  1. Yes- if the bills beat the fins Saturday, and if Oakland wins so new England has something to play for week 17.
  2. Very true but I guarantee you everybody would've been praising him for going for the throat instead of settling there. But like you said..who's to say running the ball wouldn't have resulted in a TD anyway? With the way we were running the ball who's to say a sweep or even a reverse wasnt an " aggressive " play call. Doesn't matter who you put the blame on- Joe just HAS to be more careful there. Not a time to be throwing into tight windows.
  3. Can't believe cinci self destructed like that. They had that game in the bag and in the second half the steelers just kept chipping away at that lead. I knew they were gonna blow it- and had the Steelers won and we lost ( which is what it was to look like) we all know that meant season over. If those idiots would've held on we could've went into next week without even having to THINK about week 17. Would've been win and we're in, a much more comfortable feeling. But when is anything ever easy for us? Exactly. Fans are so wishy washy and they only react to the outcome with the benefit of hindsight. Had that been a TD you wouldn't have heard 1 peep about not running the ball there. That could've been the nail in the coffin, which we've all been looking for. Defense was probably expecting a run- so I understand the thinking behind it. Still was obviously the wrong decision ( esp in hindsight) based on the amount of time remaining- and how well we were running the ball. Joe just HAS to protect the ball there- and that is completely on him. If its not a wide open throw- chuck it out the endzone and live to play another down- or better yet just sit down lol! Had that been returned for a pick 6 we really could've been screwed. But yeah I don't understand blaming harbaugh there- and yet he still took responsibility iike a good coach should. Riiiiight. He took responsibility even when it wasn't on him. You should be able to trust your qb to take care of the ball in that situation. And he's supposed to say what? We've got to play worse? Thats the way I see it. Really sucks too BC we could've had some momentum and positive energy going into Pittsburgh. By the way the board looks if I didn't know the score I'd be sure we lost! In the end we got the job done, the offense did well, Tucker did what Tucker does best ( and became the all time leader in feild goal %- along with tying record for most 50+ yard FGs) and the defense made the play when it counted the most. Doesn't matter who you put the interception on ...marty- harbs- Joe...you put the victory on the team. The game wasn't shown in my area- and im almost glad- BC just watching the ticker at the bottom of the screen alone almost gave me a heart attack. One second I see it and it has us at 27-17 with the ball inside the 15 with about 6:00 left...so I'm like cool we got this...just run it a couple times , milk the clock and punch it in with dix or west or at worst let tucker put the game out of reach . next thing I know I look up and the scores the same except philly has the ball and I'm like what the heckff. I then become glued to the ticker and am watching the clock run down and I'm thinking no way we could let this happen again. All of a sudden there's a minute and some change left and Philly has the ball and I just knew they were going to score. Whatdoyaknow with 4 secs left they punch it in. I also knew right away they were going to go for two. So I'm sitting here in agony not knowing what's going on while simultaneously watching the Bengals self destruct. The tickers not updating and I'm sitting there thinking about what I'm going to do during the off season thinking its over and all of a sudden I see the word kickoff but the score was still the same- so without knowing what happened I'm thinking either A) the score hasnt updated yet and we lost. B.. we somehow miraculously blocked or they missed the PAT, or most likely C) they went for it and failed. Obviously i was thinking the worst and that it was "A"...but I then finally saw the word " final" and let out the biggest exhale you could possibly imagine. Unfortunately I still couldn't feel good about it due to the Bengals screwing us, and us winning in that fashion- but it definitely beat the alternative. And Denver losing made me feel a bit better too. If only cinci didn't self destruct just like they did in the playoffs last year then next week would be do or die and would have taken a lot of pressure off of our players- BC you know regardless they will still know in the back of their minds we have to beat cinci even if we pull out Pittsburgh. They can say they're only taking it one game at a time but inevitably it will effect them subconsciously. Anyway a wildcard berth is still not out of the picture- we all just have to become the biggest bills fans this Saturday. Not worried about denver- they are dead in the water. But if Miami makes it in before us the way we manhandled them I will be literally SICK. * question- I wasn't able to watch the game so how did campanaro do aside from the big run on offense? Was he back there for punts and kickoffs?
  4. Funny.
  5. J tuck missing!? Pshhhh lol. Anyway Tucker should be (is) enough of a pro that the snap count shouldn't matter in regards to making the kick. When they hike the ball, do your job..doesn't mean you have to hike the ball at the exact same time every feild goal attempt.. That's just asking for trouble. Its hard to criticize tuck for anything since he's been so lights out, and if anything I put it on the center for not getting his head up. The holder calls out the snap on a feild goal attempt correct? Never really thought about that.
  6. Not making the playoffs would be a huge disappointment but a 9-7 season after winning only 5 games is a major improvement and a move in the right direction. Esp with the way our draft panned out. Nail the 2017 draft like we did the last one and the future will be very bright. But let's focus on the here and now and send Steve sr. Out with a bang like he deserves. Let's make Wentz look like the rookie that he is and keep him on the ground. 3 interceptions today.
