I actually disagree here. I do think the Ravens need to replace Wagner and possibly Zuttah but I think the line will get better just from Lewis and Stanley getting older and understanding the game better. It was middle of the pack last season, but from how many times Flacco dumps it off from receivers failing to find separation down the field I think it might be a good pick if Cook is there. I usually am the one advocating to upgrade the o-line but I don't see many great talented o-linemen this draft. Cook has been really explosive the Ravens are needing that checkdown guy. Dixon is still young and it would be fantastic if he worked out. But I do think that part of the offense has been missing since the Ray Rice incident.

For some reason Ray Rice is who comes to mind for me everytime I think of Dalvin cook. And I believe he can be even better. And just BC we went rb in the first doesn't mean we couldn't focus on the o line as well. I think we all can agree a corner needs to be taken ATLEAST before round 3- probably even by round 2..but a premiere running back could be what Joe needs to get back on track and open up the deep ball. Get Joe a big possession receiver thru FA  like we had in Boldin - we got perriman to stretch the feild like Torrey did- get crock healthy and see some improvement from maxx and waller- now we just need to get the running game respectable again and we'll have the same recipe on offense we did in 2012. Then if jimmy stays healthy - we find a strong corner to start across from him- tavon keeps improving- get another solid year from weddle and cj...the only thing we really need is for judon and ZDS to take that next step and get one more solid year from suggs. ALOT of what ifs..but we could definitely make a run at it next year without question. But to me, the key is the running game. Get back to controlling the time of possession and opening up the play action and deep ball. Joe thrives when he's under 30 attempts a game- and when he is under that amount we tend to win. The more weapons we have at the position the better. We've currently got 3 guys that can stretch the feild- we need 3 strong  running backs incase of injury  and to keep them fresh and open things up for the speedsters down feild.

I feel like sites that mock a RB to the Ravens in the first didn't actually watch any of our games, especially not the ones Dixon was starting in. Dixon has everything needed to be a feature back in the NFL, and West and Juice compliment him well enough. The problem was the blocking and having an OC that just wasn't calling run plays.

I don't think that's necessarily true- I think many people including me know Dixon is going to be special- and I also think west is a good compliment ...but if one of the premiere guys is there at 16 you have to atleast consider it. Fournette is typically seen as the number 1 back - but Cook is almost exactly the type of back that harbs and decosta were describing that we needed- somebody that could be a game wrecker and bust out with 40 & 50 + yard scampers on the drop of a dime- catch passes out the backfeild and take it to the house- AND block well. I too am pretty set on taking a CB or pass rusher...but if our top rated guys at those positions are gone and we think we can get just as good of a talent in the 2nd or third and Dalvin Cook is sitting there @ 16- you have to assume that it will strongly be considered. Say Dixon goes down with an ACL injury in camp? All of a sudden we're not looking so hot at the RB position. I get you could say that for a lot of positions- but there will be more depth elsewhere and without a strong running game it drastically effects the passing  game and we will see another year of dink and dunk offense.

not a legitimate first round pick - i personally dont like him as a second rounder either - of the cbs i've ranked so far he is 2nd last

Yeah he wouldn't even be on my board whatsoever. Unless he fell drastically into the  late 3rd or 4th.

I actually like this a lot.

  5. We really need 3 qbs to go before our pick. Then we're all but guaranteed  a top notch playmaker. Very good chance Corey davis is there. Would y'all rather have him or Williams? Or would you pass on both and take Jones or Wilson? Tough call cobsidering our needs. Corner higher on the totum pole but the need for a true #1 receiver has been lurking for well over a decade.

  6. Juice is a swiss army knife that can be retained for cheap. High character guy- makes plays- blocks and catches the ball very well. Why not try to keep somebody like that? I believe we need him. If you go back and watch that last drive we had against Pittsburgh- he almost single handedly won us the north. And I'm not talking about the TD ( although that was sweet as hell)- he laid down several key blocks and made play after play to keep that drive alive. Had we milked just a little more time or had we gotten antonio down short of the goaline we would have almost had a cakewalk to the AFCG - then who knows what happens. But yes-we need to try and keep juice.

Not sure why they would re-sign Juice. They never really had a history of signing some of their more complete FB's and juice certainly isnt anything more than an H back.

I'd be a little upset if we don't resign juice. I think what he brings to this team gets often overlooked.

