  1. I really think its just down to vh3, alexander, or ramsey. I think if Ramsey is there wed be hard pressed to pass on him. http://espn.go.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/25294/leslies-fraziers-top-challenge-is-getting-more-interceptions-out-of-ravens-cornerbacks We really need some help at corner. It doesnt really matter if alexander has no pick. Hes a great cover corner and would help jimmy smith play better and make his job easier it would fix a whole for years to come and might be the most important. The nfl has 4 teams left and they all have great secondary and corners like peterson, josh norman, chris harris aqib talib, and Malcolm butler and yes butler is a damn good corner, and we all know ozzie loves his corners this has to be the answer this draft.
  2. thats the debate.....in ozzie we trust
  3. jimmy and odds are a rotation lol including ramsey and stay with the hot hand unless we draft someone else which could be likely like cyrus jones or even double dip and take ramsey then kendall fuller in the second if hes there. I mean no matter what we do we will have some holes in this team next year. Ramsey would just be able to help out a little bit everywhere
  4. that is one of my favorite assets of alexander. He truly is a pro and an nfl ready prospect. I really admire his work ethic for such a talent like him. Not many people know he was a top 5 prospect commimg out of highschool either and he only strives to get better, im not sure theres a more dedicated player out there than alexander. Ramsey doesnt always show it, i see lack of hustle from him very often but he always seems to be full go in big time games. Stanley is another guy i feel iffy about. I feel he has a lack of motivation and is extremely inconsistent. He doesnt show that drive or passion i like to see, at least ramsey has passion and he shows plenty of it
  5. i dont think hed be that bad. If we do draft him hes not going to play outside much. Hes going to be our hybrid safety and nickle corner which elam was supposed to be lol. He has the athletic ability to make up a ton of ground, and would look great with webb at fs, hill a ss, and ramsey roaming all over the feild. Its his best fit in our scheme and since we are thin at corner hes versitile enough to do it. Its his best ceiling i believe is if we use him in that roll like he was used his sophmore season at fsu, it was his best production in college. even though hes classified as a corner and plays there more often he projects better at the berry mathieu roll for a team that needs that kind of player on defense. We need that. If a team doesnt need that type of player they would take him as a corner but then his value dropsIf hes there at 6 which is hard to say he will becuase its tough for me to see dallas and jax pass on him becuase they need the same thing in their secondary. So if he is we wont pass on him. Im beginning to truly believe that, unless bosa or tunsil are there it wouldnt matter ramsey would be the pick.
  6. Yup, cbs white, sutton and king all stay in school making it harder to get corners after the 1st round. Cyrus jones may be a second round prospect now. Kendall fuller might go back up to the late 1st round now.
  7. You pretty much showed how they both approach the game a different way. Just what do you like better for us. Personaly id prefer the guy who works and studies film, he seems more professional and refined than ramsey. The kid has notes on Clemsons receivers lol. Hes ready for the pros in my eyes
  8. eh not really lol, desmond king can though. Having said that i do think he can play cover 2. Kinda like the seahawks defense. And Leslie Fraziers type of defense lol, so if thats the case i think he can excell in that roll
  9. he didn't perform at the combine, he got a 4.23 40 from his pro day
  10. -Treadwells 40 time for sure. -Stanleys bench press better at least be 30 -I expect to see ramsey perform well especially broad jump and vert. But i want to see his cone drill time and shuttle, i feel he might struggle. -Alexander should do good. I just want to see him perform without a hamstring issue. I really want to see him just catch the ball lol -I feel vh3 has the most to lose. I want to see his measurables, most importantly height and wingspan, i feel his 40 will be underwhelming but his cone and shuttle times are going to be phenomenal in my opinion Long time till the combine but thats what ill be looking at
  11. Just a note to take. Mackensie alexander is 22 years old. While vernon hargreaves is 20. Makes me feel that i shouldnt be so harsh on vernon lol same goes for eli apple hes only 20
  12. i wouldn't say impressive, i thought he had ups and downs. He allowed 7 of 11 passes and his 2 picks came off bad throws. 1 off and underthrow which he got beat on but made a nice play on the ball and the second was at the end. His tackling was good pther than the beginning when he got shook and nearly fell. But what i saw was an inconsistent and raw yet athletic and physical corner. Id give him a late 2nd early 3rd grade. He has some potential
  13. i agree. And some of those were really bad. He didnt rap up the guy and whiffed with his head down. Then he tries to rip the ball out rather then just bring him down.
  14. i used to think they were neck and neck until i found out hargreaves cant tackle lolhttp://draftbreakdown.com/video/vernon-hargreaves-iii-vs-tennessee-2015/
  15. Hey remember how you said walter football has a knack fro predicting our picks....well they just put up another and had us pick treadwell furst and mackensie alexander in the second. Boy oh boy if and only if that could happen.....it would be the best thing to ever happen lol i would be jumping off the walls as ig we won the superbowl haha
  16. So walter football just updated their mock and the have us taking treadwell and mackensie alexander 1 and 2 lol. If and only if.....
  17. now alexander too
  18. Sounds like kevin dodd is applying early. Another pass rusher to take a look at
  19. Wouldnt mind the other kid from Clemson, word is that kevin dodd will apply for the draft
  20. Hes a film rat and a technician. He will always be at the right spot becuase he knows whats comming, a true student of the game. Too bad he got hurt. Couldve been a difference maker and looked like one to start. Roll tide!!! Alabama ended up pullin through
  21. love it. Something else to note is that as a freshman he decided to stay home and study film for a bowl game while his teammates went to dysney. Ended up holding sterling sheppard to one catch that game. He even has notes on Clemsons receivers to better prepare himself for his professional career
  22. yup and a 31% completion when hes in coverage. He hasent even played 30 games in his career and has only allowed 2tds for his career and like he said. None in the past 23. Fyi hes reportedly deeling with a hamstring injury for the national championship game today. It might hurt him going up against calvin Ridley. He might end up getting burned
  23. watch his Tennessee tape. He was terrible in that game. Missed so many tackles
  24. ya i love how he always works back to the qb. He is a natural and id love the pick. Hed be a gamechanger we desperately need. The thing that sticks out most is his tremendous balance and body control. Hes very agile and i wouldbt be surprised if his 40 i faster than we expect
  25. i would say hes still raw in route running. He always dips his shoulders to the side hes gonna break too and he doesnt seem to always get good seperation. He has shown very good ability to get off press with his physicality which is something i think we need. I like him as a pick still just wouldnt consider him a good route runner
