  1. Banner is a scrub.
  2. Anyone who isn't excited about Bowser is going to be pleasantly surprised. Last season he had 47 tackles, 12 TFL, 8.5 sacks, 1 FF. He missed five games though. Averaging/crunching those numbers if he had played in those last five games he would have finished the season with 77 tackles, 19.5 TFL, 14 sacks...give or take. That is unreal production and it's not like Houston had a bunch of cupcakes on their schedule. They played some legit schools so he went up against legit lineman. He has game ready size, long arms, elite athleticism, quick twitch fiber, instincts, etc, etc. He tested extremely well at the combine. This will be a player.
  3. Love this pick. Bowser will be a stud. Just watch.
  4. Excellent pick and great value for where we got him.
  5. Someone in this thread needs to step off the ledge. Lol.
  6. Barnett was never going to wow the scouts with his combine numbers, but the tape and collegiate career production doesn't lie. He is a gamer and his motor does not shut off. Honestly, he is very much in the Suggs mold. Their combine numbers and size measurables are eerily similar. So was their collegiate production. Obviously Suggs had a season for the ages in '02, but you have to take into consideration he was facing P12 tackles and in a very blitz, rush happy ASU defense. Put Barnett on the Sun Devils and his numbers go up. His numbers against SEC OLmen are impressive in themselves. I think Barnett has the make-up to be a stud. Please let him slide to us at 16. As much as I love Corey Davis and Reuben Foster, I'd have a hard time passing on Barnett. Those are my three top wants(realistic wants) and I'd be happy with either one of them, but we need Suggs replacement and I'm just not sure we currently have that guy on the roster.
  7. You never know how it will play out with guys coming of injuries. Ifo Ekpre-Olomo was a 1st rd lock at one point and ended up dropping to the last round. Forgive my ignorance, but is an achilles injury considered a tough one to come back from or do people ususlly come back as strong? I'm sure there are some doctors on the board.
  8. I wouldn't be opposed to taking a receiver at 16 as long as those receivers name were Davis or Williams. Ross is pretty dynamic, but I don't trust his knee and he is on the smaller side. I just question his durability at the next level. I'd be happy with Davis or Williams or Juju as the 2nd/3rd rd pick.
  9. Let's take a guy who likes to carry weed and guns around with him...in college. Sounds logical. A guy with a gun cruising around Baltimore sounds like a great plan. There is no denying his talent and he would be an excellent fit on the right bookend, but I think he is too risky of a pick at 16.
  10. You lost me at "stacked talent." Joe has never had a true #1 receiver who could just take a game over. SSS, Q, etc, etc were all serviceable, but their best years were behind them regardless of the stats they put up at Baltimore. It's time for the FO to get Joe an OBJ, Jones, Brown, AJG, Megatron type receiver. Joe isn't elite, but he is definitely not a bad QB. The FO needs to get Joe a real #1 target to go with the pieces already in place and they need to make sure the have a line that can protect him. Joe isn't overly mobile so he doesn't do well when he is pressured. If he has a line that can give him time, a true #1 receiver, a guy who can stretch the field(Perriman) and a solid RB, Joe can carve defenses up. The defense is almost set. We just need a pass rusher, another corner and another LB. If Ozzie nails this draft, then we can make a post-season run. Ozzie has to hit this draft out of the park.
  11. Hopefully we go for one of Foster, Barnett, Davis or M. Williams at 16. Then one of White, Tabor, T. Williams, Juju Smith, Lawson, Z. Cunningham in rd 2. Not sure if any of these guys will be here for our pick in the 2nd rd though? Trade up and snag one of them. Sidney Jones in rd 3 is a no-brainer if he is there.
