I think we are sleeping on players like Darren Waller and Buck Allen. These guys can have a chance to contribute and be playmakers on this team.
I also wouldnt sleep on Kenny Bell...this kid could make a name for himself in training camp
Chris Mathews is another guy to keep an eye on I think

Ya Tyus is a rediculous athlete
IFF joe gets hurt which is very hypothetical.
Then I think its safe to say its time to look for a replacement or air apparent to Joe. Next year would be the time to do it too.
Again, this is all very hypothetical

True I guess I can see that. I found it kinda interesting

however, i dont see a power scheme guard with him. ive seen him whiff on too many pulls, fail to use hands on moving blocks, and get lost in space way too often for my liking. when it comes to knocking guys around in a phone booth and putting grown men on their butts though, he looks like he can do that
Ya i mean he needs work but that game vs oliver tells me he can hold his own in the nfl. He wont have to face players of Olivers caliber every game. Im sure we can coach him up a bit. Or if he can work at center than thats even better. He wont have to move as much and we can keep him in that phone booth
4 minutes ago, JoeyFlex5 said:was nico siragusa injured this year or something? i am not seeing the same player yall are talking about apparently. i was highly unimpressed by his film the first few ttimes i watched, and i went back, looking to talk myself into liking him, and still am not seeing it.
he gets knocked on his butt constantly, he'll get tunnel vision on one man and as soon as another guy bumps him he seems to go tumbling down. he gets really average push, on pull blocks he doesnt even attempt to use his hands and whiffs often, he gets average push and fails to finish, you often see the RB come behind him and the defender disengaging to make the tackle. ive only watched his san jose state game recently, but i watched 3 of his games months ago and recall having a lot of the same impression. ill go watch his other games again to see if im missing something, but i feel like i am watching someone totally different from you guys
Im telling you. Watch the game vs houston. You have to watch the donnel pumphrey tape though. Hes lined up at LG across from ed oliver(one of the most disruptive dlinemen in all of college football)
Would anyone care to explain Williams' extremely poor 3 cone time of 7.36 that's really bad for an undersized edge guy who's labeled as a fast twitch player. Meanwhile Bowser had a 6.75
Lol I think you mean traitor
20 minutes ago, allblackraven said:Bowser seems fine but I wish we used that pick on Anderson, especially now that we have Williams as well. I really believe Steelers and Ravens dropped the ball there, us with Bowser and them with Watt. Skins front with Allen and Anderson will be terrible thing to play against.
Idk i like bowser more than Anderson. Bowser has the length and more twitch. I know anderson is a fan favourite but Bowser brings much more value with bis versatility. Has much more upside as well.
I hope Watt busts lol. Pittsburg usnt great at drafting OLBs anyways. Kinda like us and recievers its funny how that works cause its vice versa with who we draft well
4 minutes ago, JoeyFlex5 said:I think Barnett is the best pass rusher but he's also a 3 down defender. Williams is hands down the best speed rusher and really Garrett is just the biggest freak.
When i said best pass rusher i meant it by his prototypical length and his array of moves. I love barnett but he doesnt have the length and explosion tim has. He also only really uses his dip and rip to get by tackles. Tim can beat you with like 5 moves lol
21 minutes ago, JoeyFlex5 said:Is it considered a bold prediction to say Tim Williams will have a better rookie year than Myles Garrett?
Not at all. I always thought Williams was the best pure rusher in the draft and thats all he'll be asked to do here. I see an 8+ sack season for Tim
7 minutes ago, GrimCoconut said:It's funny because you know who I think of when I think about Humphrey and how people are disappointed with the pick? I think of Vernon Hargreaves last year who was widely viewed as the best college CB coming out until people cooled down on him significantly.
I remember watching humphrey last year when Alabama won the national championship game. At the time i thought "man this kid is a top 10 pick next year" Then to start the next year he shut down Juju smith schuster and got pretty quiet after that. I was always a big believer this kid had emense talent. He just hasent put ut all together yet. Part of that is him being only 20 years old

I like Brett Colman better and I think Voch tends to overhype some traits at times. But the guy's too fun.
I think he must have said something like this when watching the play: "hmmmmm man! Ohoho Look at that naaaasty spin ...riiiight there (brings it back 2-3 seconds to replay it)..riiight there. One, two three steps.. And booom.. Look..look at that man.. That's craaaayz man. I feel the payn for the right tackle man."
"Look at this. Look at this. Look at this. Look at this" Lol

Not really surprised about any of the rest, maybe Evans because he's got potential, but he's so raw I didn't think he had a shot of being drafted aside from maybe sneaking into the 6th or 7th. It's unfortunate for Robinette, but not being able to play at all for 2 years makes it unsurprising. Some team will pick him up when his time is served I'm sure. I believe we brought in an academy guy a couple years ago for camp/preseason after he served his time - I think he was a QB that we converted to WR, but could be wrong.
keenan Reynolds? We drafted him last year. Navy allowed him to play
Jerod Evans, Virginia Tech QB
Speedy Noil, Texas A&M WR
Jamari Staples, Louisville WR
Jalen Robinette, Air Force WR (might not be allowed to play)
Jon Toth, Kentucky C
Devonte' Fields, Louisville OLB
William Likely, Maryland CB
Just a few interesting undrafted guys still available 👀
FYI 49ers signed Lorenzo Jerome....so upset..
1 minute ago, Sami84 said:actually, it was another game and i wasn't cook but it was a running back. I knew of this error when he said it.
I hate it when they do that.....makin me waste my damn time looking at the fsu tape trying to find a play.....
It really frustrated me lol. The guys getting paid for this...he should know what hes talking about
1 hour ago, Ravenskid52752 said:Yeah 3 games is not enough to really see who he is as a player. The Memphis game they had him just setting the edge and Covering Backs and TE's. The other two Cincinnati and Louisville you see the potential what he could be as a pass rusher he was all over Lamar Jackson in that game. I see Hassan Reddick in him but not as Polish as hassan as a pass rusher but he covers better than hassan does now.
I decided to watch full games. He was hsed in coverage so much it got annoying....and thats not a bad thing.
I read a lot of analysts say lack of production was a problem but in my eyes it was because Houston used him in coverage way too often. Its a miracle he got those sacks given his limited opportunities.
When in coverage he rarely was targeted and if he was, he was typically in good position.
I watched the 2015 bowl game vs FSU because i heard Daniel Jeremiah say he "ran with cook stride for stride 45 yards down the feild" so i had to check it out
Theres proof....he said he did it.
Now i watch the game film and IT NEVER HAPPENED!!!!! Cook never even had a carry pass 8 yards in the entire game! He had a 20 or so yard reception and Bowser was on the complete other side of the feild.
FYI GUYS!!! sorry to post this in this thread. I just really wanted to call out Daniel Jeremiah for being a LIAR!!!
59 minutes ago, rossihunter2 said:yeah all his drug issues outside of the gun possession arrest were 3 years ago or more - there were no reports he failed his combine drugs test and he's got responsibilities now to his family --> the gun possession thing was weird but seemed to be a misunderstanding, the drugs thing i couldnt really care about as long as he doesnt do them anymore (and once the NFL gets past its archaic punishments for taking a legal drug it wont really be a problem if he does as long as its not during the season)
i remember tim williams and derek barnett's film being the most fun i had this off season - so im going back to watch tim's tape all over again... and again... and again
Amen. Tims tape was a ton of fun. Speaking about tape....not much out there of Bowser. Pretty dissapointed about that lol

The one thing that makes me think he can stay clean is that we didnt hear anything about his combine drug test. Which is a good thing
