Le'Raven Clark, OT/OG, Texas Tech...for an obvious reason...
I don't think Juice should count, he's already been a very good starting FB and its unlikely he'll get more snaps.
I'd like to say Asa or Melvin but since we now have 3 all but automatic starters both are looking at decreased snaps barring an injury.
Upshaw would be nice but he just isnt a prolific pass rusher from what we've seen, so i don't think the loss of McPhee affects him too much.
I like Brooks and Levine but we have starters at safety and Brooks may miss a significant part of the season.
I'm going with KLM, i love what we've seen of his game and i think if he can stay healthy (and the injury didn't change him too much) he can be a force at either DT or DE.
I suspect the pats are in for a long decline one Brady hangs it up soon.
If you look at their fans they seem to think Garappolo is the second coming. I saw an article a while back written by a Pats fan about whether the Patriots should trade Garappolo for a first rounder, something no team, even the Browns, would ever do.
Coverage assignments:
Jimmy Smith - Best/tall receiver (Demaryius, Amari Cooper, AJ, Antonio Brown, Torrey, D. Parker, Larry Fitz, Baldwin)
Lardarius Webb - Nifty, savvy veteran receiver (Boldin, Stills, Baldwin, Jennings, Kearse)
Kyle Arrington - Shifty slot receiver (John Brown, Sanu, Wheaton, Jarvis Landry, E. Sanders, Keenan)
Rashaan Melvin - Tall receiver (Martavius Bryant, Michael Floyd, C. Latimer, Bowe, Quick, Chris Matthews)
Asa Jackson (Depth)
Tray Walker (Depth)
Will Hill - Receiving TE (Jimmy Graham, Antonio Gates, Jordan Cameron, Heath, Lance Kendricks, Julius Thomas, Eifert)
Kendrick Lewis - Roaming the backfield
I agree with almost everything. I question though whether Jimmy should be on Cooper rather than Crabtree. I just feel he'd be better served taking on the bigger more physical receiver and let the vet technician Webb take care of the youngster. But i trust either on both, just my two cents.
i'm excited about this signing as any ravens fan, but some writer brought up an intersting point, from this article from Russell street report , why would the pats release the CB? whats the reason ? they couldn't have released him b/c of $3 mill? hmmm........................
it's pretty simple: Belichick thinks he is way more clever than he is.
We weren't before?
