  1. Oz isn't going Cook. I do not think Cook is the 16th best player in the draft.
  2. Lets give Marty a chance, our offense did look better with him calling the shots. An offseason to put in what he wants and get the guys to buy in should net us some results. It will either stay the same or improve, our O-Line is only going to get stronger with a healthy Yanda and Alex Lewis.
  3. My point exactly, thank you
  4. way to name all the best players as if that is why we lost games this year.....
  5. health once again, Suggs and Doom never quite got back to form. Age and other factors of course.. Stanley went down 4 games and we lost all of them and Jimmy went down towards the end and it hurt us.
  6. I am curious if the issues at WR would be as large if both Camp and Maxx were healthy. We drafted Maxx very high last year with expectations that at some point he takes over as our #1 TE and a real receiving threat. That is not a shot at Pitta, but it seemed to me as though Maxx could block better in the run game already. Maxx and Boyle if they continue to progress and play to the potential that we have seen in incredibly small sample sizes then I think we are going to have a much better looking offense next year. 2 TE sets both of which can catch and block.,
  7. Stanley, T-Young, Judon, Lewis, and maybe Dixon so far.
  8. easily one of the best if not THE best player in this draft. Amazing what he has been able to do to protect Flacco and his loss early in the season was felt immediately
  9. When Jimmy went down a couple times it was glaring just how weak our pass rush really was. I agree with you though, we have been much healthier this season
  10. defense did well for most of the year and trailed off at the end at the same time Jimmy went down....you know....our best defender next to Mosley and Weddle. What we need is a DE or OLB that can get to the QB. We need health and some draft picks
  11. Winston, Wilson, Newton, and Luck? Really? lmao
  12. The real issues we have are on the defensive side of the ball if you ask me. We have a lot of young guys that seem to be making plays and creating turnovers. We did not get to the QB the way we should have. Judon I enjoyed and expect growth from. We will see what happens when Carl Davis comes back healthy and what that is going to mean for Jernigan and Pierce. One of these guys needs to step up and I thought twice in Timmys career that he was going to be the guy. The first time when Ngata went down and the 2nd time this year when he started hot. As for the offense it was clear to me that the playcalling and the routes left much to be desired. We abandoned the run too many times and it felt as thought the big run plays all came thanks to a holding penalty. Flacco I expect to be better and now that he is going to actually be throwing to the young guys we should expect some reasonable improvements with the WR's especially Perriman. I thought Wallace played well and made some big plays this year. Dink and Dunk is not Flacco at all, we need to run the ball much better to set up play action. Dixon will be coming into his second year and to me the clear cut starter next year. We need to hope for some health on the OL. Alex Lewis looked good, let's hope he continues to grow.
  13. 2012 team stats. offense was 16th overall and the defense was 17th overall. When he makes that throw you get him a guy who can catch it (Boldin) our rushing attack that year was just outside the top 10 as well as Ray Rice started to struggle towards the end
  14. He wasn't doubting his passion when he rode his back to the Superbowl. None of this is new, he does not show much emotion and brushes off INT's and bad plays and moves on. Why after all these years do we all of a sudden have an issue with who he's always shown us he was. Was it because of the contact? bc since then the team has gone through a plethora of injures and departures. Since 2012 we have yet to replace Matt Birk or find a STARTING RB that will be here more than a year.
  15. Got to make it to January to see January Joe
  16. If that were true Wallace would not be targeted at much as he was.
  17. Perriman scored all of his tds later in the season and had his biggest games in the 2nd half of the season. That's progression for a guy who has no real experience playing with Joe who DOESN'T throw in the offseason to his guys unless he has to. Waller only had 12 targets, at times I questioned the game planning more than the actual talent we have.
  18. I've seen enough to know that since the contract we've asked him to do more with less...that being said, after seeing what happened this year HE HAS TO ENTER THE HYPERBOLIC TIME CHAMBER WITH PERRIMAN and just throw the ball to him ALL OFF SEASON. By the way, I think Perriman can run even faster. Something tells me he has one more gear that being in better shape now with a year under his belt will help.
  19. Mega came into the league to such a bad team.....he was part of that team that almost lost all their games that year....that takes a toll on you when you include all the hits he took from the ball being forced his way every other play
  20. When I was a bit younger I looked up to him, we are the same height but he MADE it a point to make his presence felt on the field. To be able to be considered a #1 receiver at that height is something that speaks for itself. My all time favorite WR and my all time favorite RB of all time both played their last games with us. (Ricky Williams) I had hoped 2 years a go when we made the run against the Pats that we would go deep and give Smith a shot at winning. ICE UP SON
  21. I love Alshon the most here and he is only 26.....Jackson is 33 and has had some injuries (dude is a monster when healthy) but how many times are we going to bring in those guys to be our #1? Garcon is 30 and probably a better fit for Flacco.
  22. lmaooo
  23. Maxx, we need to see what he can do. We traded up for him, lost a season due to Flacco and Co. being hurt and then this season
  24. we picked Maxx way to high to just draft another one in my opinion. I say we get Boyle and Maxx involved next year and see what they can do
