  1. Joe Flacco is as tough as they come, and will be back to start next season.
  2. 15 minutes ago Here come the Perriman Haters. Fans need to remember that he is still part of the Ravens and need to show support, don't discourage the kid.
  3. I love how great this fan base is. NOT
  4. RavenManiac#7 First of all, you're quoting Two different people's posts here. Everything you say here were Not my words. Some were, yes, but some were not, and you make No distinction on which were and which were not. And secondly, didn't we go 8 - 8 last year, and miss the playoffs altogether? Either I'm having a senior moment, or I may have entered a time warp. -- Ravens were 10-6 last year and went into Pitt and beat them and then went into NE and had the SB champs up against the ropes and forced them to pull out every trick in the book to beat us.
  5. RavenManiac#7 A minute ago So, all of a sudden all your players decided to suck at the same time, maybe they called a meeting and decided to synchronize the suckage OR just maybe the system is broken. On a team that is lackadaisical across the board, lacks discipline, effort and accountability across the board, it is high time to take a good look at the head coach. On the play that Dumervil got flagged, the entire defense was in disarray, Jernigan did not even bother to move, but Upshaw took the cake...he turned and started walking off the field as the Jaguars snapped the ball. This is with the game on the line. That tells you all you need to know about the mindset and commitment of this team. Could any of this nonsense happen on a Belichick coached team? C'mon, there's a standard of discipline and dedication that used to be enforced around here!!It doesn't matter what players you bring into this sick environment, they'll adapt to the rot. People can neg me till eternity, but I'll be satisfied in knowing that I voiced my opinion early and often on the need to fire Harbaugh. As long as he remains here, the culture would not change. It needs to happen sooner than later. Personally, I'll start looking for a new head coach right now, but I'll let Harbaugh ride out the rest of this miserable season, then thank him for his efforts, wish him luck, and send him on his way at the end of the season. Well, you certainly didn't get a neg from me. While I can't match your, apparently definitive, assessment of Harbaugh's total ineptness, I definitely Have begun to question whether he is the right man for our HC job. I really Do believe that he rode on the coat-tails of Ray Lewis for the SB victory during his tenure here. And I am becoming more and more convinced that his ego is a problem, he's always had time clock and game management issues, and that he has lost the players and the locker room. As much as I disrespect Belicheater for being the outright cheater that he is, there is little doubt that he is, also, a great HC, probably one of the best of all time. And the point you make about asking whether all this garbage we're seeing could exist under his watch, like it is under Harbaugh's is a very good and valid one. It most certainly would Not be tolerated. People would be gone. Players And coaches. Yeah, we've definitely had more than our share of injuries, and I think our talent is not what it needs to be, but to be honest, a Lot of our problems can be placed on the shoulders of Harbaugh. Like I said, I've had mixed feelings about him but, as this terrible season goes on, I'm leaning more and more towards the tough that he needs to go. Bisciotti, the best owner in the NFL and, possibly, all of professional sports, has too much class to speak out or make any knee-jerk reactions, but I have to wonder what is going through his head. Oh, to be a fly on the wall during the team's FO get together for the year's evaluation! I am very anxious to hear the next State of the Team's Press Conference. -- What about last season with all the injuries and distractions this team had to deal with, who's coat tail did Harbs ride then to take a team that had no business going up to NE and taking them to the wire in the playoffs? Maybe the problem is we have alot of guys who are fringe roster/ practice squad players who shouldn't be playing at all, but due to injuries and a serious salary cap issues they are currently dealing with, we just did not have the means to augment the roster properly and account for all that has happened this year and last.
  6. All the fans who say they are done watching and supporting this team, need to stop being so spoiled and think back to when we didn't have a team for a while, The Ravens have brought us a lot to be proud about and there are 20 plus other franchises in the NFL that would love to have had the type of success the Ravens have already had. Baltimore fans are by far some of the worst there are, and trust me Ive been to about 17 away stadiums to watch and support our Ravens, and trust me those other fanbases would love to have the success the Ravens had, but go ahead and stop watching them and supporting them, maybe you can run another team out of Baltimore.
  7. Man, one bad season and the true colors of an overrated spoiled fan base comes out. I know I will continue to be at every home game up in section 516 just like I've been since the stadium first opened.
  8. Im in Section 516 and I look for Dan every game, I try to bring the same fandom over to my section as he does. Love Ravens Gameday, the people you sit around year in and year out become extended family.
  9. Cue the Perriman is a bust chatter. Smh
  10. Tdot.to.Bmore 32 minutes ago Great...another player that nobody else wanted is on our 53 man roster. Just great. SMH
  11. I know I will be up in my section cheering my Ravens on just as much as ever this Sunday, but from the amount of tickets I've seen being sold on Facebook and other sites, we will truly see how fairweather this so called great fan base really is. I love my Baltimore teams I hate the majority of the fans around here, they are quick to turn on players coaches etc, and are truly spoiled by the amount of success the Ravens have had, But no need for me to talk about it you all will see come Sunday at all the empty seats and how quiet it will be at the stadium, I mean even the last home game, fans were sitting on their hands and leaving early and the Ravens were up fighting to hold on, RavenNation lol yeah ok. It sickens me how fast people turn on this team. Go root for the Skins or one of the other 20 teams that would love to have had the type of success the Ravens had so far.
  12. 10-6 here we come
  13. If we want to develop our young WR's we have to give them adequate snaps and packages to do so, Aiken and Brown have not been producing so why not give Waller, Ross and Givens more reps, matter of fact they need to make Marlon Brown a healthy scratch or give him ST duties only, his fall off from his rookie year to now has been atrocious.
