  1. 100% - AFC is wide open. Pats losing Gronk and sending off their best defenders leaves them ripe for the picking in my eyes also having enjoyed some success in the post season may give us a small edge over the other teams in the mix
  2. There were soooo many playmakers to be had, I really don't think KC falls into that bracket. We spent a high second on a OLB we want to play inside. We got an undrafted guy holding it down just fine. Spend high picks on skill positions, the oline, the secondary I remember in the preseason press fluff - whoever the chick is who covered the team described KC as the Tasmanian Devil - just running around like a crazy thing - it was highlighted as a good thing at the time, I'm not so sure the guys a natural baller more an athlete. If we were sitting here waiting on Jack to get it together or waiting for Jaylon Smith - I'd class them as potential playmakers and I'd have patience, this just seems like a wasted high second round pick Hopefully KC shows something on the outside or we can scheme him into our game plan otherwise I can see him riding pine again next year - Orr isn't going anywhere, we draft pass rush, he'll be further down in that pecking order, not that he showed anything in that regard - where or how exactly is he getting on the field - barring injury to Mosley or Orr? Maybe in 2 or 3 years he'll start getting a look smh.
  3. No doubt BUT all I'm seeing when I read that - is Gronk sitting up in Krafts suite looking down as we shut out Brady & Belichick in the second half in Foxborough to win the AFC Championship on our way to the Superbowl. plus the pats defense has just sent out Collins n Jones. Is our defense that good again? If Doom is back and can give us some pass rush and Jimmy can be healthy - maybe?? Can we get there, think that firmly rests on Joes shoulders, Marty and the Offense - really hope these guys are putting in work - AFC looks ripe for the picking in my eyes.
  4. GRONK DONE FOR THE SEASON!! http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000749361/article/rob-gronkowski-to-have-surgery-set-to-miss-rest-of-16 we can win the AFC - we just need our offense to pull its damn finger out!!
  5. i hope we arent drafting in the high 2nd rnd with 2-4 or 3-5 year gameplans, id like plug and play rounds 1&2 - even if its just rotational - i dont want healthy scratches from my 2 top picks 3 onwards sit and learn, maybe youre showing us something and you get out there theres another draft this year where we can grab some guys and again the following year its laughable that we have holes all over this team and we spent a high 2nd on a developmental linebacker - especially when we have a history of developing undrafted guys or grabbing free agents this is just a waste of a pick, waiting to be proved wrong
  6. pretty much this, we need to just make the tough decisions and just move on from guys that cant stay healthy - we're talking about a middling TE - just cut the cord and be done with it - how many games has gilmore been active this year - 4?? we need to keep roster spots for people who are going to be available, if the man gets healthy - see if we can trade him for a late round pick
  7. http://www.crainscleveland.com/article/20161122/BLOGS06/161129939/terrelle-pryor-will-cash-in-soon-but-will-it-be-with-browns Spotrac estimates Pryor's market value at $10.76 million per year. The Tom Brady of sports salary websites says Pryor should receive a contract in the range of four years and $43 million, which would put his average annual salary at No. 75 overall and 11th among wide receivers. im down for this if we can lure him away from the browns - I would like to see us give joe weapons he can just grow with and basically play with for the next 4 or 5 years, the man needs some consistency in his life - it looks like his 2 favourite targets are done - ssr retire, pittas not far off Pryor & Perriman, Maxx hopefully as your dangerous pass catching TE other interchangeable parts but let that hopefully be the core for the next 4 or 5 years
  8. thank you for that awesomely long post - good thing i dont run the front office - id be splashing cash all over the show and we'd be 0 - 16
  9. Hoping he's on this thought train - he's not super young but young enough for us - don't waste your peak in Cleveland
  10. Haha we're depending on a juicer, a stoner and the other guy can't stay healthy - not having much luck Might need to trim some dead wood and add to this group again this year be nice to get some reliable production from the position we need to move on from Waller too - he needs to go after that stoopid touchdown celebration he did the other day!! we miss Owen Daniels, he really helped that year he was in town i would like to see us try and integrate our younger guys into things a bit more and just pull back a bit from pitta and Steve - we've had 11 games to see what they can do would just like to see some plays called for Waller, Perriman and even Moore Perriman has made catches and so has Waller i def think it's worth a shot, this Offense doesn't really look capable of winning any playoff games
  11. Time to move on from Gilmore next season?? Hasn't showed much this season when he did play and he's struggling to stay fit big chunks of his career now. Maybe we can get a late round pick for him mive forward with Maxx, Boyle & Waller,
  12. I would even like to see this with Waller, Perriman, Moore & Wallace in the slot. its not going to kill ssr if we he sits out a couple plays wallace out of the slot has been dynamic
