....
  23. When we lose we get to read about what other teams are saying. That's great and all, but I would love to hear what our own team is saying, specifically the assistant coaches and coordinators. I'm glad we got a SB with those two, and I'm glad they landed alright, but I couldn't care less about their second win with the 9ers.
  24. Laughably bad. This team is poorly coached and lacks any heart. At least Tucker and Flacco might come a little bit cheaper next season.
  25. This franchise is nowhere without Oz. We don't win two SBs without him. Be careful what you wish for, folks. DeCosta might be great, but I'm not ready to take that risk in the next 5-10 years... Not yet.