I actually don't think a boldin reunion is out of the question. Would be an Ozzie type move- a veteran guy nearing the end of his career who can be had on a CHEAP 1 or 2 year deal to finish his career in Baltimore. I'm sure he'd love to come back and you know the fans would Iove it....he's that big bodied possesion type receiver that fits the exact  mold of what we need. He has a rapport with Joe and harbaugh and has some juice left in the tank coming off of a 9 TD season- more than our #1 and #2 receivers combined! Now ofcourse we're not bringing him in to be a number 1- we may also go after a guy like garçon. Bringing in both of them would be about the same amount as going after 1 big name FA such as Marshall or Jeffrey and instead give us more depth. Not sure if we did that if we would hold onto Wallace or not- but it would be pretty enticing to have a wr corps looking like this:

    1) Garcon

    2) Wallace

    3)Boldin

    4) Perriman

    5)Campanaro

    6)Moore

    7) Draftee?

If we do part ways with Wallace-ofcourse that would be us banking on Perriman to take that next step and be our official number 2 guy who stretches the feild-which I do have faith in his  ability to do so. However if wallace is released- I think we will take a WR a little higher In the draft...so here's my 2nd outlook:

    1) Garçon

    2)Perriman

    3)Boldin

    4) Cooper Kupp

    5) Campanaro

    6) Moore

And in the final scenario I have us finally bucking the trend and making a splash for a true number 1. In this case we would also probably have to part ways with Wallace and rely more on perriman, however we may try to retain Aiken ( if he wants to stay-which right now doesnt look good) We would also draft a wr in the top 3 rounds. This would have our corps looking like this:

    1) Jeffrey/Marshall

    2) Perriman

    3) Aiken

    4) Zay Jones/ Ju Ju Smith/ Dede Westbrook

    5) Campanaro

    6) Moore

Id be OK with any of these scenarios obviously- however for the money and for depth purposes and what we need- I think scenario 1 is our best bet - unless we can't afford to keep wallace in which case it would be 2. I'm so iffy on Wallace BC I think he could go either way-  he could have  another 1k + yd season or we could see a significant dropoff like we did in the second half of the season. It all depends who we bring in and how much improvement we see from Perriman. Maybe we wait until after camp and if perriman shows he can handle the #2 role then we can part ways with wallace and use those cap savings to pick up another cap casualty to fill a hole on defense.

From the PFF article featured in today's LFW on the front page. https://www.profootballfocus.com/pro-the-leagues-best-receivers-for-each-type-of-route/

I've said many times and will continue to say, I think Britt will be a perfect fit for what the Ravens want to do not only in 2017 but moving forward as well. With both price and fit, I think Britt should be a target for the Ravens. I think the crossing pattern will be a huge part of what the Ravens want to do, especially with play action off the run game and nobody ran that route better than Britt last year.

Not to mention he's repeatedly put up respectable numbers with piss poor qb play year after year.

Victor Cruz was just released, should we go after him?

Was just about to post this-  not sure if he's what we're looking for- Depends on the price. His numbers have dropped drastically and I don't see him as the possession type reciever we're looking for - but it's a thought. Initially I would say no. For some reason I get the feeling this is the year we buck the trend and go after a top notch playmaker and make a splash. Jeffrey or Marshall is my guess. Ofcourse Garcon makes a lot of sense too and won't be as pricey.

  10. Not sure why but I think peppers is a big faller. Early on I saw him in every single mock as a lock for the top ten and possibly even a top 6 pick....lately every mock I've seen has him from 19-30.. Don't even think there's a real reason. Its funny BC I could certainly see him being our pick as well...the need for a safety.. The need for another lb who can drop back in coverage after orr retiring - the harbaugh connection- and just his overall versatility. Not to mention it could knock out our revolving door of kick returners since the departure of Jacoby. That's an underrated need of ours not many have mentioned. I don't like the pick considering the other options that will be available but I def would understand it and hope for the best.

I think we should try and target Keon Hatcher Wr out of Arkansas in the 6th or 7th round. He was able to put up decent stats on an average offense in the SEC. He also has good size which is something we need from our receivers.