  12. Where did you see that Davis runs a 4.8 40? There are analysts who believe he is a 4.4/4.5 guy.
  13. Overrated.
  14. He is still dealing with an injury.
  15. Davis is the top receiver in this class hands dowm imo. I think he would be a great pick at 16. Joe would finally have a true #1 receiver who isn't past his prime. Isn't about time the FO gives Joe a young, legit target? I know they took BP in the 1st rd a couple of years ago, but anyone with a lick of football knowledge knew BP was a bit of a hit or miss project. He was considered the biggest boom or bust guy to come out in the 1st rd of that draft. I think BP can be a solid #2 guy, but I think he is going to be a one-dimensionsal player during his career. Matching him up with a guy like Davis could be a deadly tandem. They compliment eachother nicely. Davis can do it all though. He has enough speed to stretch the field, but he also has the skillset to be a nasty possesion receiver who can move the chains; be deadly in the short, intermediate game; highpoint the ball and make tough, contested catches; and also be a mismatch nightmare in the redzone. He can do it all. Put 10 more lbs on him and he could bully opposing teams corners. Perriman was a bit of gamble, but Davis is smart money. My top wants at 16 are Davis, Foster, Howard or Barnett(no order). I am a little nervous on the latter. Barnett could have a Suggs-like skillset or he could never make any kind of impact at all. I love his college film and his relelentless motor, but I just don't know if he has the elite athleticism and quick twitch to be an elite edge bender in the league. He is technically sound, has a great motor, but he is lacking in some things. We shall see. Foster really intrigues me. I think there are more glaring needs on the roster than ILB, but he has elite potential. Pairing him up with CJ might be too good to pass up regardless of other pressing needs. I am not worried about his red flags. We need some more nastiness. And Howard has Gronk-esque potential. Howard will be an absolute stud at the next level. Then we would also have the luxury to let go of a few TEs who are just taking up spots on the roster. The draft can't get here soon enough.
  16. I've had the pleasure of watching Juju play live twice and the guy is an absolute beast. He isn't a burner by any stretch, but he is extremely physical, runs great routes(so he gets seperation) and has very soft hands. He catches everything. One of the toughest kids I've seen play. The Q comparison is pretty spot on, but I think Juju might have more raw athleticsim at the same stage. Juju would be a good get in the 2nd imo. He would be a good fit with Perriman and Wallace. While those two can stretch the field, Juju is the guy to move the chains, make tough contested catches, be a mismatch nightmare in the redzone and be a great, reliable target for Joe. Kid has a ton of heart and is built really well. Love him.
  17. Calling us the "worst fans in football" is a term of endearment.
  18. Lawson got owned by Cameron Robinson and Jonah Williams. Both are 1st rd caliber tackles though so it makes sense. Lawson in the 2nd wouldn't be a bad pick.
  19. Just add Beastmode and call it a day.
  20. Well, it looks as if Ozzie drafted a bunch of All-Pro's last year. That was probably one of the most homerish posts I've ever seen. Lol.
  21. The corner position has been a mash unit for years so let's overpay for an average corner with a history of being injury prone. Seems logical. This is the deepest class of CB's in years so address the corner position in the draft. There should be solid #2 caliber CBs in the top two rds. I wouldn't pay Claibourne more than $4mill a year. If he doesn't take this $5mill offer he is a bonehead.
  22. I think he's the best WR in the draft. I like him more than Williams and Ross.
  23. Williams is a #1 receiver, but he will be gone before we pick l and we know Ozzie won't trade up. I think the kid from Western Michigan is very good as well, but I think getting a corner or a pass rusher is a more of a glaring need at our pick. Williams is the only must take kind of guy if he were to somehow be available at our pick(which he won't be.) John Ross is a big time college playmaker. I don't see him having close to the kind of production he had at in college at the next level. I have seen Kupp play in person twice and the kid can play. He would be a good get in the 2nd rd and a great get in rd3 imo. I have seen Juju play twice in person as well and I love his game. Tough kid, runs good routes and has soft hands. He isn't a burner, but he'd be a good get to go along with Perriman and Wallace. I'd be excited about Kupp or Juju in rd2/rd3.
  24. Mixon has had red flags since high school. Oregon started to recruit him, but backed off because of several reports of glaring character concerns. He wanted to be a Duck badly, but the staff ended up wanting nothing to do with him. I agree that people deserve second chances, but the incident at Oklahoma wasn't his first incident and it probably won't be the last. I hope the Ravens don't even peep in his direction. Sounds like a headache.
  25. I get that the FO's MO is to get an old vet after being cut, but maybe it's about time they try and grab a young, big fish. I honestly have no clue what the cap is, but Pryor would probably be a 10-10.5m a year guy. Is that totally unrealistic?
