  1. Giving Flacco time to throw the ball is just as important if not more! The OT and O line need focus if KO leaves the team that means we are out of a Tackle and a Guard. Monroe struggles when he plays, just not sure he is the answer at LT. Put the focus on Offensive line, Pass Rush, CB, WR, and then any developing needs in that order. Just my two cents
  2. After this year, its hard to say where we DONT need a player. our QB is hurt, RB hurt, WR hurt, others cant catch, cant run, cant block, but we have a kicker YES! ...Our DL is very good, our LB struggle to cover and cant convert run option spread, our backs are suspect, our safties are suspect, cant intercept, get beat deep, but we got a punter YES! So If KO isn't a solid lock, we probably should look real close at an Offensive Left Tackle, gotta protect Joe and the backs or this team is dead in the water. Monroe is not the answer...may need to look for a trade for him somewhere else. If we can keep KO, then pick a great player!
  3. First off, If Osemele is hurt often why would other teams pay him more that than the Ravens are willing to pay him? KO will stay if the Ravens offer him a good deal which I think they will. 5 year deal progressive for a lineman is a very solid contract in the NFL. I would let Jeffery go or Monroe go...maybe a deal using either one of them. Joe definitely needs to re-structure! He needs KO and I think he and his Agent know it.
  4. Can everyone say Brent Urban, Timmy Jerrnigan, Carl Davis, Brandon Williams and Lawrence Guy! Beasts!. I think that its possible that Ravens could roll out a 4-3 option moving Upshaw, ZaD and Mosely (get bigger) up to DE on the line!
  5. Ravens still need a Pro bowl Corner, #1/2 Wr, help at Safety, RB, Back up OT, Cover LB. I think some trimming needs to be done and move some people around. Look for some solutions at RB, Cover LB, and Safety- Draft/Trade/FA options. KO to LT move is a good one, but now we need a back up OT. Move Webb to Safety as an option, Mosley suffering he may need to get less playing time or get bigger, he cant cover. Look for another Big Back. Get a solid experienced receiver and Corner..look to pay some $. Re-structure Joe- $ get a receiver for him!
  6. I think its great! BUT..I also think the Ravens should go get a bookend #1 experienced WR. Pay the money, maybe a couple of years younger than Sr. so that they could remain for 2 or 3 yrs. as a #1-2. Also, a lot of insurance would be a good thing looking at how this season ended up. Next year aint much clearer. Maybe a Dwayne Bowye, Keenan Allen, Randall Cobb, strong, hard to cover, type 700-1000yd avg would be fine for around 5/6 mil. This would put the Ravens at the starting gate with 4 starters, IF and a big IF, Perriman can be a starter and Sr is ready. Plus the pick ups this year...Daniel Brown, Givens, Mathews, Butler plus drafties.
  7. Solve the 3 and outs you solve much of this problem!
  8. Just go out there and play like Ravens! all this BS isnt going to change anything. They arent going to lay down, they will win games playoffs or not!
  9. The Ravens will continue to search for a way to win...I dont think there is any number of players or coaches they will go through to get on a winning track. So dont expect this team to play down or settle for losses. Game on...looking for 11-5 if they don't look at it that way then the heck with all of you!
  10. little things add up and up. they now have become big!
  11. looks like the Ravens just gave up too much. Solid mid level players just are not going to do it for them. Superstars and Showman are who capitalize in todays football. Sure if the planets align, the stars come out and the cards match up ...maybe just maybe a 10-6 record gets a bunch of mid-level players in the playoffs. The Ravens need to develop, its just that simple, but they will need superstars too. It really looks like this team is throwing things up to being lucky or not.
  12. I would support that, the guy would be great with Green Bay. They look to be on their way. I dont think the Ravens will do it.
