For what one pick, is he saying san fran would move up one spot for our 6th. Or san fran to trade up to 3 or 4 for a qb, cause it wouldnt make sense for them to trade up one spot when they know were not drafting a qb

Pretty much sums up how i feel about calhoun.

Thats what i thought before hand, but then i went back to the tape and he does show a good first step. More impressive than i was expecting yet he isnt consistent with it. He seems hed rather fight with his hands, and gets too conservative with it. I think the problem is the lack of aggressiveness. I think he definitely has the ability and has showed production to prove his case.Â

Ive been turning on Calhoun lately. I used to think he was stiff and slow in his pass rush but i watched again and he really turns the corner well at times, has a nice first step and uses his hands well although he can get into a slap fight at times. Â He has a really impressive frame but he doesnt consistently overpower other players. He could probably have a wider base and add more muscle in his arms but hes already 250. From what ive heard from a lot of scouting reports on him is he shows he can do everything well they just have issues with his motor and demeanor, he needs to be more violent they say. I like the idea of having him in a rotation with the guys we have and let him develope behind suggs, have harbs light a fire under him like hes doing with jernigan and we could have a great player in the 2nd maybe even 3rd round, could be one of those guys who falls to round 3. Too soon to tell but i feel were gonna get a real good steal in round 3 like carl davis last year
Bienvenue mon ami!!!! I lived in france the earlier parts of my life as well.Â
I like the mock a lot although im not too familiar with your mid round picks, the only thing with treadwell is if our front office really feels impressed enough by him to have him rated high enough on our board. He has to run at least a sub 4.5 and show a good vertical, but if the draft plays out like you had it i see it being a choice between stanley, alexander, buckner, and treadwell in any order at this point. I think we really need a big contribution from our pick and he will have to be a day one starter, i dont see that from buckner or stanley because buckner will get lost in our rotation with all the guys we have and like you, i really dont want a left tackle, we need playmakers, so it comes down to treadwell and alexander and id be happy with either or, it just depends who perfoms better at the combine.

I watched the senior bowl and all the analysts said hes been honest and strait forward about it, they think his stock is rising and hes really showing his past is really just the past. Figures you got it from walter. I honestly dont read into walter much i feel its way off on a lot of things

And if so, how far into the first would you think they may be willing to trade up to get him? I really think he is one of the Best prospects we could land this year and if he begins to slides to the 20s, i would love to see us give a future 2nd or maybe our 2nd and 3rd this year to move up and grab him. It would be a real statement move and a good one I believe
Is he really bombing his interviewst though? What ive heard is hes been saying allthe right things. What makes you think hes bombing them?

Meet paul mcroberts, small school big time player and kid. Measured in at the senior bowl at 6'1 202 hands 9 3/4, arms 33 1/2. Looks good on tape, very athletic but it is small school, lets see what he does at the senior bowl

Holy James Bradberry, please draft him in Round 4.
I looked at jordan jenkins measurables and holy cow, 6"2 257 with arm of 34" and hands of 11"!!!!!!!!! Jeeze and hes been showing good so far
Â
Thats what i was thinking and im still looking at, we need players who have speed or just a natural athletic ability. Playmakers....the search goes on and onHe looks pretty decent, definitely needs to hit the weight room cause he looks like a wide receiver out there. But he looks like a good fit as a 3-4 OLB as he seems more agile than most guys that are 6'5"+, obviously he's a project but we could use some faster guys at almost every position on this team and he could help that.
Alex mccalister from uf is an interesting prospect. I liked what i saw from him against vandy and Kentucky, he showed a nice ability to bend the edge and shows good size and athleticism, he has a red flag cause he got dismissed from Florida for what i think is smoking pot but im not sure, anyone know more about this kid cause i liked what i saw on tape, hes 6,6 240 but very slim so hes not standing out vs the run yet he shows the speed and bend to get to the qb in a hurry and its something our front seven needs. He seems to be a sleeper in my eyes probably 4th round or later

You should put stanley up there
ya its a real problem, i just dont see ramsey as a guy that would fix it, maybe in the future but not now. But hey who knows maybe webb will work out well only time will tell but i feel were gonna let this group of safeties play it out, we have a lot invested in all of them and i feel thats the position ozzie will let be like wide receiver was last year. It may end up being our undoing unless elam or brooks play like their talentlol I know I was just fooling. I don't think they see Webb as an ideal FS. He has lost a ton of explosion and speed and I personally don't think they trust anyone on the team outside of hill who they prefer at SS
no i was referring to webb as the guy they trusted the most out of the guys we already haveyou think we moved Webb to FS because we don't trust a college prospect that we haven't drafted?
Lol ROLL TIDE!!!!! Seams a bit high on spence, never heard him being a top 10 pick. Didnt know he was that good. Anyone got any good tape or article on this kid i know he was highly recruited by ohio state but left, did he ever prove anything in college?
Im pretty sure he would be a corner. Like you said webbs the free safety and we have will hill and a ton of unproven talents. I really think ramsey will play corner his first few years, either outside or slot and maybe use him as a linebacker in a dime package but i dont think we would trust him at saftey, i think thats why we moved webb thereStarting to ease up on my Ramsey hate, only got a few questions.
1. What would he play in his first few years with Webb at FS?
2. Who would play Safety when Ramsey is not?
http://draftbreakdown.com/video/vernon-hargreaves-iii-vs-tennessee-2015/Not even close; Hargreaves is an adequate tackler and can set the edge fairly well given his size while Alexander becomes virtually useless when the ball is being carried.
He misses about 4 or 5 tackles in this game, the worst one in my eyes is when he comes on a blitze on 3rd and 1 and cant rap up the guy and take him down. Ive read on a lot of articles that scouts are worried about his tackling ability because he has small arms, if you blitze him he wont be able to take anyone down. I feel alexander can because hes known to be physical, he not afraid of contact but i will say he does miss some and he could learn better form, but thats just my take and im honestly not going to be too critical of a corner for tackling too much because like i said before not many do
http://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Draft-Scouting-Reports/Scouting-Report-Vernon-Hargreaves.asp
Thus pretty much sums up what i think of hargreaves
well vh3 has that same issue but i do think alexander shows good form and has long arms to rap the guy up. He doesnt seem afraid or unwilling to tackle just hasn't had much playing time. I do think his tackling is an issue just not as bad as i think hargreaves is at it. I think hargreaves is a terrible tackler by form and by default too, hes got really short arms. I see him have problems taking guys down, i honestly think a lot of corners have issues tackling nowadays because of form. Ramsey really is the exception hes a fantastic tacklerHow do you handle his "tackling" though?
I just can't get enough of Judge Tread. This kid is going to be special. Wasn't too keen on taking him at 6 a few months ago but after watching more and more tape of him, he'd be perfect for Flacco and this system in general. I don't think he's a reach at all where we're picking. He plucks the ball out of the air and make it look effortless. He was built for the North with his physicality and savviness. Him and BP learning from SSS would be a special gift to them.
Alexander would shut him down, i think hes got a better ceiling but guys like treadwell and vh3 just have a higher floor
Im sticking with my alexander pick at 6. I really think hes worth it
Awesome article really shows some good points on alexander and why i think hes worth it at 6
ya will fuller from notre damn and corey coleman from baylorTrue. Any speedsters in this draft? Haven't been paying attention to a lot of the WR's after Tread, Boyd and Doctson.
There should be a vh3 or alexander thread. thats a good debate

I really like the way this article was written. Really supports the idea of trading down if our guy isnt there at 6.
