How was I "trying way too hard with the Doss and Brown part?" please, I invite you to teach me, I stated nothing but facts in my brief address between the two of them. Browns first year far exceeded anything Doss ever did, thats just a fact. I can't find a single post where you said Aiken was a bum, you wanna know why? because you never said that and I never said that you did, I said you are acting as if he is. Theres a big difference between acting like he's a bum and explicitly stating it. When i said "acting as if he is in serious danger of being cut" I wasn't saying "you are acting like it is highly probable that he'll be cut" I was saying "you are acting as if its a realistic probability." And its just plain not. If you want to be technical about it, obviously nobody is safe, SSS could be cut, Perriman could be cut, whether it "could" happen is beside the point, its a matter of whether the scenario in which it would happen is even worth considering and in the case of SSS, Perriman, Brown, and Aiken its not. You keep saying Aiken only has 24 catches, Aiken only has 24 catches, Aiken only has 24 catches....In a vacuum in which all WRs in the NFL are only equal ground, sure thats not very impressive, but lets take a step back into reality in which Aiken started the season as the #5 WR, maybe even #6 depending on how you felt about Camp, its gets much more impressive. Nobody ever said Aiken is a legend or HOFer, even for hyperbole that a bit much. Theres a vast difference between being considered a lock to make the roster and being a "legend." Considering Aiken has everything you want out of a receiver and when called upon and given more snaps he produced (not at "legend" levels, nobody is saying that), i.e. the Chargers and Dolphins games, he definitely should be considered a lock. He easily proved last season that he is a dependable target when on the field. Could he have a rough camp? yeah, could anyone? yeah. But how "rough" of a camp would he need ot not make the roster is the question. And that bad of a camp simply isn't a realistic possibility.
