  1. http://draftbreakdown.com/video/vernon-hargreaves-iii-vs-tennessee-2015/He misses about 4 or 5 tackles in this game, the worst one in my eyes is when he comes on a blitze on 3rd and 1 and cant rap up the guy and take him down. Ive read on a lot of articles that scouts are worried about his tackling ability because he has small arms, if you blitze him he wont be able to take anyone down. I feel alexander can because hes known to be physical, he not afraid of contact but i will say he does miss some and he could learn better form, but thats just my take and im honestly not going to be too critical of a corner for tackling too much because like i said before not many do http://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Draft-Scouting-Reports/Scouting-Report-Vernon-Hargreaves.asp Thus pretty much sums up what i think of hargreaves
  2. well vh3 has that same issue but i do think alexander shows good form and has long arms to rap the guy up. He doesnt seem afraid or unwilling to tackle just hasn't had much playing time. I do think his tackling is an issue just not as bad as i think hargreaves is at it. I think hargreaves is a terrible tackler by form and by default too, hes got really short arms. I see him have problems taking guys down, i honestly think a lot of corners have issues tackling nowadays because of form. Ramsey really is the exception hes a fantastic tackler
  3. http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/2609529-2016-nfl-draft-clemson-cornerback-mackensie-alexander-is-best-in-class Alexander would shut him down, i think hes got a better ceiling but guys like treadwell and vh3 just have a higher floor
  4. http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/2609529-2016-nfl-draft-clemson-cornerback-mackensie-alexander-is-best-in-class Im sticking with my alexander pick at 6. I really think hes worth it
  5. http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/2609529-2016-nfl-draft-clemson-cornerback-mackensie-alexander-is-best-in-class Awesome article really shows some good points on alexander and why i think hes worth it at 6
  6. ya will fuller from notre damn and corey coleman from baylor
  7. There should be a vh3 or alexander thread. thats a good debate
  8. I did sour on him a bit and rightfully so after the season he had but he was still a great prospect ever since he came out and he continued to work at it. I think hes a hard worker and ill cut him some slack for having a down year when you know the nfl is just around the corner. Besides hes still only 20 years old. I have a feeling we still havent seen the best of him.
  9. I feel like they should add ronnie Stanley to this list. Even joey bosa maybe. Or eventually once he disappoints at the combine Even though ramsey, buckner, and bosa could all be gone by then. By the way is it clear that tunsil is the consensus #1 i feel like its still a long time till the draft its so hard to tell anything. The only thing we know is who the ravens will target, but theres so many options and were not sure whose even going to be there.
  10. Heres a nice article on alexander. Shows one of the best things about him http://www.campusrush.com/mackensie-alexander-clemson-tigers-national-title-game-1546553020.html
  11. you also nevet see him get beat which shows hes not biting and taking chances. I honestly think vh3 and alexander are very similar in so many ways but 2. Alexander is 22 years old and has only played 2 years of game time. Meanwhile vh3 has 3 years of play time has nearly as many picks as alexander has batted passes (vh3 has 10 picks alexander has 11 bps) and vh3 is only 20. But then again you can make the case alexander hasn't allowed a td in 23 games and allowed a completion percentage of maybe 30% throughout his career, while vh3 had a down year (ps it wasnt only the last 2, he was inconsistent all year and missed 4 or 5 tackles vs Tennessee, yet he still didnt get chalenged much. Take your pick cause i cant. Glad we dont have to make that choice.
  12. http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-tackle-ronnie-stanley-several-cornerbacks-linked-to-ravens-at-no-6-in-nfl-draft-20160120-story.html Kinda like the analysis on the picks, he makes a point and i agree with him on alexander lol http://m.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/2016-Ravens-Mock-Draft-Monitor-10/456faafa-db63-4111-91af-614163a3374c Heres another one they put up
  13. i honesly do believe linebackers dont need to be all that big anymore. Not all of them at least. They just need to be able to cover a lot of ground and that is exactly what we need. We were getting killed across the middle all season because we dont truly have a WILL linebacker, mosely plays that roll but hes better used as a blitzer or against the run. I dont think weight is the issue here or the scheme, because in a 4-3 you have 2 edge guys, usually one to stuff the run and one to blitze, he could also be used there to cover tight ends or running backs to the flat. You put him at middle and let him fly sideline to sideline as either mosely or smith eat up blocks or pulling gaurds, hes a 3 down linebacker in any scheme and thats something thats very hard to find nowadays
  14. although i do have a feeling that after the the combine ramseys stock will go up and bosa will go down (depending on his 40 time) and well end up with a better chance of bosa falling to us then ramsey. Idk if i could see him passed by dallas and jax
  15. http://www.nfl.com/m/draft/2016/tracker/position/cb Thought you might like these reports. Some are a bit off like vh3 and how he tackles well but the rest is pretty spot on just not the rankings maybe but im just looking at the report.
