  1. Last 3 posts were spot on! 2014 Ravens pick Mosley instead of Ebron...wow what a pick difference now get Maxx to fill the rookie TE position. DT Carl Davis is a beast and he can learn form a group of young quick DT and DE players. If he develops, he can push 3 guys back and sack the QB... remember Naghta who? Lastly Waller could be the biggest surprise at WR. We expect Perriman to produce and make an impact but Waller, if and when the opportunity presents itself, looks very very promising! Go Ravens!

  2. I think the Ravens keep 8 WR active, one FB, 3 Tight ends, 3 RB, 2 QB, 9 linemen. for offense. 25 using 2 of the WR as return options and Special teams. Also possibly keeping a 9th on the PS. too much talent to let go. I see Aldrick R and Cam Worthy missing out barring no problems. JUst a great bunch of players to work with . Nice job Oz!

  3. AS I had posted a few weeks back.... I feel that Matt Schaub could be the hidden gem in this years off season. And he probabaly wont even start a game. His benefit will come in working with the 2nd and 3rd team offense. As well as sparring with the 1st string alongside of Joe during the season. Here he will develop the 2nd string...WR and TE and defense paralell to Joe on the field. They are very much alike. He is a smart QB who can run at game speed. This will be a blessing for the young players that we expect to be factors as the season mves forward! Go Matt...Go Joe... Go Ravens

  4. I expect the Ravens to keep 4 tight ends, and a fifth on the practice squad. Pitta, Gilmore, Williams and Boyle.....Riesner on the PS. They will keep Juice as the only Full Back. Thats where I stand on this right now. obviously its early and things can happen, but I think the 2 rookies look really, really good.

  5. I think that the Ravens took Perrimen (WR) for the long haul. There is no reason to throw him to the wolves. He needs to develop and be here when Steve S moves on. If Steve were not here, the Staff would need everyone out there. Ozzie knows the business and players its what makes him very special. I still think that Brashad helps far more than he hurts this squad.

  6. 5 MLB, 4 OLB, 4 Safeties 5 DB- 6 DL ( 5-6 of which will play special teams) -24

    3 RB, 1 FB, 1 QB, 3 TE, 6 WR, 1C, 1LS 5 OL 5 OT (5-6 will play ST) - 25 1 punter 1 kicker 1 BuQB

    1- put where you want.

what is so cool is that you can almost pick out the 53 man roster now. This team looks to get a lot of playing time and practice time together. Go Ravens!

  7. First things first....Webb, Smith, Lewis and Hill need to show they can all stay healthy. With those as the solid 4...we have some real good options for rotation with Melvin, Jackson, Levin and nickle and dime formations with Arington, Elam, Tarwick. WE can hold on to 2 rookies for the PS. thats 12 DB's in total. Looks pretty strong so far. Go Ravens!

  8. Joe will work with the team, its all about how they work the cap hit for the next 3 years. I see it at about 12 mill, 15 mil and then 18 mil ...with a restructure again in 2018 around the same. I would bet Joe looks at 6 more years (after this year) and then he will probably retire on top. He wins another Super Bowl and the team wont have any problem paying him thats for sure!!

  9. Here is one of my thoughts on a key move for the Ravens this year. Matt Schaub as the #2 QB. Now its not what most would think in having a back-up QB, the reason is not because he may need to step in for Joe ( while all of Ravens nation does not want to see that). My reasoning is because having a very seasoned, near starter ability, back up he will work with the #2 team...this team will need to develop quickley. The young 2nd team has abilties that I think everyone feels are above average and we expect that most of them will see important game time minutes. Not only on the offense but on the defense as well. Having to go with the talent, knowledge and experience of Matt during rigorous practice and training may be the best thing that could happen to these young players. Developing young talent in the NFL is highly under advertised... this will be an unseen factor in the Ravens race to the top this year. Welcome Matt, I am looking forward to you as an unsung hero of "playing like a Raven!"

  10. well fans....this is exactly what we asked of OZ and the team and they returned the request! A very solid 10 DB plus a couple of URRA to participate in the camps...with room we may keep a back-up DB on the practice squad. I still see OZ acquiring a veteran WR late in the camp season as well as building a solid practice squad with some interesting moves. Cant wait to see these guys in action.

  11. Awesome! well there it is..Ozzie is poised and ready when a player becomes available. Still money left in the bank and some trade possibilities, dont be surprised if we pick up a veteran WR and S after June 1 or even later when teams start trimming down. But this is the perfect guy for us right now. He is a shut down kind of guy...QB's stay away from him of they can.
