My gut tells me if either Corey Davis or Mike Williams is there at 16 we take either one. I love, love, love T J Watt in round two, even if we have to move up to get him. Round 3 i take Ahkello Witherspoon cb. with the other pick in round3 and round 4 i choose from Eluemunor g/t, Asiata og,Moton t/og and Siragusa. This would be one hell of a draft. my take. round 5 to 7 i dont care lol.
I think the ravens will trade back,, however if Davis ,Williams or Barnett is there at pick #16 i can almost guarantee you that we will stay put and draft one of these guys.
If we were to trade back say ten spot does anyone know whats the best value we could get for doing so? I think getting an extra 2nd or 3rd would worth it.
my gut tells me if Barnett is there at 16 he's our guy.
I think the ravens have really found themselves a gem in ronnie stanley. keep up the good work kid.
Ive been looking at other teams roster to see what teams are more likely to release a good cb and i have to say i think we should wait post june1. I see jacksonville , oakland and possible seattle all letting go of a good cb we could pick up. I also think we could make a trade with seattle , Munroe for Tye Smith, Simon or Jeremy Lane. In any event im confident we will get a cb to add to our group. Im also not ready to sleep on Canady, lets give our guys a fair chance to succeed. I think the addition of Leslie Frazier is going to do wonders for our db and our team in general.
I think it should be five plus 'one'. I put Judon in that group. I have very high expectation for him , he is gonna be a force to be recon with, mark my word. I'll label him " THE TERRORIST `` as of now lol.
I really like this young pick. seems like a very dynamic player
hope you play as mean as you look mr, Judon.
I strongly believe Bosa will be a cowboy. They need this guy badly.
9 hours ago, RavensDieHard21 said:I know that this forum is already flooded, but I figure that the recent Rams trade has made things interesting enough to garner one final mock draft. So here we go.....
1.) LA Rams- Goff, California kid stays where he belongs and gives the fans somethings to be excited about.
2.) Brownies- Wentz, Some think they take a "Money Ball" approach and select the actual BPA, but this is Cleveland we are talking about. Hue Jackson also will want another QB along with RGIII to groom while he attempts to put together a formidable roster. Franchises start with a QB so this is the way they go.
3.) Chargers- Tunsil, Some say that the Chargers have a good line and that Ramsey would be more ideal, but i think that is far fetched as Rivers has been getting lit up for years. Not selecting Tunsil to keep him upright would almost be unthinkable, even though they need D line. It is the deepest positional group in the draft so no big deal.
4.) Heartbreaking Cowboys- Bosa, Another argument that keeps being made is that no way Jerry lets Ramsey slide past them, which makes sense based on talent, but with Hardy and Gregory absent from the picture, pass rush is a must and Jerry will find it hard to pass the best one in the class, especially since they already selected a track star freak last year in Jones for their secondary.
5.) Jags- Jack, the interest that they have in Jack is no secret and neither is Bradley's preference to address the front 7 before the secondary. They get a versatile player that allows their coach to get creative.
6.) The Baltimore Ravens select..... Jalen Ramsey
,I may still deep down think Bosa is our pick, but as for now, I am going out on a limb and saying it is Ramsey. Every year there is at least one major prospect that early on takes a little surprising tumble, such as Leonard Williams last year, and I now feel it will be Ramsey. We all know what he can do and the pick everyone thought and still believes never makes into Black and Purple, actually does. He might develop into an all-pro CB or he might be a rare hybrid like the Honey Badger, either way, I see him as being a real pillar to re-building our defensive tradition.
36.) Jason Spriggs, I know everyone is demanding a Pass rusher/ CB tandem in RD 1 and 2, but I do not see Spence sliding this far without a trade up. He is a wild card, but we cannot be foolish and believe that many pass rusher desperate teams will shy away from him that long, especially the teams ahead of us at the top of the second. Realistically though, Monroe could crumble once again this season and Wagner with our luck could be leaving via FA next year, therefore we get a great back up and eventual successor for either T position. His technique, instinct, footwork and athleticism is impressive, but he will need to build more strength to really obtain potential.
70.) Shilique Calhoun, this one might be a reach, but I could see that after staying put for two rounds that Ozzie gets an itch and pounces on Calhoun at the back end of the second. But then again, Calhoun's weakness against the run might make teams weary of taking a situation based pass rusher that early on. With Z. Smith filling the Upshaw role, Calhoun could be a very valuable rusher for us to keep Suggs fresh. Frackrell and Ngakoue are more likely if a trade up if not sought after, so i'll keep them as the other options.
104.) Charles Tapper, Very well could go higher, but he is a project still and with our fingers crossed he land here.
130.) Adolphus Washington, I see this as our project player round where we dig for buried treasure.
4th RD Comp - Joe Dahl, Could be another winning lottery ticket for a mid round lineman.
4th RD Comp - Cyrus Jones, might make his way onto the defense in the nickel at times, but could also be a special teams stud, especially returning.
I really like your mock draft. i would be elated if we could actually acquired your first 3 picks. I think Calhoun will not be there at 70 and we would have to trade up to get him indeed. Another kid i like is Aaron Wallace Lb. overall tho great mock.
Here's what i think will happen comes draft day. I think two qb will go in the top 5. I also think Tunsil, Ramsay will be selected too. If we stay put at 6, i think we will select Bucknor,(i love this pick). Rd 2, if Jaylon Smith is there we take him., if not we take either Jason Spriggs or Efedi Germain. Rd 3, we take Shilique Calhoun or Willie Beavers , this of course is dependent on what we do in rd 2. I say we will wait until rd 4 to take a cb, only because the cb i would have taken in rd 2 will be gone ( namely, VH 111, Apple, William Jackson, Burns) . I really like Juston Burris with our first pick in rd 4.., if not Nick Vanhoose or Leshaun Simms. With our 2nd pick in rd 4 we go Colby Listenbee or Tajae Sharp. Compensatory pick in rd 4 we go Yannick Ngakoue or Dadi Nicolas and then we look for a Dt/Nt ,say Nile Lawrence Stample with our 2nd compensatory pick. Rd 6 and Rd 7 we could just add dept, maybe an Ilb , another cb or an O-Lineman. This is how i think our draft will unravel . We will then go on to win super bowl 51. Super bowl 52 and become the next football DYNASTY. Hell yeah!!!!
