  1. The 6 players I am most excited to see this season. (1)Joe-cant wait to see how he plays with the new weapons he has. (2)Perriman- He's our future no.1 guy and I wonder if he continues the trend of dynamic rookie receivers. (3)Za'darius-can't wait to see if he lives up to McPhees status and can pass-rush. (4)Maxx-He's a huge receiving TE and Im excited to see him in action, joe loves his TE's and I think he will be the next Gronk. (5)Davis-He's a run stopping beast, on his highlight film, I seen him reach around a lineman and snag Melvin Gordon to the ground with one hand and I want to see if he can do that at the next level. (6) Allen-He's a dual threat rb who I think will excel in the nfl, he has so much talent.
  2. I hope they don't bank on him too much, we have way to many WR's and TE's to spread the ball out to. I don't really care if he gets over 1,00 yards id rather see one of our young receivers get over 1,000. What im looking for in SSS this season is helping our young WR's to grow/develop, teach them some of his tricks and DECENT production, around 500 yds, anything over that is a bonus for us.
  3. "Justin Forsett even hungrier than last year" That's what I like to hear.
  4. To be honest I was one of those who labeled him as a short yardage back, and I will continue to until I see otherwise, he looked good in preseason and showed flashes in the regular season but he had runs that shulda been a TD but wasn't, hopefully he proves me wrong, I want him to succeed and I can't wait to see him play again. Keep up the good work and prove me wrong.
  5. @robbie29, SSS is a veteran, M.Brown is entering his junior year, I have confidence in B.Perriman to continue the trend of solid rookie WR production, K.Aiken is on his 3rd team and entering his 4th NFL season, if returns fully healthy D.Pitta is entering his 6th season an was considered Joes safety blanket and M.Campanaro and C.Gillmore are both entering their sophomore year in the NFL. So if you think about it this receiving corps is really not that inexperienced. The group will be fine.
  6. 1-healthy Joe 2-KEEP Marc Trestman if he works out 3-healthy o-line 4-good relationship between Joe and receivers = Successful offense for not just this season, but for years.
  7. The new PAT rules don't really matter, we've got the best kicker in the nfl, and with our huge redzone targets including 6'6" Waller, 6'4" Williams and Boyle, and 6'5" Brown, I doubt 2-point conversions will be that hard for us, all joe would have to do is throw it up and let the boys do the rest.
  8. The player I was most happy to hear about was Waller, glad to hear he's developing and impressing coaches. I bet he'll turn out to be a real diamond in the rough and shock a lot of people. Can't wait to hear more about the players.
  9. In just 5 months, Ozzie and C.O. have turned the 2ndary from a major weakness into a strength. Having OZ on our side is so unfair to the rest of the league, it's not even funny... and I love it.
  10. The d-line will be unstoppable this season.
  11. I expect Allen to win the backup position and be the immediate starter if Forsett were to get injured or lack in production. I have a hard time seeing LT being anymore than a situational back, he's big and powerful, but lacks the speed and elusiveness to breakaway from defenders and score in open space.
  12. Can't wait to see this offense in action I know it's going to be special, there just to much talent on this team for us not to be hoisting the Lombardi trophy within the next 3 years, I keep trying to tell people but they just don't get it...WARNING DO NOT SLEEP ON THE RAVENS.
  13. Remember last year how there was all this whoopla about how many WR's to keep and the really tough decisions over who to keep... imagine how hard it's going to be for them now. Wow too many weapons... if that's a problem than it's the greatest problem for a football team to have. I think they keep 6: SSS, Perriman, Brown, Campanaro, Aiken, Waller.
  14. There's not to much I don't like about the black unis, but I do agree that they should change the sock color to white, I always thought it would go great with the white numbers and I agree they should add some stripes to the black pants to make e'm standout more. top 10 uni list #1-49ers #2-chargers #3-patriots #4-seahawks #5-ravens #6-steelers(other than the bumble bee look I like their unis) #7-falcons #8-saints #9-Texans #10-colts
  15. Not that Joe hasn't done enough to prove that he's a top 5 qb in the nfl, but I think if he wins another SB within the next 3 years, people will have no choice but to respect him, at some point you have to stop being bias and admit when another team or player is better than yours. Can't wait for Joe to prove them wrong...once again! #GoJoe #GoRavens!
  16. The d-line/stopping the run is literally the least of my worries for this team, honestly I don't have any worries but especially not the stopping the run. We did perfectly fine w/out Nagta for those 4 games, then you add the already good rookies and youngsters gain an extra year of experience, plus we got one if not the best run stopper in the draft and guys coming back from injury. The trend should def continue.
  17. Why can't they just be satisfied with how the game already is, just ruining the game little by little, first a CB has to practically play with his hands tied together, now they want to extend kicks and take away a well deserved td away and make it 2 points, SMH.
  18. I think moving it from the 2 to the 15 is too far maybe the 10. But my biggest complaint is that if you return a PAT, into the opposite endzone, it's only 2 points instead of 6, if you take the ball and put it into the other teams endzone that should be an automatic TD, why just 2 points that is so stupid to me, I thought the nfl like high scoring games?
  19. Flacco has been a SB mvp, never lost in rd1 in the playoffs, been to playoffs 6/7 times in career, strongest arm in the nfl, accurate and clutch. It amazes me how so many people can rank such lame or mediocre qb's higher than Flacco, like Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford, even Andy Dalton who shouldn't even be in the same sentence as him, and now Alex Smith. None of them have done or are half of what Flacco has done or is. But are a lot of times considered just as good and/or better than Flacco. Thought we rated qb's by their success, obviously im wrong. Can't wait to see them in the playoffs...oops forgot they don't make it that far.
  20. What about Gorrer? maybe it's just me but I thought he was pretty solid last year and at least he had an interception, against the titans. I didn't see him on the 90 man either, what happened? I thought he was just as good as Melvin.
  21. In order for us to have a great offense this season and seasons to come is #1- keep Marc Trestman, we don't know how he will work out, but if he is a success, we MUST keep him, yeah Flacco somehow has the ability to remain successful with a constant change at OC, but that doesn't mean it's okay or good, we must have consistency at OC, or else we will never be able to get in a groove w/ the offensive players #2- Relationship, we seen last year what a lack of communication and strong relationship between QB and pass-catcher can do to a offense, Joe and the receivers don't have to be BFF's but they do need to have an understanding between them.
  22. I want Pitta to play but only if 100% ready, I don't think he should start wk1, I think that when he injured his hip for the second time, his hip wasn't all the way healthy due to how easily he went down, he didn't even get touched, this time I think he understands that he has to take his time and be more cautious. Im confident that he will come back strong with a FULLY HEALTHY HIP, unlike last season. Stop being so doubtful and trust that he knows what he's doing, if the doctor, the team, him and his family all agree that he is good enough to play and he should, who are we to say no.
  23. With everybody coming back from injury and the new additions of Arrington and Lewis, Im feeling pretty confident about the secondary...were going to be dangerous I can feel it. LETS GO!!!!
  24. And the OZ strikes again...Is it just me or do you guys smell a SUPER BOWL!!! I think this years 2ndary will be last seasons O-line, remember after last years draft everybody still had questions and was worried about the O-line and then this past season it was one if not our strongest position and one of the best in the NFL, I think the 2ndary will be just like that. Welcome to Baltimore Arrington...I look forward to seeing you shut down WR and winning a 2nd straight SB!
  25. @PalmBayRaven sorry, I liked your comment but I was using my tablet and when I tried to press thumbs up button with my finger I accidently pressed the thumbs down button.