  13. so it looks about 50/50 with the comments and choice of firing Dean Pees. Lets look at a few points not touched on, 1- The Ravens D looked, at times, pretty bad last year, it was probably the reason we missed the Super Bowl. 2. The team has changed players, the players have performed and some not as well but some better. 3 Injuries are part of the game. So what is the common denominator? DC. If you watched the game Pees actually changed at times to a modified 4-3 defense. The problem is we dont have the players for that. he strung CJ out to dry. That is coaching, knowing what you can do and what you cant. That is just one example, my vote is something needs to be done, make a move, set an example and sometimes its part of growth.
  14. dissapointed Rave- who do you want to coach?
  15. "I would answer the phone, Im hoping somebody calls me" - Ed Reed , the Ravens have contacts to make this team electric. Football is entertainment, it is about the show and play on the field. Ed is another waste on talk shows... The guy could teach young players, why not ask him to coach.
  16. "Football is about attitude, the will to win and the physical domination on the field"- Ray Lewis what this guy is doing in a suit trying to talk into a microphone has got me, he needs to be on the field coaching young players!
  17. Call up Ray, get him in here and let Pees go.. create a new legacy! Make some changes on Defense, CB, S, LB and DL. Football is entertainment, it is hype and showmanship on the field, Ray knows this better than anyone. We want a show! This BS about, work to get better, bla bla bla... Offense = WR RB needed. If Trestman stays, he needs to prove that he can win!
  18. I dont care if we win another game or not...what I want to see is some hard hitting, tackling, coverage, running, diving, throwing hard, stupid penalty free and play like you dont have a second left! This lack luster, whoops i missed.. kind of crap needs to stop. Tackling and coverages missed, I think Joe needs to burn the ball into guys stomachs like he did with Bolden. If the WR miss it, so what keep firing. This is a team, if one guy screws up or screws off, it is not acceptable.
  19. The Ravens do not scare anyone, Mcgowen kept trying things. Flacco was afraid to throw the ball. If the Ravens go 3 and out with crap plays..then they deserve it. The Defense looks like they do not care...they are getting paid anyway. Sit them down, this is the way it goes. Mosley should be sat, If you commit a penalty you should sit down..no exceptions! its time to make this team accountable not just say it.
  20. YOu want change..... here it is, 1- Fire Dean Pees 2. sit CJ Mosley 3. put 2 TE ,1- FB and 2 RB in the game and sit all the WR. Somebody will get their butt in gear.
  21. I can only repeat what I heard in the pre-season, The Ravens start the season off with 4 tough games... first 2 on the road Denver , Oakland then Cinci and Pittsburgh. So most said 2-2 was most probable and still see the Ravens in the playoffs without even thinking much about it. Denver, Cinci and Pitt...sure but Oakland? So here it is 1-3, and the Ravens now have to make up a win somewhere down the line. So go do it! This team is getting better, it is growing and it is facing adversity early. I say 4 tough games, we learn much more from and anyone who thought we would be 3-1 or 4-0 was drinking the strong stuff knowing the youth on this team. The Ravens need to take advantage of the next 6 games, focus on each game and play like Ravens. Go Ravens
  22. Givens may be a gift, how many times have we seen players go through a few years to develop. This kid got pushed to the side because of QB problems, Tavon Austin and play calling. The Rams didnt utilize him, maybe the new environment here can light a spark. Joe is exactly the kind of QB who can keep calm and allow these young guys to work to their potential. Steve Sr. needs to get healthy and then the Ravens really cut loose with the young guys ready to back him up! Go Ravens...silver lining is there to be found.
  23. This team has talent....its young talent, but talent nonetheless. The up coming schedule has 6 games with 5 teams with losing records. If they can get through 4 games and get Sr. back the whole perspective changes. With Givens, Sr., Aiken, Waller, Brown and Ross this team can be dangerous. The speed improves with Givens and Ross. Waller is improving, very young but lots of talent.
  24. IS Daniel Brown still available as a free agent?
  25. WOW, in June the Ravens looked like this #1 Perriman, #2 Steve S. Sr. #3 Brown or Campi, kick returner Campi. This up-coming Game it looks like... #1 Aiken, #2 Brown #3 Givens or Waller. Givens or Webb returner. looks like They will bring up either Ross and Butler, probably Ross if he has been practicing kick returns.
