  1. Good for Aiken. He worked hard, showed his talent and came in on top of a good group of WR's. WHile the Ravens will probably rotate more WR than most teams do, you cannot take anything away from him being named the teams #2. I think we have a long list of #2b's. Steve is going to need some breaks out there, I expect to see Marlon and Darren out there for a lot of downs. S Sr. was a great example for this young group, He sets the bar high and leaves it all out on the field!
  2. now this is why Oz keeps things moving...Cut Asa, makes room for Mcghee, Ross and James. shuffles a few players here and there and ends up with Asa back on the team. Brown will probably get called back with the first team IR.
  3. Its gonna be great because one of them is going to lose!
  4. Wow...this could happen! Can you imagine just send them all on a bump go route..lol. Joe will pick the mis match.
  5. great to have Webb back, he has been training for this game. a few practices to shake the "cob-webbs" off and he is ready to play some shut own corner. The key is the pressure...Suggs and Doom need to put it on Manning. He cant run like other QB's make him move and release early! the hands and speed are there to get the picks. Stuff the run and make manning pay. Good ole Ravens football! As far a Aiken...its his time to step up and shine. We have many weapons, Joe will get his chances...its time for the offense to move the ball on this suspect Denver D.
  6. I dont think McGee made either. 53 or PS
  7. Fred Jackson or Jonas Gray would be great additions. Give us a Reggie Wayne or a Hakeem Nicks type to slip in for Perriman or any available spot. The thing with those guys is probably salary. You are allowed 2 veterans on the PS now.
  8. I heard Charles is a lock. This is a good find. SO that makes Ross, Charles and Perry as new additions to the Ravens depth. Its not over yet.
  9. I was hearing that PS players get paid per game, is that true? SO this allows them to be cut or moved to active at anytime. I would imagine Oz is talking with the likes of Jonas Gray and Montee Ball just to get a feel for the $. I wouldnt be surprised if a call went into Reggie Waynes camp. just to feel the water.
  10. Campinaro is the guy we had planned on all along. He had a couple really good returns last year, and this year he was supposed to step up and take ALL the returns. If he can stay healthy we will see how good he really is. Now with the addition of Jeremy Ross, we have a back up, Ross is about the equal to Camp with more NFL experience at returns.
  11. With Pitta scheduled to return in 6 weeks, it sure seems like a wasted spot.
  12. On another report page it is reported that Charles james is coming to Baltimore.
  13. why so many Tight ends???
  14. Ross is great choice in case Campy goes lame again
  15. Ross or Jacoby Ford are fine returners but I would rather we pick up Jonas Gray. Also Reggie Wayne would be worth the risk until Perriman makes it back, if he does.
  16. Last Year the O line was hurt. The last 4 weeks of the season the Ravens lost 3/4 and almost missed the playoffs. The Ravens could have picked up veteran help prior to the season, there were 2 available Guards and a Guard/ Tackle out of New Orleans they passed on. Then they kept Tallifero and Urshal. I know that they ended up to be good players however any additional win in the end would have won the division. Just stating some points that not always do we need to keep a streak of this type at the forefront of needs.
  17. Keeping that streak alive may have cost us the division and a super bowl last year! There were great options at OG and OT that the Ravens didn't make. just sayin.
  18. Why do we need a TE on the practice squad?
  19. Urban goes to DTR .... or Perriman? Ravens pick up Reggie Wayne? Jonas Gray?
  20. I think I pick up Reggie Wayne and Jonas Gray both! DTR Perriman or Tallifero cut Urban move him to the PS. Tough times mean tough decisions.
  21. Well, I'm not sure about either one of them being done. But, neither had a QB named Joe. With Steve Sr. the #2 becomes another #1, which in essence are both #1's for the Ravens. Experience in the NFL is big. Especially to start the season. Not saying its the only option just possible. We almost don't know who is going to step up and shine.
  22. Receiver is probably a bigger issue for the start of the season. Expecting Aiken or Brown to require double coverage, or safety help might be a big wish. Though I believe they are learning. Maybe picking up Reggie Wayne or Hakeem Nicks would help. Though older they both would command respect and if lucky might surprise us with Joe's arm. Also they both had raw speed early in on, this could be of value in teaching the younger Aiken and Perriman. My feelings are that the #2 for the Ravens must demand coverage's to allow the other weapons on the team to exploit the defense.
  23. DO the Ravens look at picking up a player like Reggie Wayne, Hakeem Nicks, Jonas Gray, Jacoby Ford? and move someone to IR/DTR? maybe Perriman, Tallifero or Urban should be moved to DTR to open up the spot. Then once the season is under way things could become a bit clearer.
  24. 4 players that look to be options for the Ravens ,now that cuts are in...Reggie Wayne, Hakeen Nicks, Jonas Gray, Jacoby Ford.
  25. How about picking up Reggie Wayne for 1/2 a season. Here is a receiver that Perriman could learn from. Had 4.3 speed early on and knows how to catch the ball. If we could get him for the right price he could be that "2nd threat" on the field to free up the many other options the Ravens need to use. I believe Wayne could draw corner and safety coverage this is the what the Ravens could use at this time in the scheme of things.