  7. Yeah thanks for nothing. The fins thumping the jets really stings. The jets started off decent and then just self destructed. Not worried about denver- but our wildcard hopes ride on buffalo next week. Hopefully they will be playing for Rex. They win that and the fins will have their hands full with New England week 17. Hopefully NE will still be playing for that number 1 seed so we also have to root for KC . Ofcourse we have to take care of our own business first. Really sucks that we might miss out on the playoffs by one game. Makes you think about those 3 or 4 losses we lost by an inch to a couple yards. If the fins make it in over us the way we stomped them that will literally make me sick. Unfortunately for us Matt Moore played better than Tannehill has all year too. He is more than capable of going into buffalo and getting it done. Funny how tannehill getting hurt could have actually hurt us lol.
  8. Yep- with all this dink and dunk crap goin on atleast a small shifty guy would help move the chains a little more.
  9. We just need an OC who has a REAL run first mentality. By next year Dixon will be flourishing- and hopefully we can keep the OC for more than 1 or 2 damn years.
  10. And if we make a run and make it to or win the Superbowl? Just a hypothetical- obviously I know that's extremely farfetched.
  11. While I agree to an extent and its hard to complain about a group that's been nearly perfect all year long- but when you do something the exact same way every single time in the same amount of time- yeah you might get away with it the first 12 weeks or so - but eventually teams pick up on stuff like that and will use any little thing to get an advantage. I know its knit picking- but a team like the pats will study every little thing ,exploit your weakness or vulnerability and expose you. Against a team like that the little things matter- such as feild position , discipline and timing- all of which we failed at. We should have seen that coming and switched up the snap count.. Not every team will let you get things the easy way.
  12. The timing of their routine is so obvious. Tucker kicks his foot into the ground about two times and does the little shoulder movement and about 2 seconds later the ball is snapped like clockwork. A team like new England will pick up on little knitnacks like that everytime. You have to switch up the snap count or simply raise your head as the center. Can't believe how easy they made it look. Embarrassing.
  13. No HESTER was a waste of a roster spot. Camp atleast fills 2 positions.
  14. We won 7 straight games to start the season ( including preseason) and that was before we had learned anything about our team and with trestman. Unfortunately marty hasn't shown me anything different but its certainly possible. Realistically i see us winning 2 of 3 and having a strong shot at the wildcard but who knows.
  15. Lol Good one
  16. Just to point out , gruden was using the term "flatliner" in a positive manner - implying that he doesn't get rattled regardless of mistakes or score ..he will come right back and gash you if your not careful when you least expect it.
  17. I could point out numerous examples from this year but I'll save it for somebody who's a little less arrogant. Our record would be atleast 10-3 right now had our defense held up when flacco gave us the lead and/or if our receivers made the plays that were right in front of them. Naturally ppl put the blame on the qb -and he does have plenty of room for improvement -but we'd pretty much have the division locked up right now if it wasn't for 3 or 4 huge mistakes that weren't on him- and he STILL almost pulled a few of them out. ( perriman not getting his feet down; not stopping obj on 4th down, letting Carr March down the feild after taking the lead and still coming just short of feild goal range due to a Chris Moore drop) and once again- flacco is not the type of qb that is meant to throw the ball 45-50 times a game..he thrives off play action. These constant oc changes certainly arent helping matters. You must be pretty bored re-hashing comments from over 2 months ago though.
  18. Don't know why it quoted you -wasn't directed at you, my bad.
  19. And not surprisingly neither of you offer an alternative option. Camp atleast kills two birds with one stone. Nope- haven't forgotten that- but they were the only fumbles I believe he's ever even had and in a preseason game. Everybody makes a mistake eventually, but I trust his hands. I wouldn't really be opposed to Steve doing it- but we don't know if he even wants to. That's really up to him, not to mention that puts our number 1 receiver coming off a serious injury at risk. Plus we need to keep him fresh when the offense takes the feild. Still would've preferred that over Hester. I'm actually a proponent of Webb doing it.arguably best hands on the team, has experience, and will give him time to rest when offense has the ball before defense takes the feild again- even though he's mostly going to be fair catching them anyway. How about we have two options- send Webb out there when the feild position requires for a simple fair catch- and send Steve or camp when we have room for a return?
  20. 0% chance of being fired this year- even if we lose out. ( which we won't anyway) Boom.
  21. Whom or what do you suggest? Camp provides reliable hands and an extra weapon In the slot to move the chains.
  22. Good riddance. Bring on campanaro. I think he's itching to provide a spark.
  23. Whatever you say Wiz.
  24. Steelers lose to cinci and we beat philly....then all we have to do is beat Pittsburgh and the cinci game is irrelevant...or if the steelers lose to cinci and we beat philly but lose to Pittsburgh we still have a 1% chance of winning the north if Cleveland beats them in week 17 lol Honestly I think the wildcard is our best hope. Beat Philly and cinci and pray like hell Miami loses two. If they don't lose to the jets then we gotta hope that the bills take care of business for Rex and that the cheifs keep winning so they will be in contention for the #1 seed and give new England something to play for in week 17. I'm not too worried about denver losing two...I think their playoff hopes are done looking at their schedule. That miami win might be our saving grace.
