Let's be clear, the Ravens were better than 5-11 last year. Refs admit the Ravens should have won the jaguars game and a bad call negating a touchdown in the Miami game could have easily made the difference in a 15 to 13 win for the Dolphins. So, even if we didn't upgrade the roster this year we are a better team than the 5-11 record last year shows. Barring injuries, this team should go 8-8 at a minimum.

Thank you for stating what I have been saying for at the last 3 years. Harbaugh is a great coach but his game management skills are in question. It's frustrating to watch sometimes.

A fourth round pick for a "project" is somewhat of a gamble. Let's hope it pays off

I don't want to use the refs as an excuse for our record, but I don't remember one game this season where we got preferential treatment by them. They cost us at least one game this year with a bad no call and seemed like they missed a lot of obvious penalties on our opponents. Not sure how you fix that.

Mallett looked good enough that I don't think we need to draft a QB. That frees up picks for much more needed positions like DB, WR, and OL.

I have to laugh at all you people jumping on the Mallet bandwagon after one game. The Steelers thought this game was going to be a slam dunk with our injuries and our record. Mallet played a nearly flawless game and was quite impressive but Flacco is money when it comes to the playoffs. NOBODY wants to play the Ravens in the playoffs and thats mainly because of Flacco.

Now I see why Webb and Smith were so eager to renegotiate their contracts. Webb has been horrible and Smith mediocre at best this year. They both must have known that they just don't have the speed or agility to be top tier corners after with their injuries.

Harbaugh can talk all he wants about not game planning the no huddle offense but we seem to have trouble with every year since He's been here. The Bengals have huge success with it when they play us so I'm sure we will see it again this season.

It would be interesting to see how many GM's would take Joe Flacco over their present starting QB. Just food for thought.