I honestly see Wentz and Goff going in the first 5 picks. I also see Ramsey, Tunsil gone too. I think we will choose from Jack, Buckner or Bosa. I would go Jack or Buckner in that order if we stay put at 6. I think there are very good pass rushers to be had later in the draft , eg, Dodd, Lawson, Floyd. I'm also really liking Shilique Calhoun,. I can also see us trading back to as far as St. Louis , in this case we would have to get their two 2nd round pick at the very least. I think we go pass rusher, OT, CB, pass rusher with our first 4 picks. Here's some CB i think we could choose from on day 2 or day 3. Leshaun Simms, Juston Burris, Sean Davis, Nick Vanhoose, Daryl Worley. We need an OT no later than day 2. Jason Spriggs. At worst i would settle for a Willie Beavers in the 4th round or late 3rd round. We also need to pick up another WR in later round , Kolby Listenbee or Tajae Sharp. We could then fill out the draft with an ILB and add debt at other positions. I think we will have a great draft . In Ozzie we trust.
RaineV1,, you hit the nail on the head. I agree with you 100%. If we could come away with Dodd and Spriggs i would be the happiest ravens fan . There's only two players i would take at 6 if available and thats Tunsil or Bucknor. If both are gone i would be all for trading back.
RIP Tray Walker. May God have mercy upon your soul. I was looking forward to seeing you play this year but God have other plan for you. One Love.
I hope we stay far away from Spence, i would not touch him with a 12 ft pole lol, at least not before rd 4. I did not like some of what he said in his interview. He's too much of a risk . Be warned.
It is so refreshing to listen to this Young old man speaks. What a wonderful addition. Thank you Ozzie. Welcome to the Baltimore Ravens Benjamin Watson.
We have Steve Smith as mentor. OH, and BW too. (Benjamin Watson).
Yes , Mike Wallace at 6.5mil per year for 2 to 3yrs would be freaking awesome.
We need to deprived the Steelers the possibility of a reunion lol.
Wow, Bryant is facing a one year suspension. Mike Wallace Value is about to go up. More reason for us to get him now if we can.
I have no doubt we will acquire instant coffee with our pick at number 6. If Deforrest Bucknor is there at 6 i could see us picking him. Can you imagine a defensive line with Brandon Williams,Timmy Jernigan and Bucknor. Do you guys realize how much this line would positively affects our pass rushers (Suggs,Doom,Smith) and our secondary. You know you gonna have to double team Brandon Williams, imagine Suggs, Doom,Jernigan and Bucknor having one on one match up.That's equals mismatch all day. As much as i am beginning to like Bosa, I know there's no way we can him and Bucknor. A guy i really, really, really love is Kevin Dodd. IT would be an absolutely dream come trough scenario if some way we could move back into the first round (including trading next year 1st round, hopefully 32nd pick
,) to get this guy. I am telling you guys KEVIN DODD will become a star in the NFL. He can rush, he can set the edge, he can drop back and cover, he can sniffs out screens. With the cap we now have i would definitely sign Mike Wallace if possible, and draft a guy like Kolby Listenbee in the later rounds, hence taking care of the wrs group. I would keep Munroe and try to get Jason Spriggs in the second round if possible. hence taking care of our O-line. (BTW, getting Dodd i would be willing to give up next years 1st, this year 3rd round and a 4th round or two to get him.). we could then use our two other 4th round picks (compensatory) to at least get a MLB and add dept with the rest of our picks. We still have more than enough cap to extend Brandon and sign Weddle if we want. Keep in mind we gonna cut Pitta and Lewis. i think our secondary , with the addition of Frazier and the resigning of Arrington will be good to go. This is my take. What do you guys think?
giving up next years first to move 8 to 10 spots up in the draft is a terrible idea.
Explain to me why this would be a terrible idea? I can't see why! If we acquire the players i think we should target (especially Dodd) our need for next year (2017) would be virtually ZERO. we would be set in all areas, O-Line, D-LIne, WRs, Pass rushers, Rb,Qb,. Remember this will be pick number 32 in next years draft. I respect your opinion , but i still think Dodd is an exceptional Player worthy of such transaction.
@glen ferguson l like your thinking it makes it exciting but Ozzie probably won't trade back in the first round to get Kevin Dodd. Ozzie definitely doesn't want to take a first round pick in next year draft. They should go after Eric Weddle before someone else gets him. Weddle and Will Hill will be a great combo. Weddle could be the deep saftey FS and Will Hill could be the SS and can substitute Webb from time to time. But according to Baltimore Sun, the Ravens should acquire Weddle because they have the cap space to do it so l hope Ozzie consider trying to sign him. Even Mike Wallace if they can.
I actually meant drafting DeForrest Bucknor at #6 first and then trading back into the first to get Kevin Dodd.
Well said regarding signing Mike Wallace.

After the first 3 wide receivers were gone, i was happy we didnt pick one in the 2nd round.. I think our group of wide receivers will in fact step up. Lets give these guys a chance people . Go Ravens , love our picks, love the two o-linemen too. No Boldin please. We all need to move on from him. Perriman,Wallace and Moore. Lets go!!! Our defense is gonna be SICK