  16. Looking at it now. The pick really should be between ramsey and buckner, thats what i think the ravens brass would look at
  17. When treadwell runs a 4.6 everyones gonna recend their vote lol
  18. http://www.nfl.com/m/draft/2016/tracker/position/cb Not sure were i shouldve posted this but i hope you guys take a look. I always kinda liked these scouting reports. One of the few things nfl.Com does right lol -its on the cb list cause that was what i was last looking at, you should be able to see the top 100 prospects though -There are a few things they need to check on though like saying vh3 tackles well and through the player with his head up. When i watch him ive seen him fly by the offensive player head down and arms to the side. He really doesnt have good form tackling but with corners nowadays its almost expected
  19. were going to select bpa not a need so i really wasnt expecting us to draft an edge rusher unless we trade back. I see us hoping someone falls and if nobody is there we trade back. The only guys i see us taking at 6 are tunsil, bosa, ramsey, or buckner(not sure what our scouts will make of myles jack but ill keep him out for now). All are sure fire picks and would be worthy at 6. Vh3 and stanley could be in that mix but i see us trying to trade back before we pick either of those 2
  20. true. Ill take your point on that. I will say however that jack is kinda the same east west type guy and hes better or can be better vs the run if he would read plays better. Its hard to say if he has a punch or not he kinda just bounces off the o line and goes to make the play. Hes a very raw prospect and doesnt do much right in terms of technique but his traits are through the roof. Kinda like ramsey, they both have phenomenal athletic ability and a high football iq that lets them just react to plays, i dont think either one can really diagnose a play before it comes to them like hargreaves or alexander or even bosa.
  21. we need pass rush on the outside, not in the middle. We beed an edge rusher and hes not that
  22. Im really liking josh docston. I feel he could be a great weapon for us and would replace the disappointing marlon brown. He can gain seperation much better and has the height and hands to catch a ton of jump balls. I feel flacco would really like the kid. He just has to bulk up a bit. Looks really skinny on the feild but i like what he brings to the table, he looks like a great redzone guy, kind of playmaker we could use.
  23. you say we cant use undersized lbs and that they need to shed blocks. I find that funny because mosley is 6-2 240(listed 238) and his biggest issue is getting off blocks and jack is 6-1 245 (i think hell be 235 at the combine, the issue i see with jack is he doesnt read the play he just reacts, watched a lot of film on him recently and they put this kid as an outside corner a time against guys like lockette and agholor and he held his own in coverage. He is a great prospect and would be a perfect fit at will linebacker. Only issue is that mosely is that for us but if he could bulk up and take the strong side and leave the coverage opportunities for jack they would have a great duo, i just feel as though mosley has struggled in coverage and smith is starting to become a step too slow, hes also heavier so he never was that quick. I just feel as if jack could be a really good fit for us. Maybe not at 6 but as a trade back guy for sure. He has the talent to be a stud for us
  24. hes a better tackler then vh3. At least he has a willingness to tackle, i dont expect him to take down dalvin cook or calvin Ridley every time in the open feild but he did do a good job for the most part vs ridley
  25. -Added this post from another thread I really think its just down to vh3, alexander, or ramsey. I think if Ramsey is there wed be hard pressed to pass on him. http://espn.go.com/b...ens-cornerbacks We really need some help at corner. It doesnt really matter if alexander has no pick. Hes a great cover corner and would help jimmy smith play better and make his job easier it would fix a whole for years to come and might be the most important. The nfl has 4 teams left and they all have great secondary and corners like peterson, josh norman, chris harris aqib talib, and Malcolm butler and yes butler is a damn good corner, and we all know ozzie loves his corners this has to be the answer this draft.