  13. He might be making his job easier but it hasn't really helped putting points on the board.
  14. graham was playing in his first season and had a few sacks before doing his ACL and missing the end of his first season and most of his second came back and put up numbers 3rd season our guy ain't given us nothing, hopefully we see something next year
  15. Line up some of speed outside, send them deep or deep crossing and just roll out the wheel into space pretty sure we had a similar route against cinci, Dixon caught it with a guy in his grill but he had space - made him miss picked up the first down Our guys just need space to work
  16. Watching coaches film, seems like we just keep lining Steve up outside. had a quick look at the receiving numbers couple games he missed, Wallace had good numbers, Aiken too I think - need to rewatch, I like when we send guys deep, with a crossing runner, or coming back into the space, or flare the back out, the deep burner clears out the space for all those options- one of Aikens receptions, first qtr, Moore runs deep, few defenders go with him for a split second, Aiken comes back - first down - was a decent chunk too agreed re tight ends - let's just get our receivers out there and give them space, let's throw it up to our guys
  17. Watching coaches film of the game - really wish we'd start spreading teams out. seems like we get good yardage and positive plays when we run 3 receiver sets, running out of it generates good yardage and the little dump offs to the back are a lot more effective i really don't understand lining Steve smith up on the outside either, he's not beating anybody for speed anymore, he gets jammed at the line and he's too small to just throw back shoulders and 50/50s homrstly think we need to not be so Steve smith focused - would like to see his snaps decreased put perriman and Moore on the outside - if the corner plays up take a shot if they sag take the quick pass, run Wallace out of the slot - we have so much speed lets start using it, we hsve to start using and threatening our speed we have Wallace, Perriman and Moore - sizeable burners and we're throwing little underneath passes and dump offs to smith, Aiken and our backs Our misdirection plays are poo too, enough already, nobody respects our sweeps just spread our guys out and give everybody space to make plays
  18. The question against the Dolphins and I think every game going forward will be - can our offense score enough points to win. If we crack 20 @ home we should be ok against Miami - I hope one TD and 5 FG - sounds about right 22 -13 Ravens
  19. Yes please - how do you ignore somebody on here
  20. For the love of god can we start taking some shots downfield!! perriman hauls in a 50/50 on the TD, laid out and nearly hauled in a deep ball. get the back n Boyle to help with some protection, give them a chance to get downfield and give them a chance to make a play this seasons been painful to watch, never had so many weapons and we're just throwing little dinks for no yardage, then we get stuffed on a run, here comes the pressure, incomplete or throw short of the marker maybe it's a master plan and we're keeping all our plays under wraps until it's crunch time and we're in the playoffs i haven't watched the coaches film - are any of our receivers getting open down the field, are we even sending people over the top??
  21. Terrelle Pryor 130 yards today, get that man in the building. Think it would really help Joe, if we add some size to that group.
  22. Watching game now - just saw it, man you gotta hold on to that
  23. a contribution, some sort of impact i dont really blame him, more the front office i just dont understand drafting somebody just to try and teach them / play them at a different position, we only get so many years out of these guys on their rookie contracts and you pick somebody with the intention to teach him a new position - which you know full well could take a season or 2 i can understand getting guys and having them split time, or late round picks sitting their rookie year but not a high 2nd rd pick given the lack of impact and success, we've had over the last few years with our high draft picks - this pick has me a little dumbfounded
