It's not hard to point to any number of players that have put up big numbers and you'd never call them great, or older players that when you watch them they are clearly not the same player but you look at the stat line and they are still putting up numbers.

Not anywhere close...
Just now, ludy51 said:If we are talking about the same player, it doen't look that way from the stats
stats don't tell the full story
1 minute ago, ludy51 said:Now i'm not sure what's happening. Are people thinking this LB was taken before? Or did something happen that I can't find?
If we're talking about the same LB - they had a really down year last year
Had to go Oline, he's not the best player on my board but he's young and doing well, can't keep putting off the oline
With the 132nd pick, the Livingston Loco Lemurs select...

Taylor Lewan, LT
This pick might take a bit, struggling with who to take. Theres a great value pick here but I have bigger needs.

nope, Cameron Jordan wasÂ
dang, i was targeting Mercilus to play opposite Mack
With the 125th pick, the Livingston Loco Lemurs select...
Calais Campbell, DE
In other news: Darby is a great pick, played extremely well for a rookie
deflated football got skipped...

Hope you aren't going to take who I think you're going to take...sucks still being a million picks away

worked for me, says he went #42
harrison smith is already off the board
I wish my pick wasn't a million miles away...
Nooo, I wanted Dareus but I figured there's no way he'd make it to my next pick
Just now, ludy51 said:He is starting though just at a different (but very similer) position
oh I see, hard to say without knowing who they are. Guess it's up to you if you think the value is right. I think you can really draft a player to play at whatever position you wantÂ
2 minutes ago, ludy51 said:Here's a question: Do I draft a player now to play a certain position that the team he's playing on now plans on playing him at in a year or so?
If they aren't starting right away then I'd say he'll probably be available later on
Crap, I looked at David for my last pick, he's sort of the new Daryl Smith, so good yet so unappreciated. Had my fingers crossed he'd fall to my next pick but it's just too far away.
Just now, RavensFanMania said:Can we save this in the big board thread so we all can find it in one location to update it.
It's on the big board thread now, it was edited into the original post right below the google doc
With the 68th pick, the Livingston Loco Lemurs select...

Zack Martin, G
I genuinely have no idea who I'm going with here...
Can't go wrong with Yanda

That doesn't mean anything. Tell me that Ray Lewis was the same player in 2010 that he was in 2000, look at the stat line and they are roughly the same. That doesn't mean he's the same player, doesn't mean he had the same impact. Production and overall impact are two separate things. Pat Angerer springs to mind, one year he had like 150 tackles and he was only in the league for 4 years, numbers are nice but it's ridiculous to assert that stats tell all, or most, of the story.
