  1. Remember they want to limit SSS a little bit so he has more juice down the stretch of the season. While I still think he is in the top 2 receiver(with Perriman) category I really see the Wr position as a situational rotation or when a guy really needs a breather. I see Aiken as more of a third and long- medium guy. Marlon Brown will be more a third and short or redzone guy. Waller may even see some action this year in the redzone especially for 2pt conversions. Keep in mind Waller is still raw so it depends on how fast he develops. While I don't hate Camp I see him mostly playing special teams there just too much depth at the Wr position right now. Camp and DeAndre will battle for kick and punt returns and both might get the job.

  2. I have all the confidence in the world in Marc Trestman as a offensive cordenator. He has none of the stress of being a head coach can focus on the offense and is great with working with quarterbacks, except Jay Cutler (cant help them all). He knows the deal work with what was already working because its not broken. Then add his own twist on to it, with all the weapons and depth I think the sky's the limit on the plays he can execute with this team. Joe will have fun working with somebody who has the same personality as he and they will get along phenomenally. I just hope Trestman can actually stick around for more than a year because I think Joe may be tired of remembering so many offensive coordinators names.

  3. If you don't know you better ask somebody. Nobody forces Ozzies hand and nobody knows what Ozzie is going to do. We can spend a whole year talking about how we should keep Yanda (who I love to death) or keep K.O. (who grows better each week) or keep both or try and sign Tucker (best kicker in the league) or keep Will Hil ( love his mentality because all he wants to do is hit and make plays) but at the end of the day Oz and Co. will always put the team first by making sure contracts are fair for the organiztion and postions are competitve despite team favorites and elite players.

If you don't believe the words I say to be true then ask a guy like Haloti Ngata how Ozzie does it.

  4. Cmon we already know what the deal is. This is the AFC North the toughest, hardest, grittiest, blue collar division in the NFL hands down. Even the Browns will play you hard(tho they don't win a lot). This will be a an epic cut throat battle as usual. (not for the weak at heart and fair weathered fans) Any of the top 3 teams can take it, but this year with this roster of perfectly blended youth and vets, fear the Raven not just in the AFC North but in the entire NFL.

  5. Rashaan Melvin did all he could last year. He will be fine this year adding quailty depth to the CB position and will develop quite nicely. My condolences to both he and his family, its always tough losing a loved one especially when you have to watch them slowly die. I myself have lost 2 uncles I was really close with to cancer and I can tell you it was the watching and the knowing that their days are growing shorter and their pain is growing stronger. All we can do is be strong for our families and never forget the good times we shared with our loved ones no matter how short their time on this earth may have seemed.

All the best Rashaan, stay strong.

  6. Not a big fan of the rule change I'm more of an old school guy. I am however optimistic with the ravens benefiting from this.

Creative head coach who used to be a special team head coach + A kicker who is is the best in the league today and both accurate and confident + a stable of big tight ends Maxx Williams6-4, Dennis Pitta6-4, Crockett Gillmore6-6, Nick Boyle6-4 + a flock of giant wide receivers Breshad Perriman,6-2, Kamar Aiken6-2, Marlon Brown6-5, Jeremy Butler6-2, Darren Waller6-6 + Large power backs Javorius Allen 6-0 220, Lorenzo Taliaferro 6-0 226, Kyle Juszczyk 6-1 248 = Not only more PAT's and 2 point conversions, but more redone scores to!!!

  7. If Pitta feels he can still play and compete I'm all for him coming back. By no means do I want him to ruin his life though. At the end of the day he's has to come together with his family and make the best decision whether it be retiring, sitting out a weeks or a year(which he could do because we have amazing depth at the TE position plus he could still be a leader for the bench), or deciding to strap up game one.

I wish you the best Dennis!

  8. Despite the whole Ray Rice debacle (Wish he and his family well) and Ngata's dead money, and losing other key players. A genius of a man stood tall with his crew of talented individuals and built a well stocked and talented roster. Where most organizations in this situation would panic, crumble, or tuck their tails between between their legs. Oz and Co just do what they do best Scout, draft, crunch numbers, make fantastic deals/signings, win, repeat.

In ozzie I shall always trust!
