  1. Ok yes Kyle is a above average FB, but let's look at somethings here. We ran the ball better without a FB on the field period. I still think we are better suited using a big TE to block and catch passes out of the backfield. This will give Joe more viable options for big plays. Kyle is not a homerun type of guy and we have some on the bench. I just think our offense is set up to throw more like New England's and use better skilled players. Nothing against Kyle but that is what I see and we do run the ball better without a FB.
  2. I think we have better pass catchers and better athletes available to fill this position. Bigger targets for Joe is a big plus for him and us. I love the way the Bengals use their tight end out of the backfield. We could do the same thing with some of ours. Plus we run the ball better without a FB in there. Better play makers makes more sense and will give us more opportunities to score which creates more points. I like Kyle but I think we can be better served with other athletes.
  3. Ok I agree with two of your players we need to resign. I think we can get a better fullback through the draft of free agency or eliminate it . Kyle is a very good receiver and has good hands, but as I have said before his blocking is lacking and plainly not up to par. We need to run the ball and if you check the stats we do it better when we don't have a FB in the game. We don't need a FB to throw to we have plenty others. Use our tight ends like other teams do to block out of the back field. This would free up a spot for another skilled player and help Joe out by having more options.
  4. Can Kyle catch of course, but his blocking skills are lacking big time and our run game suffers because of it. I have re-watched every game and his blocking is not good at all. He is not on par with any other FB in the league as far as blocking skills. I still think we should use a TE in the backfield to block and catch balls like the Bengals do. Our TE's can take it to the house and our FB can't do that right now. I just think we need to put more play makers on the field for Joe so he has more options and we have a better chance to break more plays.
  5. Are we going to have a fullback or should we use a tight end back there like some other teams do. I like getting more athletic guys on the field and using them. We have lots of good tight ends and I hate to see one wasted. Joe likes big targets. Also last year we ran the ball better without a fullback. I know someone else in our division does this and they are very successful with it. Any thoughts
  6. You maybe right. I like using a tight end out of the backfield like the Bengals do. Make's an offense so much more versatile and creates match up problems. Better athletes need to be on the field. A bigger target for Joe will only help him and getting the ball to a better player will increase our YAC numbers. Believe me we have some TE's with talent and need to be part of the plan.
