If Russell Wilson genuinely wants to be the highest paid player in NFL history then he better prepare to be disappointed. No team will pay that much for a game manager. He isn't the kind of QB that can carry a team to a SB like Manning, his greatest asset is that he doesn't make too many mistakes but put him on a team without an elite defense and he'll crumble, he can't put a team on his back and make them winners, just not the player he is.
Or they just know he can't carry the team...
he also doesn't have the WR weapons around him like Tannehill has.
Golden Tate was plenty good in his time there (actually, really good and pretty handicapped). This past year he didn't have the best receivers, but the Seahawks invested high in Lockette and Baldwin has been pretty solid. It's not like Tannehill's receivers are on the Denver or Green Bay level.
