I was surprised too. I thought the Rams would take him in the 4th or 5th to pair with Goff
I was more surprised about Scooby Wright. This dude looks like a stud on tape, despite his average measurables (small and average athleticism). Reminds me Chris Borland a bit.
Measurables are great.
A saw an article talking about "true height" of all CB players in this draft (takes into account height, arm length and vertical) and Canady was the 3rd best CB in the draft. Ramsey was the number 1.
The only thing that concerns me is the "soft" label. I mean, If you're not tough, the Ravens is not place for you.

Thirdly, it seems from your response that you are the one being defensive and feeling attacked. I didn't attack you personally but just made a statement of fact regarding our front office and scouts.
Fair enough Ravens fellow. No reason to argue here.
I'm not as high as some of you guys about both picks. It's a matter of agreeing to disagree. Said that, I hope that both of them prove me wrong.
I loved this pick and I would have taken him over Tunsil even before that twitter photo. Tunsil is a low-iq player with power/strength. To me Tunsil is a Greg Robinson clone.
I'm very confortable about this pick and 2 years from now he will be easily regarded as the best OT of this draft.
3 hours ago, ellicottraven said:Well most of the guys that watch tape and scout for a living seem to think otherwise. If that isn't enough for you, the venerable Ravens front office thought he wouldn't have lasted through the end of the round. The main reason they took him when they took him.
So what ? It's just an opinion from someone that watches and likes football like everyone else here. You don't need to say amen to everything that the FO does just to get "likes" in the forum. I liked all the picks from the Ravens draft, except for those 2. Personal opinion, nothing else.
I don't even know why some fellows get so defensive when people criticize one or two choices from the draft seriously. And those guys that watch tape and scout for living though it was a good idea to spend a 1st round pick on Matt Elam. So? It means nothing other than the fact that people can make mistakes, even smart/hard-working ones.
He is 23 y/o.

@jeffzrebiecsun Quick question, Matt Judon is listed as being 27 on the Ravens' website. Is he really that old? Kinda weird if he is.
Jeff Zrebiec @jeffzrebiecsun May 2
@MeteorReed Doesn't seem right to me. But I haven't had much luck finding a birthdate for him.
LynnO @MeteorReed May 2
@jeffzrebiecsun hmm, that seems odd. His college profile says he redshirted and got hurt so he was a 6th year Senior.
Matthew Judon
@man_dammn
@MeteorReed @jeffzrebiecsun I'm 23
Quite honestly, from all the Ravens picks, those 2 are the ones that I like the least.
Tavon's ceiling is probably a decent slot CB. All the starting material CBs were gone by the 3rd round. He doesn't have elite speedy and he is too small.
As for Moore, I'm not a fan of the pick. I think The Ravens reached taking him early in the 4th round and there were several WRs that looked better on tape. Even Daniel Braverman, the Bears 7th round pick looks better on tape. Smaller guy, but way better router, great changing directions and really fast.
Moore looks average in everything and it's hard to get it done in the NFL if you don't have 1 single elite aspect.
Honestly, I liked the last 3 picks in the 4th round way more than the first 2.
I liked all 3 picks, especially Dixon.
Dixon
He is our future starting back
Probably 2 years like David Robinson in the NBA.
Too many excuses for him at this point. He was drafted to be our starting safety for a long-time.
I mean, if you're a safety and you can't tackle or cover, you're worthless. It's time to cut the ties and admit that we made a mistake drafting him .
17 minutes ago, Purple_City39 said:I may be in the minority but I don't like it for the price. 4 years, 26M to add a 14th safety to the roster. I guess we'll see how many safeties are getting cut soon. I'm guessing Lewis, Elam, and Hill.
For the record I'm fine with the player, just not the price
Lol Will Hill getting cut. Ravens have one of the best duos @ safety position right now. It was a great signing. I couldn't care less about Elam or Lewis. They both suck
He is gone
Too bad because I had high hopes
Great news
Hopefully he accepts.
Love Ngata but we don't need him. We have way more serious needs
KO - I'd love to have him back, but Guard money. If he goes delusional asking LT money because of a 4-game stretch, let him go.
Upshaw - I'd keep him for cheap. Not willing to give him a big long-term contract though.
Tucker - they have to keep him no matter what. Could be a long-term contract of franchise tag, I don't care as long as he stays. We can't go to the next season without a reliable kicker and Tucker is still among the best despite his "up and down" season.
If we can't get Ramsey in the 1st round, I want the Ravens to get BPA then Kendall Fuller in the 2nd round.
I think we're set with Forsett, Allen, LT and West.
If Monroe gets healthy and we bring KO back, there's no reason to believe that we won't have another RB in the Pro-Bowl.
Our O-Line is that good.
We may not have an AP, but we have good backs and our young boys have good potential too.
To me he's earned. I want him back.

Stop it brah
We just beat the Steelers with a 3rd string team and a 3rd string QB. when they're fighting for a playoff spot and the Ravens were done for the year.
The Ravens can beat any team in NFL if healthy, including our division rivals.

People have no idea how good Willie Henry is. There's zero chance he is not part of the 53-roster. (unless drugs, arrests, injuries happen as you said etc)
The Ravens got a massive steal with him. Along with Dixon, he is the player I'm more excited about. Don't be surprised if he becomes a full-time starter in 2 years. The kid is an Ox. Great burst amazing athlete, long arms and a gym rat.