    Keon Hatcher, WR, Arkansas

Things haven't always been easy for Hatcher during his time in Fayetteville, as his inconsistent hands have caused heartburn for coaches and fans on occasion. But when he's able to concentrate on the easier catches as well as he does on the more difficult ones, opponents must pay close attention to him on every play due to his combination of size (6-2, 210) and speed. Hatcher led the run-first Arkansas squad with 558 yards and six touchdowns receiving in 2014, and will probably put up similar numbers this year with two 1,000-yard rushers on the roster (Alex Collins, Jonathan Williams). Gaudy numbers are less important to NFL teams than athleticism and producing when given the chance; Hatcher could climb up boards if he's able to display both over the next year."

The last thing we need is another receiver with sketchy hands.

Watt looks like he could be that guy that takes over Suggs role and brings back some of that swag.  Would it be crazy if we traded back and took him in the 1st?

If we did we could almost def trade back twice and still land him easily. Get 2 extra 2nds and a third.  we need starters- so I would then package our original two thirds to Jump back Into the 2nd. That would give us watt-and then have FOUR picks in the 2nd and STILL have a 3rd. Imagine the damage we could do with that many picks in the 2nd ...we could knock out corner, OL, WR and another pass rusher. Then maybe go safety in the third if a guy like hooker falls. This would be an absolute dream haul. If only something like this could actually come to fruition. We'd have atleast 5 immediate starters... Who could all be game changers. Getting that young and having that many rookie contracts would allow us to move on from some of the older guys with high numbers and have a ton of cap room to make 2 or 3 splashes in FA. We could bring in Marshall no problem- along with a proven cb and maybe a pass rusher.

Really we could do the same thing with oj howard- trade back twice and still land him.. Then wreak havoc in the 2nd.

I think this is a very solid draft. Fills a lot of holes on our roster. I really like kazee and king in the 3rd, those would be solid picks. If kings not there then I think Sutton could be an option. Overall very solid draft. However.....i dont see a game changer in this mock. There's a lot of solid guys I'd say B+ grade.

I see watt and kupp both as potential game changers. I mean I guess their not "can't miss" prospects but I think they're pretty darn close.

I would somewhat agree, I don't expect us to take 2 WRs but I wouldn't be surprised if we did since we lost Smith and I peronally think Aiken will be leaving as well. He voiced his grievance about his diminishing snap count and I don't think he should be anything more than our 3rd, maybe even 4th, option on the outside, a separation would probably be best for both parties in this case unfortunately.

But like I said in the mock, that late in the draft I wasn't really even mocking anymore, it's such a crap shoot that I am really just throwing out some little known guys that I like so they can get some recognition.

Yeah that makes sense. Def possible- esp if Aiken leaves like you said.

If we do pick oj I'd want to get rid of gillmore, watson, Boyle and possibly Waller unless he goes back to WR. Get pitta to take a pay cut, and keep maxx Williams. He's too young to give up on him. We drafted him when he was only 20 so I think he's 22 now. The guy still has potential and with those 3 guys that would make a neck of a 3 headed monster. You could run a lot of different formations with those guys like the pats used to do with their 3 tight end sets.

If we  did go that route- I would keep 4 and go with :

    1) OJ Howard

    2) Pitta/ Crock

    3) Maxx Williams

    4) Waller

If pitta doesn't agree to a paycut I would interchange him with Crockett.  Its hard for me to want to move on from pitta- esp since he would be the only real veteran presence..plus he has the best rapport with Joe. However his blocking Is a major liability. So no paycut then its time for him to go. Then we would have 4 TE's on their rookie contract. Which is good and bad.

  16. Round 1 ( trade back)

Dan Feeney- possible we lose Wagner in FA - and even if not feeney has showed he can play center. Always good to have a lineman who can move around in a pinch. I actually thought about going Oj Howard here with the uncertainty at TE- But considering the direction the offense is going- Beefing up the line while adding an extra 2nd and possible fourth Is a no brainer to me. Decosta and co. hinted that  protecting Joe and strengthening the line was priority #1 next to corner...obviously it takes two teams to tango- so if we have to stay put Im 75% sure we go with the highest available CB on our board who will likely be Quincy Wilson or Sidney Jones.

    Round 2

TJ Watt- pass rushing is an absolute necessity. I think decosta downplayed a bit as to how high of a priority it actually is. Its far too early to tell  if KC will pan out- but early signs are not looking good- and with the departure of Orr its looking like KC will possibly make  the permanent switch to ILB. with doom likely on the way out and suggs in his last year or two- I think this is another no brainer. The Watt genes obviously seem pretty good- and if he can make an impact even close to the one his brother has made- this will be a home run. May not fall this far - but if so we will pounce.

