Thats what i started to think. I feel lawson gave him trouble with his strength, but check out alexander he had a good game vs nc state. Shoulda had a pick on the last play of filmhe showed a lot of what he's known for and if anything I think it raised more concerns about Stanley than anything
shaq is actually growing on me. He had a strong game against notre dame against ronnie stanley. Check it out on draftbreakdownI'm personally not a fan of shaq. He reminds me a lot of Upshaw, slow and strong and seemingly just average in the pass rush, I think Carl is the more appropriate Lawson for us
word is he will be declaring early. I do agree with the fact that there isnt much tape but i found some on draftbreakdown.com. you can also watch other players films like shaq lawson and just look for mackensie when you get thereyeah it's a comparable situation. You can see on tape why qbs don't look his way though. He is in the back pocket at all times and always seems to be in perfect position to make a play on the ball I the rare event that he is targeted. If he declared next year instead, I think he gets all the hype that hargreaves is getting Now
Although i completely agree and thinkwe will switch a few more time before draft day lol. I think if bosa manages to get to us biscotti is gonna push ozzie to take him because of a desire for a pass rusher. Especially since this draft seems weak at the olb position and deep in secondary playersI'm kind of starting to lean back over to Ramsey as well. I think the versatility will put him above vh3 on our board. With the amount of injuries we've suffered recently we will value players higher who we can move around and sub in for somebody in a pinch.
why is everyone so big on tunsil. Doesnt he worry you even a little that he could be a bust.Tunsil, Bosa, Hargreaves. In that order.
he seemed to get thrown at a lot against alabama. He did really well with his tackling and broke up a couple short passes (one was a fade) but i saw him get beat deep twice and outjumped both times once by a true freshman(even if he is a stud). It worries me isnt that hes necessarily getting beat deep but that when he has a chance to recover he seems to get outjumped by the receiver most likely because of his size and alabama took advantage of that. Im just worried how hes going to match up when other teams try to put big bodies on himhow many times was he thrown at though? That is important to put things into context
Ahead of the dolphins lol
i feel like its been this whole year. He has 4 picks (mainly off deflections or bad passes) but he only has like 2 or 3 passes defensed, i know he doesnt have much else to prove but this is the sec champ game. Anyways ill be looking at mackensie alexander later tonight im really starting to turn the corner on himYup, Hargreaves isn't playing well today so far
Just watched vh3 get burned by calvin Ridley a true freshman (talented one at that) then the ball gets underthrown and ridley still manages to outjump 2 florida defenders to make the catch. Not what you wanna see from vh3
i feel the combine may boost his stock as well. Ill be watching him during the championship and bowl gamesI've seen a small amount of film on him and he really seems to stick like glue to his man, and it looks so incredibly effortless, however he is smaller and I've seen no evidence of ball skills yet, and from the sounds of it he is raw since he's a sophomore who had mental lapses in big moments as a freshman. The raving reviews of his character and work ethic and film study relieve those concerns a bit. If he turns out to have those ball skills then he could be a real steal at the bottom of the first, he's a guy I'm hoping is on the radar as a trade up candidate assuming his stock stays where it's at now.
im only concerned with his productivity throughout the college level. Hes played 2 years and has had no pick? Theres nothing special there and i cant find much tape at all on him to prove anything. To me hes a wildcard.I think Alexander is catching steam as the second best corner in the draft and I have seen many pundits putting him in the top 15. He's actually one guy I'd be okay trading back for and one that I don't think gets talked about enough.
you really think so? I think he has the range to play fs hes very long and is a track star. Is it his decision making cause i feel like he should be fine to play the position maybe not immediately but he shows natural ball skills. His freshman tape showed him timing hits perfectly as a safety and knowing to avoid hitting the head. Check it out. He was on a national championship defense as a freshman and they put him in a hybrid safety/nickleback roll (which our nickles constantly get burned) a position which requires a rangy athletic player. They basically just let him roam the whole feild and let him fly around and make plays. I could see him as a perfect fit for that roll https://youtu.be/iqrc1revsNMlooking past red flags with our first high pick I. a long time could make a bust that much worse. I like Ramseys swagger a well but I think there are bigger red flags than that, like a lack of range on the back end
i do think ogbah is a freak and would be a great pick and an immediate boost to our pass rush. However i would take ramsey or hargreaves over him. But ogbah would be my next choice regardless of who is left. I just hope we dont pass on those guys for treadwell. If theyre not there then yes take treadwell but other than that i wouldnt take him. Im also not big on the idea of a offensive tackle although i would understand the pick, I feel it wouldnt be the impact player we need to make a run next year.I'm not second guessing Ramsey at all, but I really like Stanley and Ogbah, especially Ogbah, he just stands out to me. I still would love to have Ramsey here though, my opinions on him haven't changed while my opinions on Ogbah have, I think he's a really good prospect honestly.
