Flacco doesn't carry his team the way Luck does for one and all those turnovers are still awful. You put Luck on this team and Flacco on the other, I bet we see different results from both. The one area that really separates Flacco from other qbs is his post season play since 11. When he gets there, he turns it on. I'll give him that.

Id say the Colts have more talent and SPEED on offense. I think Flacco could take advantage of that. I'd argue that Luck on this

team would not succeed like Flacco has let alone in the playoffs.

only if he slides his ego aside, he will be the best DC for the Ravens; I just can't see him under Harbs after we took Harbs over him as a HC.....yes, too bad......

you know, all this going back and forth about the Defense and the Offense.......all we really need on offense is some speed and the defense to trust the corners alittle more and play man to man.

Rex was an amazing D-cord.....but as a head coach? aside from the first couple years of his tenure with the Jets everything has been going south. would have been nice to keep him here

Flacco is only 30, we still have alot of time to find him a real weapon. I like what I'm seeing in Gilmore. It's a wait and see with Perriman and Maxx

After the adjustment the Raiders made and going forward we may need to add more Maxx to the mix

We all know how Flacco is during the regular season, putting up 30 points is and SHOULD be more than enough to beat a team like this.

Defense failed us, offense was good. period. I hate the going back and forth with the offense and the defense. Well if Flacco would

have made this and done that we would have scored 45. We shouldn't have to put up 45 to beat the Raiders,. If the defense

would have done this and that then the Broncos would have scored less.....I don't like that type of thinking.

Over analyzing every play to the T. We lost to the Broncos on a dropped TD pass and to this team thanks to a lack of Defense.

Need to find the balance between the 2...actually 3 including the Special Teams

raiders have a much better o-line then broncos + no suggs= less pressure then last week = more pressure on secondary= even jimmy got burned bad by cooper and guys falling down or out of position.

 

TBH it can be corrected and the raiders where all fired up after getting destroyed last week lol

 

offense played much better though.

 

so if the defense gets their act together we can still make the play offs.

He was and he had a late hit on the last drive that gave the raiders 15 free yards which pretty much sealed OT and gave them a bigger chance to win it , in which they did.

 

at least 21 points id chalk up to players screwing up on defense...

basicially without suggs the others for some reason could not create any pressure on the QB whatsoever which gave carr all the time to pick us apart.

 

on top of that we missed tackles , played undiscipline and basicially missed any form of leadership on defense to straighten things out.

most of the time he had the right  play call but the players did not excecute.

 

on the raiders last TD the 2 middle LBers where supposed to cover the middle of the field in zone but no idea where mosley and smith where lol.

only mistake he made on the play is giving the receiver a free release.

Can anyone fill me in as to what happened during the game on the Defensive side of the ball? I followed on Gamecast and was

nowhere near delighted to see completion after completion on the Raiders side

At this point, our strength maybe the the TE's.

I don't think a trade would make sense. We have alot of WR's on the team. We just really needed some more protection for Flacco

and maybe throw some more WR's in the mix instead of using Smith and Aiken alot.

More Camp and everyone else. Maybe Waller with some speed.

Maxx Williams. Just need to play them and not rely on the vets

We have no receivers and we had a inconsistent QB. Not possible to grade Trestman at this point.

Man the WR's getting open was brutal, then again the Broncos have a top defense

what are you guys arguing about??? It was a horrible throw. Sure, Flacco had no time and the o-line collapsed and in retrospect he probably would have throw it away.

but it was a bad toss and a good defensive play on the ball.

At that point, it was a defensive battle minus the last INT he threw - (Flacco threw the game winner to Smith)

Sad thing is that he came right back and put one in Gilmore's wheelhouse and he didn't catch it either.

I think it's clear our defense is MUCH improved.

As for the offense, our O-Line struggled and WR's just aren't getting open.

Last drive Flacco went into clutch mode and made some passes to our TE's and got us in position to win the game.

He made THE throw but the TD was dropped by Smith.