    Round 2

Cooper Kupp- this guys stock is constantly rising and its possible he sneaks into the back end of  the first. I think he fits the exact mold of what we need in a receiver- and if he falls to us i think we pull  the trigger without hesitation.

    Round 3

Desmond King-  its an absolute necessity we draft a corner early..however I think we will mainly utilize him as a safety. I don't think we will move on from Webb- but he does have a pretty high cap # so its possible he could be on the way out if he doesn't agree to another paycut. I think king and weddle would make a great duo- and he's already stated he would love to play here. And once again- it never hurts to have somebody that can move around in a pinch.  Could be wishful thinking that he falls to the third- but certainly possible after a not so good showing at the senior bowl.

    Round 3 ( comp)

Damontae Kazee- had a hard time here choosing between him, Kevin king and Cameron Sutton. In the end the 7 interceptions his senior year sold me. Turnovers win games. Sutton has injury concerns , and I think its possible he could fall down to the late 4th or even 5th ...in which case id grab him. Sutton's only 5'11 186 so that concerns me a bit as well. However he showed at the senior bowl how much he could move around and play safety, nickel and outside. He was very fluid and shut down oj howard a few times.he's very physical for his size. If he has a good combine i may reconsider. Kevin King on the other hand I'd strongly consider here. Has much better measurables at 6'3 192- and if Kazee is gone he's my pick. Now Kazee is also only 5'11 also but he plays much bigger and made many more plays. His 67 tackles is more than anybody in the entire cb class next to Elder and Douglas. He's VERY physical and extremely aggressive. I worry that he could draw some penalties-but his playmaking potential far outweighs that worry. it's very important we take a pure corner- one of the highest  necessities on the totum pole.  Ideally we would take one sooner- but I think we get the most value here- and by picking up those extra picks in the first. The only other corner I would take here would be White or Douglas- however I don't see them falling this far.

    Round 4

Ejuan Price-  can never  have enough pass rushers. At 6'1 255 I think he will be able to win with leverage- haven't watched alot of tape on him- but he registered 42 tackles and 13 sacks his senior year at Pitt. I think getting him here is great value.

Round 4 ( acquired from tradeback)

Damien Mama- adding more depth to the OL is always good. This guy had a good season as a junior from USC but has alot of room for improvement. Maybe we can strike gold here in the fourth  once again like we did last year with Alex Lewis

    Round 5

Chris Odom- we triple dip at edge rusher. Great value here in  the fifth for a guy that registered 53 tackles and 12.5 sacks.

    Round 6

Marquel Lee - tough call here. I thought about going with Jordan Evans who had 100 tackles, 2.5 sacks and 4 interceptions. Haven't watched much tape on either- but the 4 interceptions lets me know that he has good hands and is pretty good at dropping back into coverage- which is an important trait to have at the position and with the departure of Orr. However I went with Lee from Wake Forest who  had a pretty solid senior season with 105  tackles and 7.5 sacks. Getting him in the 6th would be great value once again- and he can help us bring some pressure up the middle which is essential going up against good qbs that can avoid pressure from the edges by stepping up in the pocket such as Brady and Big Ben.

    Round 7

Jerod Evans Jr.- I haven't heard anything about us trying to retain Ryan Mallet- but I think many would agree its not a bad idea to take a flyer on a backup qb to try and develop behind Joe. Evans is 6'4 235 from Virginia Tech- I may be just a little biased being a virginia kid- but I think he has some potential. Joes not going anywhere anytime soon  so there's  really no reason to take a qb high- but god forbid he goes down with another injury we need a contingency plan in place. We tend to go the veteran route- which didn't pan out well with  guys like schaub or Clausen. I happen to like mallet- but I think he may try to go elsewhere for more money or to compete for a starting job. We did a good job developing tyrod Taylor who also was from VA- so I think its time to go young again and see if we can develop this kid. You never know when you will find a late round gem ( Prescott, Brady, Antonio Brown, etc.)

i don't have us taking a RB although I think there's a decent chance we grab one. Donnell Pumphrey is somebody we've spent ALOT of time with- so he's somebody to  keep an eye on. With over 2000  yards and 17tds he could be that 3rd playmaking rb we're looking for. I have all the faith in the world in Dixon- but it never hurts to have insurance. If he falls to the 6th or even the 5th I think there's a very high likelihood we take him.  Maybe we tradeback with our second 4th to pick up an extra 5th and use that on him.  I didn't wanna include too many trades on a mock draft- but that is something I think is certainly feasible so I will throw that in.

