Really have to be careful with that kind of play, more often than not it's the OT's fault for "forgetting" about the DE and trying to do something else. But I'll have to watch it again, don't remember it so I can't put a jugement immediatly.

Take a look at it and get back to me. Cause the olineman played him and barnett just went right by him

Scouts are apparently raving about Conley.

Just reporting what I'm seeing here and there.

True keep it up man. I love seeing new names. I saw him vs wisconsin he really showed up on tape and i didnt know him until after the game when you mentioned him here. Saw that q wilson has only allowed like 2 catches all year. Idk how i feel about his character though....i like tabors attitude more but neither of them really impress me. I mean someone asked tabor what he would do other than football and he said "i dont know" Noth that thats a huge deal but i like seeing prospects who do have a back up plan in life. I feel like ozzie does look at little things like that. Remember he follows these kids on twitter, so im trying to do the same thing ?

Just off the top of my head, King, Tabor, Wilson, Jones, Lewis, and Conley are going to be guys that could go before him.

Conley doesnt have much tape or experience. Jones is still very slim yet very physicla, and lewis is extremely small. Thats the knock i see against those guys. I mean last year we had like 4 or 5 go in the top 25. I think this years class is better but i still havent fallen in love with one guy just yet. Havent seen much of wilson.

He might not even be a top 5 CB in this class. It's loaded with corners.

Size speed combo will make him a top 20 pick. History has shown that to be true. A lot of great corners this year are either undersized or just cant handle the slot well (tankersly)

He can do both but hes lockdown outside

  5. Thought this would be a fun post. Just list your favorite players at their respected position. They dont have to be the best player just the one you like the most and would fit the ravens the best. Obviously we dont need kickers, or quarterbacks etc. With that said heres my list to start things off

Qb:(just cause) deshaun watson-i just love watching him play. Hope the browns are too dumb to pass on him. Hes a leader and a winner

Rb: dalvin cook-i believe hes the best rb in college. Explosive. Tough. Can break tackles better than you think and keeps those legs running in traffic. Shown this year so far he can be an every down back as well.

Wr-travis rudolph-this one was tough. I was torn between corey davis and mike williams as well but went with rudolph. I think hes very underrated. Shows good route running ability, always seems to ve open and is awesome after the catch. Great agility and has long arms. Good character too. Would really give us something we dont have in our recieving core. So would williams and davis too.

Cb:jourdan lewis- typically i like the bigger corners but this kid can flat out cover and thats what we need. We just need someone who can glue a wide reciever cause nobody on this roster can do that consistently enough. Shows hes not afraid of contact and thats something you always want to see with smaller corners

S: justin evans- not many know of him but i saw him vs ucla and he balled out. Can knock your lights out as he did to derrick henry TWICE last year. Has shown better coverage ability this year and we really need a replacement for webb.

Olb: derrick barnett- ive noticed not a lot of people are big on him but i love the kid. Emotional leader and has more bend and speed for a guy his size. Sets the edge extremely well. Most important, hes had consistent production throughout his career in the SEC

De: demarcus walker-leader, nonstop effort, and smart. Has had great production throughout his career. Probably has the best swim move in all of college football. Still looking into him but i love what ive seen from him so far.

Ilb: zach cunningham- like youve seen on this list another high production guy. Was first team all sec last year. Has speed and length to cover tight ends and is just a tackling machine. Gets off blocks extremely well with his long arms and finds ways through traffic to get to the ball carrier. Only negative is hes 6-4 230 so not very big , and has a tendency to tackle ball carriers from behind which causes him to miss a few from time to time. Have seen him try to arm tackle as well. Nothing that cant be fixed though.

    True.

Another guy that seems interesting if he's there for the Ravens to pick is Dawuane Smoot from Illinois. Very athletic edge rusher that's good at mixing up the moves he uses.

Ya im pretty interested in him. I want to see more production out of him the rest of this year though. Especially against top competition. I liked what i saw against nebraska though. I agree with the size and athletecism though. Just want to see him put it all together. His counter part seems to have good upside too. Cant remember his name. Too bad he plays for illinois. Theyre not very competitive lol

Check out demarcus walker, i mentioned him earlier.

  7. Demarcus walker is an interesting prospect. 6-3 280 senior DE from fsu. Has a great motor. Leader of that defense. Pass rush specialist. Had 4.5 sacks vs ole miss and they all came in the second half! Most in the fourth quarter! Also blocked an extra point to win the game vs miami to win the game (funny thing is that the coach said they were gonna rush from the left side and he said no, rush on the right) like to see more moves from him but he seems to have mastered the swim move, hence the 4.5 sacks.

Malik Hooker could be a great pick. He has the range to be a center fielder for us, and he really goes after the ball when it's in the air.

Hes only a redshirt sophmore though. Not much film on him other than this year. I think it would be best for him to stay another year. He could be a first rounder i just think he needs another year

  9. Zach cunningham ilb from vandy is a guy ive had a look at since last year. I beleive he led the SEC in tackles if i remember correctly. Hes a long linebacker, a little thin 6-4 230, but is a tackling machine! Had 19 including a fourth and one stop to win the game vs goergia. Has long arms and can run with tight ends. Sheds block well for his weight thanks to his long arms. Avoids traffic to the ball carrier well but at times can take bad angles causing him to tackle the ball carrier from behind, can get in trouble with horse collar tackles because of that. Otherwise very smart kid. Has great intangibles and play recognition. Intellegent kid too, majoring in economics.

