  1. Not to my knowledge he doesn't but he is an athletic, versatile guy. I seriously doubt though that we are planning to add him to the 53, I think at 4pm when we throw Urban onto IR/DTR we are promoting Ross and adding James to the PS. Ross has known return talent and can contribute a bit to offense as well. James will be the first guy we call if someone gets injured but as of now he is probably PS bound.
  2. Glad you can say that confidently considering we haven't even seen him play yet...
  3. Dline of Collins, Williams, and Jernigan is pretty scary
  4. I'm just going to focus on a couple QBs for now, I'll do another later: RISE: Jared Goff, QB, Cal probably my favorite guy in the draft that we have 0 chance of taking. Right now most mocks have him as a second rounder, you may be able to find one where he sneaks into the late first. Super underrated right now. Great arm and can just flick the ball a mile. Does a good job of going through his progression and not staring down receivers, not to mention a tad bit of athletic ability. I think he could go top 10, maybe top 5 barring some kind of injury. The guy just has pretty much everything you want out of an NFL QB save for maybe putting on some weight at only 210. Bonus: Gunner Kiel from Cincy, I have doubts that he'll make it to the first but maybe 2nd. With a solid season who knows. FALL: Christian Hackenberg , QB, Penn St. I never got why this guy was getting so much love coming into this season. His tape doesn't look good, and i know i know "he has no weapons at Penn st." Even though thats true you should still be able to see something but with him you just don't. He's got the size but the mind just isn't there. Maybe he'll prove me wrong this season.
  5. I'd rather we cut Trawick for him
  6. Two names to look for: Browns cut Shaun Draughn RB/RS, used to be here and fills two needs. Jacoby Ford WR/KR was cut by Tennessee, provides return abilities and is a deep threat that we could use.

I think either would be good but once Perriman comes back I don't know if Ford would be needed

Jacoby Jones is the only Jacoby I want.

i think Jacoby Ford would be great fit for KR/PR, but not much else

  7. So we'll probably be hitting the wire for a kick returner and a stop gap RB, maybe we can hit both with one move
  8. Myers may make it through the waivers and get to the PS, we have multiple o-lineman with injury issues so he probably won't be there long regardless
  9. so? you have to earn your spot and Myers didn't
  10. Robinson didn't make it out of the first round of cuts to 75
  11. for the first time in over a decade we have no UDFA make the roster but to be fair we did get to trade one away for a pick
  12. looks like we'll be scouring the waiver wire for a RB, some good guys out there, grabbing one shouldn't be hard
  13. He's probably better than all three, but not by much and he doesn't have the upside Orr and Brown have. He's had some devastating injuries and he's getting older, his time as a Raven are pretty much through. I'm sure there are a few teams that will give him a look if he is indeed cut.
  14. seriously doubt he makes it through waivers
  15. that's unfortunate (for us anyway), I really wanted him to make the roster. Been super impressed by him this preseason. Wonder what we'll get for him
  16. Southward got absolutely abused last night, particularly at the end of the game, he's at most on par with Asa or Vaughn
  17. Not to mention the Browns wouldn't trade us a washing machine, they're still salty about the team moving...
  18. surprised to see Cyril Richardson on there
  19. never really had a chance, definitely worth a look
  20. Some interesting names are already hitting the market. DT Louis Nix was released by the Texans, never really got a shot but was dominant at ND. I always thought Da'Quan Bowers would be better standing up in a 3-4 instead of the 4-3. Who else?

I'd rather have Sio Moore than any other FA right now

  21. So far nothing too surprising, Brown never had a chance to make the roster, possibly PS though. Pointer played pretty well but we are crowded in the secondary and Pointer didn't really emerge from the group
  22. Louis Nix was released by Texans, someone to look at
  23. Clausell is a practice squad candidate if he goes unclaimed
  24. I could be thinking of someone else but if not he's had injury issues and ball security issues
  25. If we want to sign a RB Pierre Thomas is also available, I always liked him in NO, he'd be a good backup