     to sum up:

    1) Dan Feeney (G/C)

    2) TJ Watt (OLB)

    *2) Cooper Kupp  (WR)

    3)Desmond King ( CB/S)

    3) (COMP) Damontae Kazee  ( CB)

    4)Ejuan Price ( DE/OLB)

    *4)Damien Mama (OL)

    5)Chris Odom ( DE/OLB)

    *5) Donnell Pumphrey (RB)

    6)Marquel Lee ( MLB)

    7)Jerod Evans Jr. (QB)

    * =Acquired from trade-back.

I know some of this may be wishful thinking -that bein said this is obviously IMO a best case scenario mock. However I don't see any of the picks as a "Pipedream"  and think all of this is certainly within the realm of possibilities. thoughts?

    1

  17. Thinking out of the box here- with ALOT of uncertainty at the tight end position- ( pitta and Watson likely being cut- crock  being constantly hurt- the lack of development from maxx...and his injuries- the inexperience of waller - and Boyle getting suspended twice and facing his third strike) what is the possibility of trading back for a guy like OJ Howard? I only bring it up BC I haven't seen anyone mention him or mock him to us ( and probably for a reason) but he has performed extremely well and made huge plays on the biggest stage two years in a row- which is huge. After reading the article on the front page about him molding his game after Ozzie and that he would love to play for us- could this be even a consideration? We know Joe loves  his big targets- and this  guy can catch AND block-  and had one of the most impressive showings at the senior bowl and won the best practice award. Obviously we have much more pressing needs..but could he be a trade back candidate if he's the BPA and we can pick up an extra 2nd with how stacked this years cb and pass rushing class is? I mean if we think he could be the next Jordan reed ( who he reminds me of) I think its def something to think about... Pick up two 2nds and knock out corner and OL...then go pass rusher and receiver with our two thirds... Just a thought!

Don't you think a part of this is a function of receivers not getting YAC?  Seems Pittta was sliding, falling on pretty much every ball he caught. While I recall Wallace sometimes running downfield, can't remember Smitty getting much. Don't get me wrong, I know Joe was part of the problem, but seems it was exasperated by lack of YAC.

I know I must be missing something here, but don't see why team average yardage of pass doesn't equal team average yards of reception. Also interesting that opponents average was 6.8 yds(?).

    http://www.espn.com/nfl/team/stats/_/name/bal/baltimore-ravens

Our receivers have ALWAYS failed to get many YAC and make plays for Joe. Now i know partly this could have something to do with him not leading them properly and not putting them in position to break free or get momentum- but he's never had a true dominant playmaker. Steve smith was  the closest thing to it and he's obviously more of a possesion type guy. Give him Julio Jones or Antonio brown and I guarantee he would be lighting teams up. Its a shame if we don't ever get him that guy and waste away his prime years.  I think this may be the year we break the trend and make a pretty big splash in FA. for some reason i think it will be jeffrey or marshall. Garcon would be more of our type of move though  - so we"ll see.

However I'm a firm believer that Perriman COULD be that guy. With a full offseason to train and a full camp I think he will make huge strides. He made more spectacular catches last year than anybody on the team- and his speed is next to none. This kids a gazelle. Work on his hands and refine his route running and he could turn into that true #1 playmaker. I think it will take another year or two but I've got high hopes for him. He's took a lot of flack but handled it like a pro.

Zuttah spent more time in our backfield than an offensive lineman should.

I'll agree that he's a solid pass protector -- aside from the many times he simply forgot to pick up a blitzing linebacker -- but it's his horrendous run blocking that remains to be the issue, and that's what his struggle comes down to. Sure, he held his own sometimes, but holding your own simply isn't good enough. When you watch Zuttah and then watch other centers, it becomes apparent that "holding your own" is actually below average. A stalemate is a loss for the offensive lineman.

If we keep Zuttah, we need to run the wide zone a little bit more and use more double teams to help him out. I feel like every time he had a one on one assignment on tight zone, he lost.

The thing that really aggravates me is when he either takes that huge step back or gets pushed back and him and joes feet get tangled. That's happened numerous times. I guess some blame can be put on Joe for that idk - something about zuttah just rubs me the wrong way. But you all make good points - he's really not THAT bad and def in the top half of the league. Center is def not an easy position to play. No better options on the market which is why I would go after a guy like Feeney and kill two birds with one stone. If anything you get a solid guard- and if your lucky you get a guy that can move over to center in a pinch or even give zuttah some competition and light a fire under his tail.

