Word was they had a wild package to offer for our pick at 3, too. I don't know if this draft went according to the Sixers "plan". Otherwise, they would have taken a deal like that from Boston. I feel as though we threw our hands up after LA took Russell and just said "screw it, let's just do whatever." Good players, but how can we get them all on the court? Like we gave up on trying for players who can actually make shots, so let's just hope we have guys to get every single offensive rebound. I foresee one of our recent early big men, at least, getting shopped hard. Either that or we have a bunch of two-minute long possessions this year and a ton of games in the 70s for both sides.
Maybe the Embiid injury is scarier than everyone thought ![]()
There's been a lot of chatter about it recently, and the Okafor draft ain't quieting anything down. But then he was easily the best player available so it could be innocuous.
Has there been a competent legal analysis by anyone as to what an appeal to the courts could be based on? A whole lot of media guys just say "oh, the Saints had all their punishments taken away, same thing would happen here", without realising that none of the (obvious) problems those Saints punishments had with retroactivity etc. are the case here at all.
Would be a good read tbh. Especially since Brady might choose to fight even a reduced sanction in the courts, if he wants his "good name" and reputation cleared. Which would be so gross.
It was good, you can feel the stress of the lead - Miles Teller. Because it's music-based, lots of scenes with little-to-no dialogue still become meaningful. Not a criticism as I don't have an ear for it, but crappy drumming sounded like good drumming at times lol.
Not a music guy at all so I don't know how believable it was to people who know what they're talking about, but the editing & sound editing was ridiculous to me. Must've been a huge pain to film, can't imagine what that process was like. Just matching sound to action, and then all the quick cutting, and the fact that it's drumming, etc. Really good stuff tbh.
Always love seeing Kurt Warner on lists like these, reminds me of how good he was + how fun to watch. How'd almost everyone find a way to underrate him as a QB? Dude ruled, no one talks about him enough.
I just asked my son, he is keen to play if it's OK with the rest of you considering he's a Giants fan.
Sup fellas, I'm down to play if you need me.

Oof. Stats backing up the eye test, was painful to watch sometimes
. Who were the main culprits, the two Smiths?
As far as expectations go, a decent playoff run + killing the Pats in spectacular fashion in the playoffs would be really nice imo. Would be happy with that.
Oh and Perriman should be really really good. Expect him to pan out.