Mckenzie alexander
Not sure what to think of this kid as hes a five star recruit and was the 4th best prospect out of 2013 according to espn. Hes a redshirt sophmore and seems to be expected to enter early for the draft, now the thing is that he has all the traits and athleticism to be a great corner but so far through college he hasnt put up great numbers he has a total of 10 passes defensed and no picks through 2 years. Not sure what to think of him but hes as talented as any player in the draft but theres not much production from him. He could go as early as the top 15 or as late as the end of the second round. Hes a prospect worth to keep an eye on. I see his stock skyrocketing after the combine though. Freak athlete
i feel like this has to be the year we look over those red flags. I mean. If we end up somewhere with like the 8th pick id want ramsey to fall. Hes the kind of talented freak athlete we need. I was watching his freshman tape because thats how i feel we would use him as a hybrid nickle corner and as a rangy safety where i think he could excell at in the nfl. He can later be groomed into whatever we need him to be i feel ogbah is a great prospect but im afraid he doesny bring the versatility that ramsey brings to the table. And hey if people have a problem with his attitude the more i think he should be a raven. He would piss teams off when hes on the feild and i feel like we desperately need some swagger on this team, i also would love stanley but if we want to do anything next year i feel we need a real impact rookie in the first round. Not sure an offensive lineman could do that for usstanley has been viewed pretty closely to ramsey in terms of value for a while now, and ogbah is very high for some people, including me, ramsey has a lot of red flags.

Really starting to think we should jump on this kid in the second round. To me he shows effort and isnt afraid to get dirty and tackle, shows ability to set edge as a corner and force the play inside. He shows a nack for attacking the ball and even shows versatility as a returner. Love the talent still a little raw but thats what makes him a second rounder other than that i think he can be as talented as some of the best corners in this class
Im a little surprised you put ogbah and stanley ahead of ramsey. I understand people are starting to second guess him but hes been a star since he was a freshman on a record setting national championship defense. Let alone I think his versatility puts him ahead of them 2, hes played 3 years in a row at different positions and has excelled in eachAt the 8 spot my top 5 would be Hargreaves, Stanley, Ogbah, Ramsey, and Lawson in order.
Id say a lot of people will start to be big on Emmanuel ogbah considering our odds for a top 5 pick are slimming down. I see us going 5-11 or 6-10 and well pick somewherw between 6 and 10.
i agree. He seems strong and powerful against the run and flashes in pass protect but i feel he doesnt have the technique down and seems slow to react at times and is forced to time his backpedal. I also noticed myles garrett from texas am give him some fits, garretts athleticism and speed off the edge seemed to give him trouble. Not sure how hed stack up against guys like von miller.Yeah, LT's that get taken for their strength and potential can be a bit risky. I think even in a worst case scenario that Tunsil could be an amazing RT, but there's the chance he won't be the franchise LT people expect him to be.
Ill say laremy tunsil. Nobodys mentioning him so i will. He kinda reminds me of oher when he tries to time the snap lol
mostly 4-3 prospects..:/
Thats how i feel. :/ it might be better to hold off one more year and try to get lucky with myles Garrett next year lol
At least high draft picks
Now were getting somewhere. Lol.I see Ogbah as a better prospect than bud dupree
Though if not ogbah who else do you see as a good rusher, im beginning to doubt floyd but who else is there?
there were about 5 of those players last year. Idk about this year. Maybe ogbahI'll pass..upshaw has been such a disappointment. Just develop someone that has a first step

I saw both mocks and i could see both as a high probability, at least top 10. Even though a lot of people will disagree, but i think theres a high chance we pass on tunsil because of the domestic violence charge. If thats the case he wouldnt even be on our board. I feel the pick will be between hargreaves and ramsey baring the fact that bosa is gone. The only thing i have to say is; if we do decide between ramsey and vh3 and we pick ramsey, they shouldnt label him as a corner because if thats what they're looking for vh3 is the better pick but if they use ramsey properly and i think they can. He would be the better choice