    1.    Cleveland Browns- Myles Garrett DE Texas A & M: Much like the Texans in 2014 when they took Clowney over a QB, I don't see the Browns passing on Garrett. Good building block for Greg Williams.

    2.    San Francisco 49ers- DeShone Kizer QB Notre Dame: What to expect out of John Lynch? Who knows, but they do need a QB. Kizer is here for now, unless they like what they see out of Watson leading up to the draft.

    3.    Chicago Bears- Jonathon Allen DT/DE Alabama: They could fall for Watson but Allen is too good to pass up. If the Bears plan on winning the NFC North, they have to get to Aaron Rodgers and Matthew Stafford.

    4.    Jacksonville Jaguars- Leonard Fournette RB LSU: When the Giants won their Super Bowls, they had backs like Jacobs and Bradshaw to compliment Eli Manning. Fournette can be the compliment Bortles needs to take pressure off him and have a good running game to control the clock.

    5.    Tennessee Titans(via LA)- Mike Williams WR Clemson: The Titans reportedly like Williams and he would make for a great number one for Mariota.

    6.    New York Jets- Marlon Humphrey CB Alabama: Revis Island is sunk. Revis is old and his age showed big time last season. The Jets grab his replacement taking advantage of this great corner class.

    7.    Los Angeles Chargers- Jamal Adams S LSU: I had Hooker here but with his recent surgery I expect him to drop, a little. The Chargers missed Weddle, and get his replacement here.

    8.    Carolina Panthers- Solomon Thomas DE Stanford: Charles Johnson is a free agent, if they bring him back this pick changes. For now, the Panthers get a stud pass rusher as they look to rebound and get back to the playoffs in 2017.

    9.    Cincinnati Bengals- Derek Barnett DE Tennessee: If the Bengals cut bait with  Adam Jones for his latest stupidity, this changes to Lattimore. They need someone opposite of Dunlap, and Barnett could provide exactly what the Bengals need to jump the Steelers & Ravens in the division.

    10. Buffalo Bills- Deshaun Watson QB Clemson: Someone will fall in love with Watson. Whether it's the 49ers, Jets or Bills remains to be seen. With Tyrod Taylor expected to be gone, the Bills finally hope they found their franchise quarterback in Watson.

    11. New Orleans Saints- Reuben Foster LB Alabama: The Saints defense is still a mess, taking a LB like Foster could help turn things around.

    12. Cleveland Browns(via PHI)- Malik Hooker S Ohio State: I'm dropping Hooker for now but not too far. The Browns need safety help and take advantage of a top prospect falling to them.

    13. Arizona Cardinals- Corey Davis WR Western Michigan: Fitzgerald told ESPN that he is coming back for 2017 but they need someone for the future.

    14. Philadelphia Eagles(via MIN)- Dalvin Cook RB Florida State: Carson Wentz is going to have input on what the Eagles do this off season and a RB like Cook will most certainly take pressure off Wentz.

    15. Indianapolis Colts- Marshon Lattimore CB Ohio State: Chris Ballard knows the impact of a talented corner as he was there when the Chiefs drafted Marcus Peters. This will provide a huge boost to the Colts defense that badly needs improving.

    16. Baltimore Ravens- Quincy Wilson CB Florida: I think it's time we get a legit corner opposite Jimmy Smith. We can not go into 2017 with Wright as a starter, Tavon will make for a great nickel and a solid 1-2-3 punch with Smith/Wilson/Young and Double W(Webb and Weddle) at Safety.

    17. Washington Redskins- Zach Cunningham LB Vanderbilt: The Redskins can upgrade from Will Compton and Mason Foster.

    18. Tennessee Titans- Jabrill Peppers S/LB Michigan: Tennessee grabs their Safety of the future. The Titans need to upgrade their secondary, and get a major boost here,

    19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Christian McCaffery RB Stanford: With Doug Martin's suspension and the fact he's cooled off since his rookie year, the Bucs are ready to move on from him. They may trade ahead of Philly for Cook but for now take the third best RB in this class.

    20. Denver Broncos- Cam Robinson OT Alabama: No matter who the Broncos franchise QB is, Denver needs to upgrade their protection. Robinson is great value here and can immediately start at right tackle.