He reminded me of Shilique Calhoun in that he moves nicely but once the T is on him it's over. His handwork is horrible and he can't convert speed into power.

I think he uses his hands very well, he has a great arm under move when positioned inside the tackle. I dont see him comparing well to calhoun. I think he was much more stiff and not nearly as athletic. Barnett is 260+ and still has phenomenal bend and athleticism to get aroumd the edge plus better speed than youd think for a guy at his weight. His motor is through the roof and he still can add more strength to him. Hes been far more productive than calhoun going against SEC tackles. This kid is the real deal

i dont like him. he gets lost and is a horrid tackler. at least from what ive seen. ive seen 2 games from him and he showed the kind of stuff that makes you think hes just a great college rusher. great off the line, engages the tackle decent, bends decent, but ive seen him totally whiff on plays he absolutely should have made too often.

this was last years tape too though, ill give him plenty of looks eventually, i just havent gotten into full blown draft mode yet.

Really? I love him. Hes so consistent no matter who he faces. I see what your saying from last year but hes come back this year looking leaner and has much more flexibility to his body. Hes learning to use his hands too. Ive been very impressed by him this year and though he was the only playet to show up against alabama. Just blew by cam on one play. Has tons of translatable talent. I think hed be a great fit. Decosta did also say if you get sacks in college, youl get them in the nfl. Hes on pace to get 10 sacks for a 3rd straight year. In the SEC too. Production is a big factor in finding a pass rusher in my eyes. For that reason im not totally sold on carl lawson just yet. Not enough production and needs more mass in his lower half. Cant set the edge consistently. Not like barnett can

im going with tre'davious white as my top lockdown corner, desmond king as my top safety, jabrill peppers as the top mover db, and adoree jackson as the highest ceiling guy but has a ton of work to do and could probably be a premiere returner.

weary of alabama db's so im not getting on the humphrey train, they really do benefit from the front seven more than any db's ive ever seen at any level.

to the op, we made the right pick. when stanley gets back on the field the difference will be extremely noticeable, he has first-team potential at LT. picks like that and then a tavon young in the 4th is what makes this team constantly a threat despite the weaknesses.

Hmmmm idk about white. He mirrors well but hes not as physical as id like him to be. Idk if he just doesnt like it or what but when your 180 and wanna play in the nfl you gotta show me some toughness. To me he doesnt. Not like jourdan lewis does. I agree with humphrey though its very shady with him. Although he did have a great game vs clemson which is a good sign.

Pass rusher is the top need. I said it before and I continue to stand by this opinion. Suggs and Dumervil are clearly near their end and we are suffering as a team because of it. This is causing us to put Suggs and Dumervil on the field more than they should be, and it is quite frankly making them both less effective. When we take them off, we are relying on Smith and he is just not looking at all good this year. We shouldn't rely on him to take the next step. If he turns the corner, awesome! If not, then we have a contingency. When you have a problem that is so evident and so clearly an issue, it must be fixed with the utmost importance despite the depth and investments made there. I would equate this position to safety of years past where we invested high picks without ROI a la Elam and Brooks. Trade the farm for Myles Garrett and never look back. We need a talent like him on this team.

Amen. If ozzie every decides for a blockbuster trade. This is the year to do it. Myles garrett is an absolute monster. Old soul kinda personality too.

ehh, you could say mike williams, but hes more of a damn good WR than a superstar i think, like a legit #1 but it would be a surprise to see him playing like julio or green.

Really? Ive loved what ive seen from him this year. Hes pushing juju smith for top reciever this year. I usually dont like doing comps but i think williams comps aj green very well as does juju with dez. I think these 2 are honestly the kind recievers we need to get us over the top on offense. Too bad we wont get either though.....were going pass rusher first round this year. Can almost guarantee it.

Lol irony. I dont even go on bleacher report. I just watch college a lot. I want dalvin cook so bad. But i feel like we wont pick him. Idk why. He just fits what we would want in a RB. One cut and has speed to take it to the house at anytime. We have a ton of running backs already but no one with cooks speed

Jamal adams is another guy who interests me a lot. Hes just a freak of nature. Him and justin evans would be great for us. Especially since safety for the future has all of a sudden become a need, and they both hit like linebackers.

Justin Evans is, oddly enough, number 20 on Matt Miller's first big board.

Matt Miller just brought him up as one that scouts are falling in love with.

Ya hes the prototype as a press corner. But im telling you guys. Justin evans is a guy you have to watch. Hes already looking like a top 20 pick in a loaded draft class

  18. Without a doubt safety justin evans out of texas am is a player to keep your eyes on. He jumped out on tape against ucla. Basically single handedly won them the game. He had 2 picks vs Rosen and should have had a forced fumble as well but video review was inconclusive, either way it looked like the ball came out before the knee. He then batted down a pass on the final play of the game to give his team the win. Keep a look out for #14 hes making a name for himself. Kid is a ball player.

I like 34OLBs who can do it all. Its a rare asset these days since everyone looks for pure edge rushers, but give me a OLB who rushes at a high level but also holds up in the run game and can sniff out screens and slants. We've seen sizzle turn games by picking off screens.

Ya hes gonna be our sam linebacker, like upshaw, although he brings more to the table, will be able to stay on the feild more and has tons more upside. Im starting to think with doom and suggs grooming him how good he can actually be
