I think I figured out why most here are more concerned with a top pick than winning out and getting to the playoffs. Just the idea of grabbing a top 5/10 player is so out of the ordinary that the first time we have that chance it's fascinating to us as fans. So wanting to lose out to ensure we get that player, is something that intrigues us enough where losing just becomes a positive. Also the fact, it may be a while before we get this opportunity at a top 5/10 player again.
Winning at this point isn't going to help us at ALL. sucks, but if I was coaching I'd turn the rest of the year as a chance to let the young guys audition for next season and throw in some different looks. No Flacco, Justin F, No Steve Smith, No 1st round draft pick, No Pitta, No Suggs? We have missed out on ALOT of players over the last 4 years due to injury and free agency. we need to retool
Who'd be in favor of an almost complete WR reshuffle this offseason? Of course Perriman is staying on board and Aiken could be a decent rotational piece, definitely not a starter, but who else should stay? Waller will get a chance in camp sure but Brown needs to go, Camp has proven that he can't stay healthy at all, Smith will obviously be gone, too early to tell with Givens and Ross. Why not bring in a piece via FA and couple picks?
Whats everyone drinkin on tonight? I myself came across some White Henny. Gonna head to South Beach tonight, Cannot wait to get off from work ![]()
I live in South Florida and just found out that my company has purchased 16 stores in the Baltimore area........nows my chance
Should we shop Pitta for a late round pick or in a player trade when he gets back? Doesn't seem to be much room for him anymore, Gillmore has come on strong and both Boyle and Williams have had great flashes.
3rd round pick for Alshon with the conditions that we work out a long term deal with his agent before the trade goes through. Yeah our main problem is on defense but it's more so about continuity, chemistry, and lack of a pass rush. No SSS next year and Perriman is still an unknown it actually makes sense on our end, just depends how much Chicago wants and if Alshon would sign an immediate extension, probably won't happen for one of those reasons

Said it back in 2013: If Pees is staying, better start paying for those pieces around Flacco because you will need an offense that can easily put up 40 pts or better. We didn't get those pieces and now here we are.
How in the name of Art Modell do you rehab a hamstring strain? I keep having it over and over and over and if I give it time to rest, the first test run shows it's still not good. I can still play, but it's stumping my performance and frankly infuriating. Just for info, I am an inside linebacker and tomorrow we start training camp preparing for season from September.
"Somebody didn't want me and going to a place that wants you is awesome" - Haloti Ngata. No Ngata, Ozzie wanted you here but you were too greedy and refused to lower your cap space.
I care more for actual games then preseason. Last year Timmy filled in for a couple games and our defense played at the same level then when Ngata was on the field. Small sample of course, but that says more then 2 preseason games.
I can't believe he would say that, but it is what it is. Good luck trying to fill in for Suh