    21. Detroit Lions- Caleb Brantley DT Florida: They took A'Shawn Robinson last year but having someone who can grow along side him for the next 8-10 years would be ideal.

    22. Miami Dolphins- Taco Charlton DE Michigan: Mario Williams is likely to be released, and Miami needs some young pass rushers.

    23. New York Giants- Jarrad Davis LB Florida: Kelvin Sheppard is a FA and will need to be replaced.

    24. Oakland Raiders- Malik McDowell DT Michigan State: The Raiders need to improve their defense, as they were ranked toward the bottom of the league. If the Raiders want to take the next step, improving the defense is a must.

    25. Houston Texans- Mitch Trubisky QB North Carolina: The Texans ownership has already said Osweiler will have competition next year. Trubisky will fall as soon as the height concerns(shorter than what North Carolina lists him at) become reality. That won't stop Houston as they are in need of a true franchise quarterback.

    26. Seattle Seahawks- Ryan Ramcyzk OT Wisconsin: The Seahawks offensive line was the weakest part of the team in 2016. An upgrade at OT is needed and Ramcyzk will give a boost to Russell Wilson's protection in 2017.

    27. Kansas City Chiefs- Takkarist McKinney OLB UCLA: Dee Ford is entering a contract year, will KC give him the money he's looking for? If not, they can prep another pass rusher to take over when he leaves.

    28. Dallas Cowboys- OJ Howard TE Alabama: The future after Tony Romo is clear, Dak Prescott. Jason Witten is playing at a high level but grooming his successor would be wise. If this happens, Dallas' offense will be set for the next 10-15 years.

    29. Green Bay Packers- Sidney Jones CB Alabama: The Packers secondary makes our secondary look good. An upgrade is badly needed as they can not continue wasting away what time Aaron Rodgers has left(Turns 34 in December)

    30. Pittsburgh Steelers- TJ Watt OLB Wisconsin: James Harrison may comeback in 2017 but they need to find some young blood. Watt would provide Pittsburgh a talented pass rusher opposite Bud Depree.

    31. Atlanta Falcons- Dan Feeney G Indiana: Chris Chester is a free agent, and part of the Falcons success is because they invested in their offensive line. They continue doing so here.

    32. New  England Patriots- Tim Williams DE Alabama: Yeah Williams is likely to drop to the second round but the Patriots did pick up Michael Floyd after his DUI. Chris Long and Jabaal Sheard are free agents, so the Patriots take a gamble on a troubled  player and will be called geniuses and that this was a great move, opposed to someone else taking him and being called a bad pick.

    Ravens Round 2-4:

Round 2, Ethan Pocic C LSU: This may be a reach in the second but Travis Frederick was a reach when he was picked too. An upgrade over Zuttah is needed, and giving him competition may light a spark under him. Or Pocic will out perform him, take over and help lead our running game to great success like he did for Leonard Fournette.

Round 3, Tyus Bowser OLB Houston: We pay lots of attention to the Senior Bowl, Bowser was the sack leader for Houston and showed off his coverage skills during senior bowl week covering a first round prospect in OJ Howard. Ozzie and co will snatch him up and make him another senior bowl standout drafted by the Ravens.

Round 4, Cooper Kupp WR Eastern Washington: We haven't addressed WR yet in this draft but something tells me we may do so in FA like we always do. So while it took a while, we finally get that WR to pair with Perriman.

Love it but no way in hell does kupp last until round 4. There is  talk of him sneaking into the back end of the first. Realistically  I  see him being taken in the teens in the 2nd. Everything else is spot on. Don't think Jones falls that far but certainly possible.

Given what DeCosta and Horitz said, I think WR is absolutely in the cards in the first round. We might even take one over a CB.

I disagree. What I gathered from the recent interviews was that corner and o-line are of equal priority followed by pass rusher. I got the impression that receiver will be addressed thru FA. Esp with perriman and Moore looking to take that next step. I'd even venture to say RB will be a priority over receiver in the draft. After bringing roman in we are going to get back to being ALOT more balanced. That said- ofcourse if the BPA is a receiver and mike Williams falls in our lap or Cooper kupp in the second- that changes things quite a bit. Always based on how the board falls but going in I'm assuming a corner, pass rusher and OL are taken in rounds 1-3. Probably take a receiver with the comp from KO.
