  1. Can we hope a picture of Myles Garret with a marijuana gas mask on Leaks 10 minutes prior to the draft? Don't think we'd pass this time!
  2. If we stay put ideally I'd take Jones. If he's gone then Wilson. If theyre both gone I'd trade back for Feeney. Only way I'm trading up is if Mike Williams falls to 12 or 13 and all we have to give up is our comp 3rd and a fifth.
  3. Tankersly and Tabor wouldn't even be on my board. Jones-Lattimore -and Wilson are my favorite... and in that order.
  4. We gotta remember we did the most damage in the fourth round last year. First and seconds are great, but there's alllllot of hidden talent in them in between rounds and stacking picks gives you a better shot at finding quality starters as opposed to putting all your chips on one player. That said if a guy like lattimore or mike Williams is sitting there at 13 I might jump. Such a tough call. I'd be way too indecisive to make decisions like that.
  5. i agree and disagree . I think the class is weak..but qbs always move up closer to draft time and teams always reach for them no matter what. Id venture to almost guarentee Atleast 2 will go before we pick.
  6. Yeah he's def my OL prospect next to Feeney. Either of those guys and I'm chipper as hell. There is talk he could slip into the bottom first. I tend to disagree but you never know. Yeah it was said by i believe Davenport that he's the guy we've spent the most time with so far. Lol def see the resemblance. He looks like a damn baby- don't play that way though. Very high character guy - I can't imagine him not being on our radar. I agree- I think kupp better fits the mold of what we need as well. I'd snatch him in the 2nd in a heartbeat. Would even consider moving up a few spots if we think he might get sniped. Don't like the idea of losing a pick but I think he may be worth it when all is said and done. We need to finally land that star receiver and get that monkey off our back.
  7. Yeah we wouldn't have to trade out of the first in order to pick up an extra 2nd. Move back into the 20s and take a guy like Watt or Feeney - then still grab an extra 2nd to attack cb and Wr. Now this would be something to consider. Getting an early second would allow us to still get a top notch player that slides down- and then we still got two other 2nds to work with to grab guys like Pocic and cooper kupp. Not too mention the thirds- this is a deep draft as far as our needs are concerned- so we basically could knock out every single need in one swing with a trade like that. Unless a guy like lattimore or Williams fell in our lap I would absolutely jump on that. Cleveland def has the firepower. How often to teams trade with other teams in their own division or do y'all think that even is a factor whatsoever? I guess draft positioning means more than anything- I was thinking if the browns are trying to get back into contention they'd much rather find another trading partner as opposed to giving us a haul like that when they have to face us twice a year- but If they have a player they really covet such as a qb and they think he will go right after us then im sure it'd be irrelevant. Who's drafting at 17 would be a better question?
  8. I don't mind him at 16. Not my favorite but I think its a safe move. And him being able to get his head around and find the ball is my favorite trait any corner can have. I get so frustrated BC it seems likeso many corners struggle with that- ESP ours.
  9. It's important to have depth and the chance at finding starters are better the more picks you have- but like you said theres only 53 spots. And do we wants starters or stars? That's why we just need to walk that line and balance out with a little bit of both. Stack some picks but don't hesitate to package them and move right back up if there's a guy there we really covet go after him!
  10. You and I both Buddy. Or how about if we could trade back a few spots and still land harris- then grab kupp and Pocic in the 2nd?
  11. Bingo. And just listening to an interview with decosta my interpretation is that OL and corner are equally at the top of the totum pole. If Feeney can play center, AND we can trade back and get him while getting an extra 2nd ....wow I can't even finish my thought thinking about how great that could be. Imagine this: 1)Feeney 2)Cooper Kupp 2) Desmond king/ White
  12. Was just about to say the same thing. I think cooper kupp in the second would be a great move. May not be feasible tho with the way he's been showing out at the SB - he just might sneak into the first. Its a shame too BC before that I think we may have had a real shot to pluck him in the third.. But yeah if he falls to us in the second I say we pull the trigger. He could possibly eventually fill the void left by steve- and he can do it all- inside and out. If he even gets close to us in the second I would consider giving up a 4th or 5th to move up a few spots if we think he's on somebody's radar or think another team may snipe him. We need to find that perfect balance between being aggressive but still being conservative and stacking picks. And our guys are the best in the biz at doing so - so I fully trust them. The only thing is after listening to an interview with decosta I don't think WR is that high on the totum pole of needs. I know alot of smokescreen is used pre draft but what I deciphered from his words were that CB and the OL were equally the top priority followed by pass rushers. After that I think WR comes into play- but then again you just never know with them- they could surprise everybody and easily take a RB round 1... Its anybody's guess. And I get the feeling they are going the FA route with WR unless one falls into our lap.
  13. So true. And I get negged just for agreeing with your assessment. Lol The pettiness.
  14. If he slides to 13 do we make a move or stand pat? I do think he has that AJ potential as well but i don't see him as a "can't miss" the juice could be worth the squeeze..
  15. Not sure why you got negged so much and where all the haste came from? I agree on all accounts.
  16. My dream scenario would be trade down once or twice for Watt- grab Pocic in the Second - grab desmond king with the pick acquired from trade- take the highest wr and then cb on the board with both thirds such as cooper kupp / westbrook and then Corn Elder. Then just go BPA from there on out. That gives us 1)Pass rusher 2)Center 3)Safety/ Cb 4)WR 5) CB 6) Depth
  17. Very true. I'm kind of torn on the idea. Part of me hates it and part of me thinks it might be a good idea.
  18. That would be a really great scenario.
  19. He's not going anywhere bud. Best believe he's pulling his little drama queen act. Just like suggs said Benjamin will be right on the feild come game time. His ego is too big to walk away without announcing it beforehand and getting a "farewell tour"
  20. Ofcourse he is. I meant we are unlucky as far as having the ILB position sewn up. His health is more important obviously but that still doesn't mean it doesn't suck.
  21. ill admit I haven't studied him much. Just going off of what I've heard. And ofcourse during the slow offseason/ training camp everybody's the next superstar according to Ravens writers. I do know however we need more players with attitude.
  22. Good question. That's what makes peppers intriguing- but his lack of producing turnovers turns me off quite a bit. I'd like the pick but wouldn't love it.
  23. Bisciotti certainly will be gawking over the pass rushers and cbs- but Ozzie doesn't let anybody persuade him away from his vision. Might turn out that those positions are the BPA anyway. I disagree his seat is even warm though. Harbs's will be getting toasty before Ozzie's even gets Luke warm. He's earned a ton of leeway- and everybody knows he's grooming Eric anyway. So almost undoubtedly Steve will ride it out with oz until he steps down- which I think may be in the near future. 2 or 3 more years tops. Decosta will be our GM by 2020.
  24. he's listed at 6'0 ft. 217 lbs....only 7 lbs lighter than Orr. Pack on a few this offseason and I think he'll be fine. Plus the speed will help in coverage situations-which both Mosley and Orr did a great job with this past year. Mosley struggled big time in 2015 with that- so he def improved quite a bit.
  25. very true. We could be though depending on what we do in FA and in the later rounds. I dont know just smells like an Ozzie pick to me.
