  1. Wouldn't mind getting a corner in the 2nd like lattimore although that would likely mean we'd pass on interior lineman in the 1st and 2nd rounds. Still believe we're going pass rusher in the first. Especially with how biscotti is going to push for one
  2. Pretty sure media outlets see Desmond king as the top corner.
  3. The Orange bowl is between Florida st and Michigan. Not Florida
  4. We need a vote thread
  5. Ya we really need a scat back. If he returns punts that's a major plus. Alvin kamara is really lightening out of a bottle but he's a great receiver and returner
  6. It's honestly amazing how well Barnett bends. There was one play vs Florida where the tackle never even touched him because of how low he got
  7. I think it's a youth issue. Were leaning on aging veterans at certain positions, more or less skill positions, to play consistently throughout the year. There's no mix of young guys, and when there is they don't seem ready. We need to hit on our early round picks. That's what's holding us back in my eyes.
  8. He doesn't get as low as you'd like though. He did win on the outside a few times but it was more due to his first step and the tackle couldn't get out in time. He still looked a little stiff doing so. What I did like from the tape was his explosiveness and his relentless attitude. I did notice his lack of awareness as well, especially in the run game. Suggs should be able to get that fixed though
  9. Ya I have to agree. If prefer Tim Williams or Derek Barnett over him. They both show they can bend around tackles. Barnett actually surprised me this year by how often he won by doing so. Lawson can also do it but I don't think we'll pick him with his injury history and inconsistent play Oh forgot to mention takk McKinley. He's another who can bend the edge
  10. The thing I really like about this class is the fact that there are options for interior lineman throughout the first three rounds. Depth at positions of need for the ravens in this year's draft class benefits is tremendously. CB, OLD and interior OL are stacked from rounds 1-3 and we all know we need long term answers at all positions Any suggestions on who the best trio could be?
  11. Ya i agree. Theres a lot of good value in the second round. Although i would be pretty bummed not to get a corner in the first 2 rounds considering how good this class is. Especially at the top. Same with pass rusher. 2 positions we really need to find a long term answer for. I wouldny be surprised if we trade back into the 2nd round this year considering comp picks are now tradeable.
  12. Ya hes pretty impressive. And hes been consistent ever since his freshman year. I see him as a 2nd/3rd round guy because hes an fcs guy. However, if he tests well at the combine he might go ealrier comsidering this reciever class isnt very top heavy. Plus no character concerns. Hus character is A+
  13. Yes that was him
  14. Agree on nelson, and with yanda helping him while playing alongside his former teamate. Its a great match for both sides. CodyO' connor is another gaurd from Washington st. Kid is a monster at 6-8 350. Will hernandez from Utep also has the best run blocking grade of any gaurd in the country and its not even close according to pro football focus. Although level of competition isnt great.
  15. Nick mangold is a free agent, Hed be solid. Although pat elfein would be a long term answer
  16. This offseason. We have to make it a priority to fix the running game. Dixon is too good of a back to have to break tackles vs linebackers and lineman just to pick up 5 yards. We need a new running scheme and some interior lineman to change this thing around. The Ravens just don't win when we can't run the ball. History has proven that to be true
  17. after seeing how Dixon looked yesterday. We really need some run blocking guards. Elfein and Dorian johnson are the first who come to mind. Pitt has the best yards per run in between the tackles in the country and Johnson is a big part of that. Elfein has the consistency you look for and durability we need on the inside(40 consecutive games played). Dixon was breaking tackles from defensive lineman and linebackers! If we can get him to the second level.......watch out DBs..beast mode 2.0 coming right for you
  18. Yes I do believe he COULD (would might not have been the best choice of words) have made a difference in the game. Hester has lost his mojo and with a young guy like adoree, he would have tried to be aggressive and field those punts maybe make a spark or maybe he muffs one. There's no knowing what would happen. But adoree could also be a weapon on offense, he just brings that big play capability on all 3 sides of the ball that we've been lacking all year. Cyrus has been struggling all year and he had fumbling issues at Alabama before. I never believe Alabama has good returners. Anyone they put back there is a good returner because the guys blocking for them are typically all 4 star recruits. Anyone will look good returning punts for Bama. Adoree is on another class than jones as an athlete and returner
  19. Lol agreed. Silly post
  20. Idk why all the hatr on adoree he did win the thorpe award for the best corner hes a better corner than some think, he may be a little raw but he has ball skills and has the capability of being very good in zone thanks to his athleticism plus hes an electric returner. Much better than camp would ever be.
  21. I did, i also saw him get 2 picks in that game....did you see what he did to notre dame?
  22. Adoree Jackson would have been the difference maker of the pats game....just sayin
  23. We still control our own destiny. Win out and were in. Even if we lose to Pittsburg. It's pretty likely Denver loses out. And Miami 2 more loses and were in at 9-7
  24. still a good game. If you wanna talk about how it wasn't even that close then you better get a good look at your team and wonder why you guys only won by 7. Lots of problems that could cost you in the playoffs with the game on the line.
  25. The good: we faught back and played tough, better than a blow out and gave me hope for this season. dixon ran hard against a good tackling New England team. Orr played good. The bad: Hester needs to go. No pass rush. Elam is gone, which makes me wonder why Levine wasn't used? The ugly: jimmy smiths ankle, offensive play calling( I don't think our oline is that bad, we just have no scheme) and that blown coverage....... the optimistic: we still control our own destiny. If not 9-7 might be enough to get us in the playoffs especially with the Dolphins qb situation and the Broncos brutal schedule
