  1. Some will disagree but I'm really, really pulling for Alexander at 36. The swagger is infectious, he's by no means a finished product and will benefit from sitting behind Wright from the start, but his ceiling is very high if our coaches can refine his technique. Leslie Frazier talking about our secondary being more aggressive this year would be great for Alexander, who if anything is at times too aggressive.

I know people are really pulling for Spence/Dodd though, and I'd of course support whoever we pick.

    2. ALPHA

      ALPHA

Alexander got knocked partly for his size but mostly for his attitude and coach interviews, he's self orientated as opposed to team orientated, self confidence is good but not when it's rubbing your teammates and coaches the wrong way.

  2. I added him to my list at like 1 o'clock today, I just had a feeling.
  3. I don't think Garnett was the biggest reach, but moving up to take him was definitely the most head scratching move.
  4. Oh yeah, I forgot all about Fuller, gigantic reach
  5. Who was the biggest reach in the first? I think Apple without having a list of picks in front of me
  6. honestly I think we'll trade back tomorrow, so much available
  7. I don't think Jack not going in the first says anything about his knee that we don't already know. He's just too much a question mark for teams to gamble in the first, he could well fall into the mid or late 2nd, the reports about his knee are just scary.
  8. SD could reach on a safety as well to replace Weddle
  9. We could end up trading back tomorrow, so many good players, we can trade back, grab some more trade ammo and still get a fantastic player
  10. So so so many good players still available. Stanley is a solid pick and we are about to land a home run in the second tomorrow, I can't complain
  11. I think it's because we had the same record and after the first those with the same record cycle
  12. Don't love that pick by Gettleman, they have so many pieces up front, they just don't need Butler, they need a CB or OT
  13. i don't think him still being around means his knee is worse than we expect, it's just that it's a question mark, teams don't want to gamble in the first, maybe not even in the early second. I have a feeling that if we're taking an ILB we'll go Ragland if he's available
  14. i think they'll go Alexander or Fuller
  15. I don't think Carolina will go Jack, they just took Thompson to play OLB last year
  16. i'd be happy if we move up, I don't think it's a bad move by any stretch of the imagination but I just don't see the rationale
  17. Maybe Spriggs
  18. We're staying put, too many good players on the board, we are guaranteed one at 36, just no need to move up at this point
  19. Cards will be darn good next year, they have Campbell, picked up Chandler Jones, and now Nkemdiche, this line is going to be nasty
  20. I want to trade up but I don't want to trade up at the same time. So many great players available we really don't need to
  21. To be clear though, I like Garnett and he's one of the best guards available but they didn't need to trade up for him
  22. 49ers fans are probably livid right now
  23. To be fair I like Garnett over Whitehair, I don't get what people see in Whitehair. Either way they didn't need to trade up for that.
  24. that's surprising
  25. I'm calling it now - They traded back in to get Cook ahead of the Browns - trying to be bold here