  14. Don't like this move at all, Waller should have been getting increased snaps every game in place of Marlon Brown
  15. 20 minutes ago If we win tonight, that would make us 2-5. Just one game away from a playoff spot. No were not catching the Bengals and Probably not the Steelers. But we sure as hell can finish a season off better than the Raiders, Bills, Dolphins, and Chiefs. What did you see last week against SF that makes you think we can beat their div leader this week besides blind optimism? Sorry to tell you guys but being so optimistic about all these below average players we keep bringing in is why we have a bad team now. How many hype stories did we see about Brooks, Elam, Hill, Davis, Webb, Wright, Babin, Upshaw... we keep trying to convince ourselves these guys were good enough to take the place of legends and they're not even good enough for us to beat the Browns at home. I hear what you are saying, and agree its time to reload the talent pool, and I have faith that they will do just that next year when we aren't up against the cap so much, but even as bad as this team has been this year they have been in ever single game and have had chances to win every game, a few dropped td passes here or there, missed Fgs here and there and the season looks different, so that what gives us Die hard fans hope, that even as bad as OUR Ravens have been they have fought in every game and have taken these games down to the wire, so that alone should keep the fan base staying positive and rooting hard that we can string a couple wins together, its the NFL, a week by week league and this can get turned around.
  16. One rough season in a very long time and this so called great fan base wants Ozzie to step down, Harbs to go, fire the entire scouting department, etc. etc. Man I wonder what some of you all would say if the Ravens had a few bad years, I guess burn the stadium and move them out of town. Baltimore Raven fans the most fair weather fans around, Seriously have the Ravens not earned the benefit of the doubt to at least give them some time to turn this around either this year or next. All the fans calling for Ozzie to step down or Harbs, please go be a fan of 1 of the 20 other franchises that would have loved to have had the type of the success OUR Ravens have had in a very short period of time.
  17. Its funny to see how fickle this fan base is.YES LOSING SUCKS, but its something we don't experience here very often, and we have to take into consideration the salary cap hell we are going thru right now on top of some key injuries we have been dealing with, and yet the Ravens have still been in every single game and have had chances to win each game, again its tough to swallow especially when we have been so spoiled by the Ravens perennial success, but us fans need to settle down and have faith that OUR team will fix these problems and have this team reloaded and stocked back up for another long run of success again. RAVEN NATION we have nothing to be ashamed of, we are one of the best well ran organizations in all of sports. The RAVENS WILL BOUNCE BACK BETTER THEN EVER>
  18. Zeus Yesterday, 11:14 PM Ozzy, how did it feel to see the weapons you traded away kick our butts. OZZIE
  19. The team goes thru a rough patch and you all act like we are perennial losers., the team is dealing with cap hell right now, on top of that we have been snake bitten by injuries, there is no rhyme or reason for it other then a string of bad luck, so to reaf what some of you jackwagons are writing on here is laughable, So please just go down 95 and jump on the Skins bandwagon or go be a browns fan or be a fan of any of thw 20 or so teams out there that wished they have had the type of success the Ravens have had. It was a joke how quiet it was in the stadium late in the 4th quarter when the game was still up for grabs, I know I do my part and my other PSL owners in my section do their part, but hey I guess ill see you all at the next parade tho.
  20. Don't pay him, matter of fact we should cut him and fire everyone. LOL, Btw im kidding, I'm just saying this is the typical fan response when our team struggles. Face it we are spoiled by how successful this franchise has been, and trust me I hate seeing us loose these games, I am die hard fan just like the rest of you, I have had season tickets up in section 516 since 1999, and it pains me when this team struggles like this, we just have to believe they will make the right moves to fix these problems, it probably wont be this year, but the have earned the benefit of the doubt and I feel confident they will get this team back on top very soon.
  21. Time to let Pees go, and promote Clarence Brooks to DC, some may not know him but hes been our DL coach for a very long time and he always has that unit ready to play and stuff the run.
  22. Mystigo_Dragon- SSmith, Sr. is just what his name implies - a SENIOR citizen in NFL terms! We'd have done better keeping Bouldin - period! Its Anquan Boldin for one, and the Ravens did try to keep him and restructure his contract, but BOLDIN not Bouldin did not want to do that, so instead of out right releasing him, the Ravens got what they could for him. I do wish the Ravens could have made something work to keep him here, but sometimes the numbers just don't work.
  23. Fastynart A minute ago All good points. Steve Smith is a warrior unlike namby pamby Perriman who is milking his "injury" for all it is worth. How do you possibly know the extent of the injury, and how can you say he is milking it, you honestly think he doesn't want to be out there.
  24. Pound the rock, Forsett, Tailafero and Buck Allen. Play Action to the TE's down the seam and matchup with our size advantage with Waller and Brown. Hopefully Givens can give us the speed on the outside to keep Defenses honest. Its time to get back to Vintage Baltimore Football. DEFENSE its time to build off of last game, and start coming after offenses and putting pressure on them instead of sitting back. Dean Pees its time to hunt, Id rather us get beat bringing pressure then getting carved up and the Defense getting hit for 10 plus play drives. 1st quarter of season is over its time to win the nest 3 quarters of the season.
  25. To call Perriman soft or honestly chastise him at all is unjust right now, the Ravens were entirely to coy with his injury and hung this man out to dry. Let him heal up properly and judge him once he gets on the field. I realize us Ravens fans aren't accustom to the start we are having right now, but some of you are way to quick to write this team off so quick. Lets take it game by game, our Ravens are going to protect their home field sunday, and go get after Kaeprnick the next week to get us to 3-3. Cardinals are going to be very tough, but Palmer is a sitting duck back there if blitzes and pressure can get there for us, its time for the D to start playing together and the Offense to get back ground and pound. Lets prove everyone wrong and turn this season around, RAVEN NATION
