And you have QB's who have thrown for 5k yards and haven't won a playoff game.  Or, maybe 1.

Not talking about 5k yards, I could care less. I'd like to see an entire season of Joe playing consistent without the bonehead passes where he throws off his back foot into triple coverage, like the wounded duck in the Rams game, where I'm sure we all scream at the TV "Why did you throw that?" There are several QB's in this league who I cannot stand, but you never see these mistakes from them. When is Joe gonna stop making these?

And yet once again we're treated to PFF's ridiculous rankings...I know that you need some yardstick to measure players, but PFF is if anything routinely bad, wether it is over ranking or under rating players. I guess if nothing else they do stir up controversy and give people a lot of ammo to discuss the pros/cons of different players, so I suppose that I should be thanking PFF for being consistently awful and giving us posters something to talk about.

Is it me or is their comment section mostly all patriot fans.

1: It did not say Watson reported the Ravens; however, he did clarify the rules to them and as a union representative is probably responsible to let the NFLPA know they were in violation. I'm guessing by your standards that if someone reported a safety violation at work, they should be terminated? No snitching, right?

2:I think there is absolutely no doubt the coaches were pushing the envelope to see how far they could get away with breaking the rules. They had to have known full well this was not allowable conduct.

3:These rules apply to all teams. If the Pats or Squeelers were caught doing this, i'm sure you'd be ranting about the need for sanctions against them. This time it was Harb's that got busted. He's by no means stupid, and had to know it was illegal. I put the blame 100% on him.

That was the intent of my original comment. I was under the impression that Watson as a union Rep would be the one that informed the league of this infraction. And if it was him would he now be in Harb's "doghouse"?

Watson told the coaches about it. Don't see why it would put him in the dog house.

If Watson didn't say anything, who's to say how long they would have practiced with pads.

They should be grateful Watson knew the rules and informed them about the violation immediately.

I'm curious of the process. He informs the coaches of the violation, so after that is it self reported to the league or how does the league become aware of the infraction?

    Did you read the article?

None of the rookies complained about the padded practice.  Ben Watson, a vet going into his 13th year, who also happens to be a union rep informed the coaches that  pads during rookie practice was illegal.

I'm curious if this is gonna put Watson in Harb's proverbial dog house? It's easier to get out of the "Crips" than it is to get out of Harb's dog house, lol.

Round 1. Ronnie Stanley- T- ND
Round 2 Noah Spence -DE- EKU
Round 3. Cyrus Jones -CB- ND
    Round 4. Jaylon Smith -OLB-ND
Round 4. Malcolm Mitchell- WR- UGA
Round 4. Travis Feeney- OLB- Wash
Round 4. Marcus Cannaday- CB- UVA
Round 6. Brandon Chubb- ILB- Wake
Round 6. Landon Turner- G- UNC

I have a feeling we're about to get screwed again by Dallas, and they get Spence.

    1. I don't know why Dallas would do that deal, since I'm sure they have tremendous interest in Ramsey themselves and would very likely take him there. He's a big need for that team.

    2. The only way they would do that deal is if they were convinced they could get the same player at 6 that they wanted at 4, which obviously isn't guaranteed with them sharing similar needs to Jacksonville.

Would be a pretty risky trade for Dallas, and I'd certainly think they would value that risk at significantly higher than a 4th round pick. If I were them, I'd be asking for a 2nd rounder for that deal.

Do you think Dallas goes Pass Rusher with their pick? Since they already have 2 players suspended for drugs and not having Hardy? Seems to me they would go pass rusher with this pick as it's an immediate need?

A lot of ifs and if thens. I thought the same thing but at the end of the day, how confident are you that this results in the best possible scenario for Baltimore.

I think Tunsil is great, and I would love a left tackle of the future especially considering how much I dislike Monroe. But I hope that Monroe has a great 2016 season, and I think Front Office is thinking the same if they were to look at the draft board and go defensive player.

So if Jax were to go Norman, who's to say they wouldn't take another great defensive player with their pick?

As long as they don't take Ramsey if he was still available, doesn't matter to me what other great defensive player they select. My thoughts were if they sign Norman perhaps they would draft someone else besides Ramsey. Just my personal preference.

I believe that the Browns will pass on both Goff and Wentz and if the Titans grab Tunsil they will snatch up Ramsey in a heartbeat. The RGIII signing gave them the flexibility to make that move and lock up the best player in the draft. It appears Bosa's draft stock is plummeting fast and for those who don't have the Ravens taking him have at 6 have him falling as far as pick 12. (Speed is much slower than anticipated and he has been well-coached and may have peaked in college and won't get any better). Ravens will trade down with Rams who have a desire for a top QB (Case Keenum is their starter) and if the Browns take Ramsey, then Goff and/or Wentz will be available. They also have three picks in the top 45. Ozzie is drooling. The Ravens will probably do what they did with Flacco and if they feel Hargreaves will be picked, will move back up and grab him. I think the Ravens are targeting Hargreaves and I saw an interview with a Ravens scout that alluded to the fact that he was number 2 on their board behind Ramsey.

Agreed, I hope we stay clear of Bosa.

I think they should do a TW or 25 patch on the jerseys this season like they did for Art in 2012.

Keep him on their hearts at least for the season.

And, not that this is the important part, but when we did it in 2012 we wound up with the Lombardi Trophy. It'd be one heck of a way to honor his life by making him a postumas (sp?) Super Bowl champion... And then make a ring for him to give to his family that they can either keep in his memory or auction off to a charity of their choice or a motorcycle safety organization.

My father teaches advanced motorcycle safety courses so Trays passing really hit him. Wishes he could've had a chance to teach Tray a few things that could've saved his life - but it made him realize the impact of what he does. He volunteers and spends most of his weekends outside of his regular 60 hour work weeks teaching these classes. But, he really does save lives.

If you ride motorcycles or plan to, I implore you to please contact your local DMV and sign up for a rider safety course. You're exposed as a rider and most drivers in cars don't properly respect the danger they present to your life. Sometimes even doing everything safely as a rider isn't enough bc there are wreckless drivers out there, but taking all the proper precautions and learning what danger signs/situations to look for and avoid can literally save your life.

Tray's and death unfortunately are a sobering reminder of both instances... Not taking the proper precautions and other drivers forgetting they are behind the wheel of a deadly weapon.

RIP Tray. You're sorely missed. A frustratingly avoidable and painfully unmistakeable loss. #RavensFamilyForLife

I don't know about other areas of the country but down here, dirt bikes on the streets are out of control.  It's a huge status symbol in my neighborhood and many others in the surrounding areas, and it's crazy. I'm sure if you were to google Miami MLK motorcycles you get the idea of what happens on our streets daily. And the sad thing is, Trays passing won't be a lesson to kids here because the young generation want to be considered cool and think they're indestructible. I heard the roar all weekend of these bikes on roads and every time I thought did these kids not hear about Tray?
