I hope Ray Lewis gives the Ravens a pregame speech in the locker room or better yet the vintage pre game huddle! PLAY LIKE A RAVEN is not just a sign on the wall to tap on the way to the field, it's a way of life.

I respect the hell out of Ozzie Newsome. But Dwight Freeney and Jared Allen were available and we wasted time on Babin. I know Freeney and Allen aren't the players that they were but both of them made plays for their teams this weekend. All we got out of Babin was two stupid drive extending penalties. Why couldn't the Ravens take a look at those two. Freeney was free agent and the Panthers got Allen for a 6th round pick.

The only thing hurt on Eugene Monroe is his pride, if he had any to begin with. Dwight Freeney just abused him with that spin move. I don't like seeing my Ravens getting beat on a play but that was disgusting. I know Freeney is a premiere pass rusher but his best days are behind him. He was playing golf until the Cardinals signed this week for crying out loud and he beats Monroe like that who is supposed to be a premiere left tackle. We will never have another Johnathan Ogden. Monroe, Mckinnie, Gaither, all were supposed to carry the tradition that Ogden set and all of them have failed.

All I can pray for is 10-6.

I still have hope for Breshad Perriman. As dark as this season has become I believe he will take the field sooner than later and will be that bright light. I just hope; like Odell Beckam Jr. who missed his first 4 games due to injury and took the NFL by the storm. Perriman will do the same and more.

This was some funny stuff. Steve Smith Sr.vs. Pacman Jones with lightsabres was LOL!! I love Star Wars as much as I love my Ravens. I believe we do need the Force and the Empire to save this season.

How come the Panthers were able to get Jared Allen for a 6th round pick and we had to waste time with Babin. I know Ozzie loves his draft picks as he should but 6th round for Allen is a steal. I know he's on the wrong side of 30 but he can still provide a pass rush or just simply line up correctly without getting penalized.(Jason the idiot Babin).

If he's good enough for the Legion of Boom to take a look at him, let's hope he will be a great pick up for us.

Don't be surprised if we keep losing like this that changes won't be made. Coach Harbs said the same thing about Cam Cameron and look what happened. Its been up and down with our last few DCs. Rex Ryan:UP-Greg Mattison:Down-Chuck Pagano:UP-Dean Pees: on the way down real fast.

Justin Tucker better get paid. Clutch and reliable kickers like him are hard to find. Just ask the Steelers. He's been damn near automatic since he was a rookie. The front office must make him a priority. Matt Stover was great for us for so many years and Tucker is already on his way to being a all time Raven.

I know Tory Smith wasn't a sure fire number 1 reciever but atleast he was still a threat on the other side of Steve Smith. You would have thought that after we struggled after letting Boldin go for basically nothing the Ravens would have worked out some kind of deal to keep Tory a Raven. When Perriman was drafted all that was said is that he's another Tory Smith, well we had the original. Atleast Tory was on the field. What's done is done but you just have to wonder. I understand not over paying players but when you have players like Boldin and Smith that were productive as Ravens, there has to be some way to work out deals to keep these players especially when your WR depth chart reads; Steve Smith and the chipmunks.

I don't agree with the story that Flacco has to deliver late. Joe has put us in the position to win all three games this season. Broncos defense made a great play to get the ball from Gillmore, the defense gave up the game winning drive to the Raiders (bad coverage and penalties; I'm talking to you Jernnigan.), and the defense came up small again against A.J. Green plus Joe made the fourth down throw to Steve Smith which would have kept the final drive alive. Of course it was nullified by KO's face mask penalty. I just don't understand why Flacco gets so much hate thrown on him by these so called "experts" and reporters. I'm not saying he's flawless this season but I believe Joe has put us in position to win these first three games. The whole burden of this 0-3 start should not be put all on Flacco's shoulders.

I really hate seeing other people struggling to do Ray Lewis' dance.

Was I the only one waiting for A.J. Green to go off on us. When Mosely and Doom made they great play, I just couldn't celebrate the lead because I knew it was a matter of time before 18 to get us. Damn if he didn't.

If we can't beat the Steelers with Mike Vick at QB then I'm afraid we are done. This is a perfect set up for us to get some wins. Big Ben is out, we got the Browns next, and then we have the Niners. Kaepernick threw 4 picks against the Cardinals and they have no home field advantage because you can barely hear the crowd at Levi Staedium during the Niners home games. If we do what we are supposed to do, this will put us 3-3 before we face the Cardinals on monday night. The football Gods are helping us Ravens. C'mon let's go!!!

It wasn't a bad idea to stay out west but football palyers are creatures of habit just like the rest of us. It's hard to stay away form your family, friends, or even the simple things that you like to do in your normal surroundings to get yourself ready for what tasks stand before you. I guarantee we will see a much stronger performance from our Ravens the next go around.

Now I see why the Jaguars were more than willing to trade Eugene Monroe to us.

There is no need to panic fellow Ravens fans. If we were getting blown out or looked awful in those two losses (i.e. Colts and Eagles) I would be worried. Both losses were close games. We're just a catch or a playcall away from winning those two games. Going into our division games is perfect timing to get things right and we will be 3-2 before going on the west coast again and take on niners and the Cardinals. This time we'll hit the coast fast, physical and pi**ed off! Rise and Conquer.

I can't remember if it was Q or Stan from our radio brodcast, but one of them said that Eugene Monroe will solidify the left tackle position for us just like Jonathan Ogden. Still waiting to see that.

I thought our defense played great. You consider the last time we played the Broncos; Peyton threw 7 touchdowns on us and Julius Thomas was truck driving over Michael Huff. To hold that offense with Thomas and Sanders to field goals, held them under 300 yards and multiple sacks. That's a strong defensive performance

This is the perfect opportunity for Courtney Upshaw. I believe this is his contract year. He was drafted out of Alabama as that force at outside linebacker. Terrance Cody failed to live up to that crimson tide defense legacy but C.J. Mosely without question lived up to it. Now it's Upshaw's time.

I'm cool with us picking up Charles James. I like seeing him on Hard Knocks and I think he could be productive given the opportunity.

Why do they keep posting these "is Flacco elite" stories on this website? Flacco is our quarterback. He's the best in our franchise history, he has one of the best if not the best post season winning pct. in the NFL amoung active qbs, and he's Super Bowl MVP. Flacco has out played Tom Brady in Foxborough in 2 AFC championship games and last seasons divisional game. If our secondary was healthy and Belichick didn't play school yard offense we would have won that game. Enough is enough; January Joe is a winner. Joe Flacco is the quaterback of the Baltimore Ravens.

This is just the beginning of what is to come! I said this before that I believe in Marc Trestman. Coach Harbs made the right choice for coach Kubiak's successor. You can't judge Trestman on what happened with the Bears and think that's going to happen to us. We have Joe Flacco not Jay Cutler. Even though this is just the first pre season game, it's great to see our starting offense look this good.
