  1. Where do people see Chris Moores' speed from? It says his 40 time was a normal 4.53

    1. VeiledPsychosis

      VeiledPsychosis

40 has never been a good measure of play speed. Every year we talk about guys who play slower than their 40, well it goes the other way too, just watch his tape and you'll see his play speed is far faster than 4.5.

  2. Which 7 or 8 Receivers do yall think will make the 53 man roster?

      VeiledPsychosis

No way we'll keep 8 unless you want to count someone making it for ST purposes. SSS, Perriman, Aiken, Wallace, Butler, and Moore with an option of Matthews for the 7th spot. Can't see Camp making it, he simply can't be relied upon to stay healthy at all.

  3. sure he may have been BPA but trade back! get more picks!

Without Tunsil nobody wanted to trade up, it takes two to tango, I'd take Stanley over a bad trade any day. After Tunsil's latest crap nobody wanted to trade up for him and that's understandable.

  4. Some will disagree but I'm really, really pulling for Alexander at 36. The swagger is infectious, he's by no means a finished product and will benefit from sitting behind Wright from the start, but his ceiling is very high if our coaches can refine his technique. Leslie Frazier talking about our secondary being more aggressive this year would be great for Alexander, who if anything is at times too aggressive.

I know people are really pulling for Spence/Dodd though, and I'd of course support whoever we pick.

  5. I really liked Ramsey but I think Stanley ends up being our LT for the next 10 years.

      VeiledPsychosis

It's not a popular opinion but I always thought Ramsey was a bit overrated, he's a safety in the NFL, I don't think he could be an outside CB and I'm hesitant to take a safety all the way at 6.

  6. Players I do not want tomorrow at 6: Buckner, Elliot, any of the WRs, Floyd, Lawson...

At positions other than 6, I'd be content.

    1. VeiledPsychosis

      VeiledPsychosis

Buckner will be a solid DE but #6 is a reach, his ceiling doesn't seem high enough to justify him that high.

  8. Drafting Tray Walker and Z'Darius Smith over Stefon Diggs who we had the privilege of scouting extensively in our own backyard *claps* well done front office

      VeiledPsychosis

It's far too early to act as if Walker will have a less successful career than Diggs. A couple games doesn't mean anything. Come back here in a few years when Walker has had any sort of shot.

  9. Has Clarence Brooks ever gotten a shot at Defensive Coordinator? Our Dline has been consistently good since he's been here and just look at some of the players that have developed on his watch. Seems like if Pees ever gets let go during this season Brooks should get interim job.

By "gotten a shot" I mean has he ever been interviewed or turned down a job. I know he hasn't been a DC

  11. At this point in time, we might as well position ourselves for a high draft pick. With the injuries and our defensive coordinator, even if we did get on a run we would get killed in the playoffs

because our team as a whole always does terrible in the playoffs - /s

  12. So uh....Reggie Wayne is out there somewhere, Ozzie isn't trading for anyone and we clearly need another reliable target out there

    1. VeiledPsychosis

      VeiledPsychosis

"Well we have next to no money" you say that as if Wayne would be an expensive addition...Who ever said he'd be brought in to stretch the field? he a reliable target and "past his prime" describes SSS too. I never said Wayne would be a pro bowler here, I just called him a reliable target, much more reliable than Aiken was this game.

Gotta love the people that have already decided that Perriman is a bust without even seeing him play yet

  14. If it makes you feel better, go to the Colts forums. There's a thread on who should replace Pagano, Andrew Luck being overrated, someone making a schedule conspiracy thread, etc. You think it be the end of the world reading their forums.

    1. VeiledPsychosis

      VeiledPsychosis

If the colts fire Pagano I fully expect him be hired somewhere else by the end of the week. Not his fault the GM has given him nobody on the defensive side of the ball. Like what happened to Rex in NY

  15. Trindon Holliday has been cut.DOes anyone else think he would look good in purple and black returning punts and kicks?

    1. VeiledPsychosis

      VeiledPsychosis

I'm not a fan of having somebody on the team for the sole purpose of returns, especially a WR like Holiday. Even Asa provides a little bit as a slot CB. I'd rather we not take up a whole roster spot for RS only.

  16. After last years db fate, would it be a bad idea to put Cortland Finnegan on a 1 contract since he is coming out of retirement?

if the price is right then why not, but i doubt he's within our range at this point.

  19. After last years db fate, would it be a bad idea to put Cortland Finnegan on a 1 contract since he is coming out of retirement?

    1. VeiledPsychosis

      VeiledPsychosis

To be honest though, there's a reason he retired early, the last couple years haven't been kind to him. It sort of depends on whether he wants to win or start, if he wants to start then there are quite a few teams that need more help than us. But we may be too crowded back there as it is. But like i said: it doesn't hurt to give him a shot.

if he's cheap then i don't see why we can give him a shot considering its still preseason.

  21. That Washington team is abominable! RGIII was getting slammed and they left him in there to take the shots! In Preseason! Now he is injured. Grrrrrr!

    1. VeiledPsychosis

      VeiledPsychosis

After this RGIII should ask for a trade, the Skins can probably still get something good for him and he would benefit from a new environment and scheme. Eagles or Houston may be interested in his services surely.

    1. VeiledPsychosis

      VeiledPsychosis

I think the state of the Jets has more to do with their previous GM than Rex but he sure didn't help. I don't think he's anywhere near as bad of a coach as some make him out to be (not to say that includes you or anything)
