  1. No4 talent at best. Poor speed, zero separation, and worst of all bad hands. There are slow/er guys that play well in the possession wr position, but even those guys have other skills that yield separation and they most likely have great hands. A.Bolden is one of them. Aiken is at most a possession style player. But his hands are never reliable and even under current circumstances, Joe has given Aiken tons of opportunities to "knuckle up"...and he has blown too many of those chances. I used to like him but i have seen zero improvement in the last few yrs in his play. same old same old
  2. They know that they are gonna make offensive highlight film tomorrow.
  3. Defensive backs are just embarrassing. How do you play the ball when you arent even close enough and cant even turn around to locate it. High (1st-2nd rd) DB is priority in offseason. Outside of Jimmy Smith we have a trash filled backfield of Cbs and SS/FS. just clueless and giving up long plays 24/7
  4. Theres a lot of rookies always making impacts. I think being real here, its not likely that we will go to the playoffs. The real thing long term issue here is who is worth keeping and what kind of jumpstart can we get for moving fwd and next yr. give all these guys on the team and in the practice squad a chance to see how hungry they are. We can see what our current seasons plans got us, i think its time to make serious changes to see what this team really has
  5. Its time to take out the trash. Dont even know where it starts or stops but i do know that E.Monroe, M.Brown, L.Webb are virtually worthless to this team now. Monroe is softer than Campanaro and is always injured and its pathetic. Brown cant catch a cold and is scared of any contact it seems, just sick of even seeing him on the field because there are plenty of guys on the practice squad that can get a chance. at this point who cares how ready they are, its time to test them. We already know what Brown brings to the table...nothing. Start giving other guys a chance now because we are not going to the playoffs this year and we need to see on-the-job film on these other guys. Im sure that someone we have overlooked will seize the opportunity and take advantage of it. Take out the trash asap
  6. I hope that we get a strong play on Vernon Hargreaves III from Florida. CB is a super talent at the position. guys like him are always able to go to get the ball and finish plays where it seems like our CBs are too busy trying to recover from burns and never get to even play the ball. I feel we have current and future passrushers here just need more in the back end to delay progressions.
  7. Dont know how to make this short...But blaming Pees and bloaming this or that person for individual plays is a little beneath waht the real issue is here. * Talent * Tenure * Leadership Those are all serious problems on our team right now. Changing the DC & OC is not enough to overcome the last several years of failed drafting. We have been forced how many times to find Ray Lewis and Ed Reed's replacement? how many times have we kept drafting to get legit guys to fill them shoes? The same goes for many other positions across the team. The guys drafted 3-5y ago are supposed to be the current field generals and we really dont have any of them. They are like lost children before, during, and after each play when burned. There is NO R.Lewis type leader getting in their ears, making them better. Ozzie i feel had a great draft (even without Perriman) but he really needs to do it again next year in the worst way. It usually takes 3y to know what you got in a draft, but what about all the years we did get anything. Those are hurting us now. We are full of junk players that couldnt start on 80% of hte teams in the league, and full of young guys, who do have a ton of young talent, but need more time to mature into the style of pro ball we play. we are a precision team with dull parts all over it. At first i thought it was Pees this and Trestman that, but the more games i watch, the more i see that its the players more than the coaches. Sure Pees could make them a little better, but we are far more than a little off. Guess the bottom line im trying to make is that the source of the bleeding is much deeper then many believe. We are short of TALENT in many positions. WR is a severe problem and our 2ndry/Backfield/Pass Rushing. Losing Suggs may become a serious reality as well. Look how long it took him to recover fully in the past and return to form, and hes now atthe end of his career. I wouldnt be betting money that he will do that again, and certainly wont bet that he will be a factor after he returns. Z'darius Smith has a lot of talent and could in the future be a Qb killer, but still only leaves us Dumervil, who when couble teamed constantly cant do that much. OZzie has serious work to do and id bet hes already looking at the draft crop at PR and CB/SS. It is a matter of how fast can we rebuild with that 80/20 restock rule at this point
  8. The upcoming draft boards this off season will be PARAMOUNT. WE have some serious rebuilding that needs to happen and if Ozzie/Brass don't hit it great, this could be a 4yr recovery process. This past yr, with exception to Perriman (still unknown) was a pretty good draft imo. The previous 5y dating back to the Kindles, Reid, Brown, Simon, and several others has really hurt this current team. Especially in the leadership and starting roles, as we have none. Too many recylced scrubs and youngsters out there where those aforementioned guys should now be our leaders. We have had to replace botched draft choices repeatedly and now its caught up to us and our Cap Space. Im genuinely concerned about this teams ability to rebuild and be able to do it in roughly a yrs time table. So many holes on defense and too much youth on offense with still a glaring hole at WR playmakers. not trying to be a downer here, just really worried because while so many point fingers at the coaches, i dont see it that way. i see a serious deficiency of leadership and talent on this team. just look at our WR core and entire defensive backfield
  9. Not only will his presense allow us to take deep strikes downfield but his presence will also be something to add diversity to the entire offensive production, thus opening up run lanes in the 2nd level, and allow for chunk running plays due to the same. Givens has never had a strong arm to get him the ball, and in the right environment could literally blossom before our eyes in the coming weeks. While many have said that we need more, and we could obviously use it, this addition could at the same time give us the flexibility that we were "hoping" Perriman was gonna provide the Ravens. This kid has a positive track record and explosion...just what the Dr ordered
  10. For KR Duties I like C.Givens. But bringing in Ross or James from the Practice Squad is a possibility...Harbs will figure it out. The bigger issue is whether or not he Offensive Line is gelling yet. Im not 100% with that Pittsburgh win that it is fixed.
  11. I would rather not get any information on B.Perriman until hes actually fully recovered and back in the lineup. Its getting really old hearing the same thing over and over. Even preschoolers now know what a PCL is
  12. I would really like to see more snaps and carries with Buck Allen. I like Forsett but given the stature of our line, especially with Monroe (still out?)that Allen is more suitable for production via Run Game. The holes provided by our Oline are slimmer than normal, and i think the bigger bodied Allen is more suitable. Im not necessarily saying that Allen is the named starter, but we have a 3-headed monster on the team, lets use it more and keep Defenses on their toes or backs with them
  13. Za'darius Smith will be another bright spot in this Ravens Defense. Only a matter of time and he will start thinking less and becoming a lot more instinctive. He has tremendous speed/quickness and raw born with skill. Z.Smith has a high ceiling i think
  14. I like Waller and think hes a sleeper, the issue i find with him is that he is slow as hell. Wallers real speed (sub 4.4ish) isnt showing up on the field at all yet. Not sure if hes still trying to get the offense down or its a comfort issue but i would really like to see this kid humming because he has all the tangibles to be a breakout player. Size, Speed, Hands, Physicality...would be great to see him blossom while hes on the fast track with us. Brown is not getting it done it seems, huge letdown as i saw him as a budding player looking back. I do think that given our Running game stays intact that Waller, Aiken, Givens and Perriman could be a hell of a crew in time, not to mention another splash possibly...
  15. Davis is going to hopefully be the real deal, esp after he gets real comfortable with this Defense and his brothers on defense. The one thing i remember hearing about him that really makes him standout is not only his ability to play smart and in position, but that he finishes his plays. He has a knack for sniffing out the INT, or get really close to it...not just defend and maybe knock down passes. That is a good sign ans when you keep hearing about his ability to position himself, that to me is a good sign that he will get better and better. For him to do what he did against Pitt at home on his debut..
